Masjid Azizi: Bukti Kejayaan Islam Etnis Melayu Langkat
The remains of Malay culture and anidentity langkat Islamic pride that still needs to be preserve dislocated azizi Mosque in the Sultanate of Tanjung Pura langkat. Sultanate langkat build Azizi mosquein 1899 during the reign of Sultan langkat named Haj iMusa. Inauguration in June 13, 1902 by the son of Haji Musa named Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Djalil Rachmat. The mosque is very similar to the Masjid Zahirin Kedah. Malaysia because it was inspired by the beauty of Azizi Mosque. Azizi Mosqueis located in the town of Tanjung Pura, the capital of the Sultanate of langkat. The layout of the mosque on the edge of Sumatra highway, which connects the province of North Sumatra and Aceh. The distance is approximately 60km from the capital of North Sumatra province, namely Medan. Keywords: History, the Islamicperiod, should be preserve
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
Inter-phase mass transfer in turbulent liquid-liquid dispersions: A comparative analysis of models
A comparative evaluation of eight models used to predict the dispersed phase mass transfer coefficient was undertaken using recent drop size and mass transfer data obtained under well known and controlled hydrodynamic conditions encountered in screen-type static mixers. A wide range of experimental conditions were covered (e[open]= 1.5-117. W-kg, φ= 0.1-0.47) thereby allowing for proper assessment of the strength and weaknesses of each model. All models failed to properly predict the experimental results over a wide range of design and operating conditions with the exception of those that contain a system-specific adjustable fitting parameter. Although these models yielded reasonably acceptable order-of-magnitude predictions, they could not accurately account for the variations in the different parameters investigated. This shows that proper understanding of the various factors affecting the dispersed phase mass transfer coefficient is still incomplete and highlights the need for phenomenological models that can account for the various physicochemical and hydrodynamic conditions on the dispersed-phase mass transfer coefficient. © 2011 Elsevier B.V.AlTaweel AM, 1996, CHEM ENG RES DES, V74, P445; Al Taweel A.M., 1984, 12 AUSTR CHEM ENG C, V1, P487; Al Taweel AM, 2007, CHEM ENG RES DES, V85, P760, DOI 10.1205-cherd06180; Alves SS, 2004, CHEM ENG PROCESS, V43, P823, DOI 10.1016-S0255-2701(03)00100-4; Andersson R, 2004, CHEM ENG SCI, V59, P4911, DOI 10.1016-j.ces.2004.07.084; Asghar D. Author, publisher and bookseller : a tripartite synergy in Nigerian book industry
This work is about the roles of Author, Publisher and Bookseller in Book development in
Nigeria. The paper started by delving into the history of Book Publishing in Nigeria after
which it proceeded by defining who an author, a publisher, and a bookseller is and
expatiated on the indispensable roles of these key actors in Nigerian Book Industry and in
the emerging Information Society. Furthermore, the various constraints to book
development were identified while the paper advised on how the Book Industry can be
further promoted in Nigeria. However, the paper concluded and made recommendations
on how the Book sector can help in enhancing scholarship in the country
Transition form factors of P wave bottomonium chi(b0)(1P) into B-c meson
Azizi, Kazem (Dogus Author) -- Conference full title: International Workshop on Quantum Chromodynamics: Theory and Experiment, QCD at WORK 2012; Lecce; Italy; 18 June 2012 through 21 June 2012.Taking into account the two-gluon condensate contributions, the transition form factors enrolled to the low energy effective Hamiltonian describing the semileptonic chi(b0) -> B(c)l (nu) over bar, (l = (e, mu, tau)) decay channel are calculated within three-point QCD sum rules

Azizi v. Thornburgh, 908 F. 2d 1130 - Court of Appeals, 2nd Circuit 1990
Plaintiff-appellant Saboet Azizi ( Mrs. Azizi ), a naturalized citizen of the United States, and her husband, plaintiff-appellant Feim Azizi ( Mr. Azizi ), a citizen of Yugoslavia, appeal from a summary judgment entered in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Nevas, J.) on August 4, 1989 rejecting their constitutional challenges to section 5 of the Immigration Marriage Fraud Amendments of 1986 ( IMFA ), 8 U.S.C. §§ 1154(h), 1255(e) (1988). On appeal, the Azizis maintain that the two-year foreign residency requirement imposed by section 5 on an alien spouse who marries a United States citizen during the pendency of a deportation or exclusion proceeding violates their rights to equal protection and due process. While we are cognizant of the hardships imposed by this legislation upon aliens and their spouses who enter into legitimate marriages during deportation proceedings, we conclude that section 5 is a valid exercise of Congress\u27 plenary power to regulate immigration and naturalization

Semileptonic bs -> ds2*(2573) l(nu)over-barl transition in QCD
Azizi, Kazem (Dogus Author)We analyze the semileptonic B-s -> D-s2*(2573) l (nu) over bar (l) transition, where l = tau, mu or e, within the standard model. We apply the QCD sum rule approach to calculate the transition form factors entering the low energy Hamiltonian defining this channel. The fit functions of the form factors are used to estimate the total decay widths and branching fractions in all lepton channels. The orders of the branching ratios indicate that this transition is accessible at LHCb in the near future
