    AbstractCatatan Pinggir is one of essay forms which belong to journalistic writing. The objectives of the study are to describe the linguistic pattern used by Goenawan Mohamad in Catatan Pinggir that creates a certain kind of poetic language and to describe the poetic language in Catatan Pinggir. The sample is derived from various collections of Goenawan Mohamad’s Catatan Pinggir 2 which was published in Tempo magazine.  It consists of five essays, namely, Dari 17 Oktober, Gajah Amerika, 1,600 Bangau, Politik sebagai Panglima, and Ming. The result shows that the linguistic patterns appear in each essay of Goenawan Mohamad’s Catatan Pinggir. The study of Catatan Pinggir proves that the most various linguistic pattern using concrete word in each essay, then imaginative, suggestive, semantic deviation and register, respectively.  While the most various poetic language used comparison, personification, hyperbola, metaphor, synecdoche and irony, respectively.This proves that author in presenting news fact in Catatan Pinggir is more positioning himself as a literary man than as a journalist.AbstrakCatatan Pinggir merupakan salah satu bentuk esai yang masuk dalam kategori penulisan jurnalistik.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan pola linguistik yang digunakan oleh Goenawan Mohamad dalam Catatan Pinggir yang menciptakan satu jenis bahasa puitis yang secara estika menjadikan karya ini menjadi satu kesatuan artistik secara menyeluruh/terpadu.Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan berbasis bahasa dan jurnalistik sastra.  Sample diperoleh dari berbagai kumpulan Catatan Pinggir 2 Goenawan Mohammad yang dipublikasikan dalam majalah Tempo.  Sampel tersebut terdiri dari lima yakni dari 17 Oktober, Gajah Amerika, 1,600 Bangau, Politik Sebagai Panglima dan Ming.  Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pola linguistik tampak terbentuk di setiap esainy tersebut.Penelitian Catatan Pinggir yang menggunakan linguistic-based approach membuktikan bahwa pola linguistik terbanyak digunakan adalah kata kongkrit dalam setiap esai, kemudian imajinasi, sugestif, penyimpangan semantik dan register, secara berurutan.  Sementara penggunaan terbanyak bahasa puitik adalah komparasi, personifikasi, hiperbola, metapora, sinekdot and ironi, secara berurutan.Ini terbukti bahwa penulis dalam menunjukkan fakta-fakta berita melalui Catatan Pinggir lebih memposisikan dirinya sebagai seorang penyair dibandingkan sebagai seorang jurnalis

    INTISASITeknologi data mining sangat berguna dalam membantu penjualan dalam menemukan informasi yang sangat penting dari gudang data mereka. Data mining mengeksplorasi basis data untuk menemukan pola-pola yang tersembunyi, meramalkan tren dan sifat-sifat perilaku bisnis yang sangat berguna untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan, pencarian informasi dalam memprediksi yang mungkin saja tidak dilihat atau dilupakan oleh pelaku bisnis karena di luar dari ekspektasi mereka. Analisis yang diotomatisasi yang dilakukan oleh data mining menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan bisnis yang dengan cara tradisional memerlukan cukup banyak waktu dalam menjawabnya. Hasil dari analisis adalah menggali informasi dari data penjualan sehingga dapat memprediksi seberapa besar stok yang harus disiapkan untuk nantinya ditaruh di toko sehingga tidak ada penumpukan stok yang berlebih. Pada penelitian ini, akan dilakukan analisis jaringan saraf tiruan untuk memprediksi stok yang akan disiapkan. Algoritma yang akan digunakan adalah backpropagation untuk kemudian dapat menjadi keluaran angka yang dapat di tentukan besaran stok yang akan disiapkan kepada penjual. Diharapkan analisis yang dibuat dalam memprediksi stok dan penjualan menggunakan metode backpropagation dapat memprediksi stok sesuai dengan data yang ada

    In order to improve health in Gunung Bunder 2 Village, Pamijahan, Bogor, leactures of Budi Luhur University collaboration with Cibening Community Health Center held an activity namely health day. The health day implementation program is an activity to educate the public on issues related to health, the environment and waste management. Community involvement in the health sector has become a major focus in recent decades. This is driven by the understanding that active community involvement can increase the effectiveness and sustainability of health programs. Apart from that, 70% of public health comes from community participation. The main target of health programs, must be empowered so that they are willing and able to maintain their health. Currently in the Gunung Bunder 2 Village environment there is no waste collection, the waste is thrown into the river, landfilled or burned. This is not very good for health. The aim of health day activities is to encourage people to play an active role in maintaining a clean environment. Implementation of activities in Gunung Bunder 2 Village is carried out in stages per RW starting with the RW closest to the Village Hall where the activities are carried out

    The spread of the Covid-19 virus with new variants is a worldwide concern. Some countries are doing boosters to protect against the upcoming wave of infections. The spread of the new variant of the Covid-19 virus requires efforts to break the chain of spread, for that the Indonesian government has instructed the implementation of booster vaccinations for the Indonesian people through a collaborative socio-cultural approach. The benefits of the Covid-19 booster vaccination can increase the body's immunity, extend the period of protection against the virus and help reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Universitas Budi Luhur has once again become one of the Covid-19 booster vaccination centers in collaboration with the Puskesmas Kecamatan Pesanggrahan under the auspices of the Dinas Kesehatan Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta for the implementation of the Covid-19 booster vaccination.The implementation has been carried out is the online registration stage, the implementation stage at table-0 is pre-registration and verification of vaccine participants. Table 1: Measurement of body temperature and measurement of blood pressure, written on the control card of the Covid-19 vaccination service by health workers (midwives/nurses). Table 2: Screening (severe allergies, allergies after vaccination, pregnancy checks, autoimmune, blood clotting, immunosuppressant medication, heart disease) and special questions for the elderly by doctors. The type of booster vaccine provided by the Puskesmas in this activity is half dose of Pfizer (0.15 ml). The Covid-19 vaccine dose 3 (booster) was carried out in an orderly and successful manner with the number of participants who had booster vaccinations amounting to 98.7% of the total registered participants

    Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi di era globalisasi saat ini membawa pengaruh besar dalam proses pencarian informasi. Kita dapat melihat pertumbuhan yang sangat besar pada volume berita online yang tersedia pada jaringan internet, maupun pada jaringan lainnya. Salah satunya adalah sosial media yang memilik banyak informasi yang mengenai artikel-artikel berita atau artikel-artikel informasi lainnya. Berita merupakan sumber informasi mengenai kejadian terkini yang mana dapat ditemukan pada internet dan media sosial. Saat ini berita-berita yang disebarkan terutama berita mengenai politik yang dapat mengakibatkan salah penafsiran karena berita tersebut belum tentu benar atau salah sehingga dibutuhkan pengklasifikasian artikel politik apakah termasuk dalam kategori hoax atau non hoax. Hoax adalah berita kebohongan yang disebar untuk memperoleh kepercayaan agar masyarakat akan merasa yakin bahwa konten tersebut benar. Dampak lain dari hoax dapat merugikan emosi hingga finansial masyarakat. Proses klasifikasi hoax menggunakan tahap preprossessing yang terdiri dari tokenization dan stemming. Dilanjutkan dengan proses pembobotan kata dan jaccard similarity hingga proses klasifkasi dengan menggunakan metode Vector Space Model (VSM). Hasil evaluasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan confusion matrix, dimana diperoleh hasil precision sebesar 0,92 recall sebesar 0,80 dan akurasi didapatkan sebesar 87 %

    Changing Data Image Into Numeric Data on Kiln Manufacture Machinery Use Optical Character Recognition (OCR)

    In the process of making ceramic tiles, there is a combustion process using a kiln manufacture or oven. To ensure the combustion process goes well, 39 parameters are monitored on the kiln engine which must be monitored manually based on the data generated by the image on the kiln engine. The process of monitoring these parameters is ineffective due to human error or negligence and other human traits that result in losses for the company. Therefore, a system is needed to store the parameter data of the ceramic tile combustion engine which can be stored in a database. After analyzing the kiln, the sensor recorder that displays parameter data can be accessed via a LAN (Local Area Network), but the data generated is in the form of an image, not in the form of alphanumeric digital data. The image data obtained need to be translated into alphanumeric data as a data source. Through the introduction of optical character recognition (OCR) with the template matching method, the image is converted into alphanumeric data so that it can be stored in a database. From the results of this study, the prototype system made obtained an accuracy of 100.00% for the conversion of image data to alphanumeric data

    Prediction of Claim Fund Reserves in Insurance Companies Using the ARIMA Method

    Insurance is a financial protection contract between a customer and an insurance company which is stated in the form of an insurance policy. Prediction of insurance claim reserve funds is necessary because the claim amount varies and the claim time can be the same. If at any time there is a claim that is so large that it exceeds the available claim reserve fund plus the claim occurs at the same time, it can cause the company to fail to pay the claim. This will certainly make the company's conduct decline, customer trust will be lost, and can cause the company to go bankrupt. The problem can be solved if the insurance company has sufficient claim fund reserves. Claim fund reserves are an important issue in insurance companies. This study aims to predict the claim fund reserves in insurance companies to anticipate varying claim amounts. Historical analysis of the value of claims with the ARIMA model approach is used to predict future claim values. We use claim value data that has been scaled in millions. 2020 to 2022 as training data and 2023 as test data. The Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) metric obtained is IDR 25,780.71; Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) of IDR 14,421.89, and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of IDR 5,967.27; while the total actual claim value in 2023 is IDR 161,700.51 and the total predicted claim value is IDR 166,227.36; which means that an accuracy of 97% is obtained. The result of claim prediction value in one periodic year can give a favor to the management to make a decision, how much the claim funds should be prepared

    During the COVID-19 pandemic, the government issued various policies to tackle the spread of COVID-19. One way to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus is to vaccinate simultaneously and evenly and provide education about the importance of vaccination. Budi Luhur University takes an active role in carrying out vaccinations to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, namely by holding a vaccination center. On one occasion, together with the Association of Indonesian Sharia Banks (ASBISINDO) Jabodetabek and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Budi Luhur University was supported by the Pesanggrahan Hospital which acted as medical personnel to consult participants before administering the vaccine and the vaccinator provided 1000 doses, preferably for employees and their families. ASBISINDO and the general public. To prevent crowds, registration is done online through a system that has been prepared. Only participants who have registered online are entitled to get the vaccine. The implementing team did not forget to provide education about the importance of vaccines and remind participants that vaccines are not immune to viruses, but vaccines are a form of our efforts to fortify ourselves against virus attacks. The implementation of the vaccination went in an orderly and smooth manner, of the 1000 doses provided, almost all were used.     Managerial decision-making, a cornerstone of organizational success, often relies on logical reasoning to address complex scenarios and develop effective strategies, forming the basis of this research. While logical reasoning has been widely recognized, the integration of mathematical logic as a foundational tool for enhancing decision-making effectiveness has remained underexplored. This study investigates how understanding mathematical logic, particularly propositional and predicate logic, impacts managerial capabilities in analyzing problems, formulating strategies, and implementing decisions. To achieve this, the study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a survey distributed to 150 managers across diverse industries, with data analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to identify relationships between variables. The findings demonstrate the practical applications of mathematical logic, including its utility in strategic planning for technology firms, operational optimization in manufacturing, and improving decision-making frameworks in healthcare. These insights lead to the understanding that mathematical logic is a valuable tool for strengthening managerial decision-making processes, offering significant theoretical and practical contributions to organizational practices
