Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. penipuan pada tahun 1970-an yang dilakukan beberapa perusahaan komisioner
yang menjalankan kegiatan penyaluran amanat kontrak berjangka komoditi dari
nasabah di dalam negeri ke Bursa Berjangka di luar negeri. Sekarang ini
perdagangan komoditi diatur dalam Undang-undang Nomor 32 tahun 1997
tentang Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 9
Tahun 1999 tentang penyelenggaraan perdagangan berjangka komoditi. Namun
dalam pelaksanaannya perdagangan berjangka sekarang masih belum sepenuhnya
memberikan perlindungan terhadap kepentingan investor dalam pelaksanaan
investasinya di bursa berjangka yang disalurkan melalui perusahaan pialang
berjangka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang Pelaksanaan
Perjanjian Kerjasama Investasi Antara Investor Dengan Perusahaan Pialang
Berjangka.
Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan yuridis empiris,
sedangkan data diperoleh ,melalui penelitian kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan.
Selanjutnya data dianalisis secara kualitatif.
Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan pelaksanaan investasi di bursa
berjangka biasanya dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu Tahap Pengenalan
Bursa Berjangka, Tahap Perjanjian Kerjasama Investasi yang terdiri dari masa
pemberitahuan tentang bursa berjangka oleh oleh pialang, masa pemrosesan data
nasabah serta terakhir pembuatan kesepakatan tentang investasi dan
penandatanganan perjanjian kerjasama investasi dan terkahir adalah pelaksanaan
investasi itu sendiri, dimana pengawasan diri nasabah sangat diperlukan agar apa
yang diinvestasikan berjalan sesuai dengan yang dinginkan. Berbicara tentang
perlindungan terhadap investor maka hal ini mengacu kepada peraturan
perundang-undangan yang mengatur tentang bursa berjangka. Dimana dalam
peraturan perundang-undangan tentang bursa berjangka menurut analisa penulis,
secara umum telah diatur dengan baik tentang perlindungan terhadap nasabah atau
investor. Sistem penyelesaian sengketa terhadap nasabah yang mempunyai
permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan investasinya di Bursa
Berjangka dapat dilakukan melalui, penyelesaian secara Perdata yang mencakup
penyelesaian di internal perusahaan pialang berjangka atau penyelesaian melalui
lembaga bursa berjangka dengan pemanfaatan dana kompensasi dan yang terakhir
penyelesaian di Badan Pengawasan Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi
(BAPPEBTI) yang biasanya dilakukan melalui mediasi, serta penyelesaian
sengketa secara pidana yang dilakukan oleh penyidik pegawai negeri sipil yang
ada di Badan Pengawasan Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (BAPPEBTI) atau
melalui Lembaga Kepolisian dan Lembaga Peradilan Pidana.

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods

Full text linkThe purpose of this study is to reveal about: 1) Islamic Religious Education Teacher Program in improving the religious character of class VIII students at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh. 2) Strategies of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in improving the religious character of class VIII students at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh. 3) The aim is to improve the religious character of class VIII students at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh. And 4) Supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the religious character of class VIII students at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh in the 2020-2021 school year. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques Focus Group Discussion FGD in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques for the preliminary study are in the form of data reduction, data display, verification and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1) The program to improve the religious character of class VIII students at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh for the academic year 2020-2021 was carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers, namely in two ways, inside and outside the classroom. The programs carried out are integrating character education content that has been formulated, integrating character education in daily activities at school, integrating character education into programmed activities, and building collaboration between parents and schools, in other words promoting habituation. 2) Strategies to improve the religious character of grade VIII students at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh for the 2020-2021 academic year carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers are giving praise or gifts, define and drill, traits of the mouth I and counseling guidance. 3) The purpose of improving the religious character of students carried out by Islamic education teachers for class VIII at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh for the 2020-2021 school year is to direct students to become ulul albab humans, be able to determine one's character, and trigger students' personal awareness. 4) Supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the religious character of class VIII students at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh in the 2020-2021 school year that Islamic education teachers encountered, namely the habits and environment of the students themselves

Banyak kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam gerakan pramuka, selain kegiatan baris berbaris ada juga kegiatan dalam menghafal kode-kode pramuka yang dikenal dengan sandi. Sandi pramuka bermacam-macam diantaranya adalah sandi morse. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan kurang efektif yaitu berupa buku panduan buku saku atau buku syarat kecakapan umm (SKU) dengan tampilan yang kurang menarik dikarenakan buku tersebut hanya berwarna hitam, tidak adanya animasi, dan lain- lain yang menyebabkan kurangnya minat untuk mempelajarinya. Untuk menarik minat belajar tersebut dibuatlah media pembelajaran yang baru berupa aplikasi pembelajaran sandi morse pramuka berbasis komputer atau menggunakan komputer. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
