Estimation of rubber tree healthiness level using spectral indices / Aini Mardhiah Azmi
Get PDFRubber trees play an important role as a carbon dioxide sequester from the atmosphere at a rate comparable to if not better than the natural forest. Rubberwood is economically and socially important. Rubberwood has traditionally been used as a low-cost source of supports the effectiveness in most countries where rubber plantations are plentiful, such as for industrial brick burning, tobacco curing, or locomotive engine fueling. This study aims to using image classification and vegetation indices to find the rubber trees. In this study Sentinel 2 image will be used for healthiness detection using vegetation analysis. The goals of this study were to I examine the precision of unsupervised classification for determining to identify NDVI of Rubber tree in year 2015,2018 and 2021 and to analysis the healthiness of rubber tree. NDVI was used in the study to identify vegetation indexes. This study is very important for farmers to produce better rubber tree products by using remote sensing methods as well as identifying the location where rubber trees are located. The results will be proven by analyzing the accuracy of image classification and creating a Vegetation index map. For the determination of the environmental impact of the rubber tree plantation, which will result in greater rubber tree productivity, accurate information about rubber tree plantations and the healthiness of the plantations will be of great assistance
Peak time bandwidth control algorithms with fitted traffic model on broadband network YouTube video traffic: article / Aini Azmi
Get PDFThis paper presents an analysis of video traffic and fitted to best distribution traffic model to control bandwidth usage in a broadband network. The study scope comprised of collections of inbound YouTube video traffic for 7 days with the time interval of each day is 3 hours. The broadband network is supported at 1 OGbps line speed to Wide Area Network (WAN). The objective of this research is to characterize YouTube video traffic on broadband network, to fit the original traffic to best traffic model and Bandwidth control algorithm is developed based on the real live traffic and using the fitted traffic model. Results presents traffic characterizations are identified based on two (2) parameters Cumulative Distribution Functions (CDF) traffic model. Maximum Likelihood Estimator (MLE) technique is used to fit the best distribution model. Four best traffic model is identified which are Extreme Value, Weibull, Normal and Rician traffic model. Among the four, Weibull shown as the best fitted model that presents value of MLE=-1178.4 with the Scale a=9.49411e+08 and Shape P=2.81324. Bandwidth Control Algorithms is developed based on Peak Time of day and night. Performance shows the bandwidth controlled as bandwidth save, processing time, bucket capacity and cost. The major problem faced by Klinik Pergigian Dr. Aini was a limited financial resources. Meanwhile, the financial problems is closely related to economic burden in Malaysia. Perspective differences between universities and industries in developing engineering students with non-technical skills.
No full textNon-technical skill is the main attribute for a fresh engineering graduate to be employed. Recently, there are many complaints from industries regarding their non-technical skills. Many studies revealed that these skills could be developed effectively through industrial training. This paper is presenting the differences in the perspectives between universities and industries in non-technical skills development among engineering students. A qualitative study has been done on the experts which were five industrial training coordinators from universities and five employers from the industry. The experts were chosen based on are selected based on specific qualities to obtain the most relevant data. The transcribed interview data were analysed by using thematic analysis. The result reveals that there are some of miscommunication between universities and industries. It seems that universities are not able to fulfil what industry wants because of some unavoidable conditions. As mentioned before that industrial training is a very good time for student to develop their nontechnical skills. Five components are discussed namely placement in the industry, training duration, assessment, type of training or task given and learning outcomes. There are some similarities and differences between universities and industries regarding factors that are affecting non-technical skills development during industrial training. Universities should minimize the gap to ensure the students can get the most valuable experience during their industrial trainings as that can be the best platform for students to learn and enhance their non-technical skills

Get PDFThe title of this research is "Aesthetic Value Contained in the Marhaban Ya Nurul Aini Song in Bencah Kelubi Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province", the research objective discussed in this study is to see the Aesthetic Value Contained in the Marhaban Ya Nurul Aini song in the village. Disaster Kelubi, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The theory used is the theory of Jakob Sumardjo (2000: 142) which discusses aesthetic values which are divided into two values, namely intrinsic value and extrinsic value. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis research method using qualitative methods, which are the subjects in this study, namely the chairman of the Al-Berkah tambourine group, namely Helvi Desra and several members of the Al-Berkah tambourine group Nurlaila and Yuni, lovers of the song Marhaban Ya Nurul Aini, namely Nelamani and Dahyuli, along with the singer outside the Al-Berkah tambourine group, Mr. Khabil, the village head bencah kelubi Mr, Yuasmar. The data techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of the research that the author has done on the aesthetic value of the Marhaban Ya Nurul Aini song, that the aesthetic value of the Marhaban Ya Nurul Aini song can be seen from the first, namely its intrinsic value or tangible value with its extrinsic value, namely supporting value or can be called value proponents of intrinsic value. This tangible value can be seen from the musical instruments or musical instruments used, such as bass 1,bass 2,bass 3, rhythm 1, rhytim 2, ketipung 1,ketipung 2, ketipung 3 and tambourine. Furthermore, this implementation is usually adjusted to the tambourine group invited by the community who hold events such as circumcision events, weddings, and offerings name of the child or take a bath. Furthermore, the extrinsic value can be seen from the meaning of the song Marhaban Ya Nurul Aini, the message of the Marhaban Ya Nurul Aini song and the value of life contained in the song Marhaban Ya Nurul Aini, which can make an impression on everyone who witnesses the song Marhaban Ya Nurul Aini
