On the mass and decay constant of the P-wave ground and radially excited h(c) and h(b) axial-vector mesons
Azizi, Kazem (Dogus Author)The mass and decay constant of the heavy quarkonia h(Q)(1P) and h(Q)(2P) (Q = b, c) with quantum numbers J(PC) = 1(+-) are calculated in the framework of the two-point QCD sum rule method by taking into account the vacuum condensates up to eight dimensions. We compare our results for parameters of the h(b)(1P) and h(c)(1P) quarkonia, and their first radially excited states h(b) (2P) and h(c) (2P) with available experimental data as well as predictions of other theoretical studies existing in the literature. The results of the present work may shed light on experimental searches for the h(c)(2P) state

The strong decays of the light scalar mesons f0(500) and f0(980)
Azizi, Kazem (Dogus Author)The partial width of the decay channels f0(500)→ππ f0(980)→ππ and f0(980)→KK¯ are calculated using QCD light-cone sum rules method and a technique of the soft meson approximation. The scalar particles are treated as mixtures of the heavy |H〉=([su][s¯u¯]+[sd][s¯d¯])/2 and light |L〉=[ud][u¯d¯] scalar diquark–antidiquark components. Obtained results for the full width of the f0(500) meson Γth.=434.7±72.3MeV and for the f0(980) meson Γth.=42.12±6.70MeV are compared with the world averages for these parameters, and a reasonable agreement between them is found

The structure, mixing angle, mass and couplings of the light scalar f(0)(500) and f(0)(980) mesons
Azizi, Kazem (Dogus Author)The mixing angle, mass and couplings of the light scalar mesons f(0)(500) and f(0)(980) are calculated in the framework of QCD two-point sum rule approach by assuming that they are tetraquarks with diquark-antidiquark structures. The mesons are treated as mixtures of the heavy vertical bar H > = ([su][(s) over bar(u) over bar] + [sd][(s) over bar(d) over bar])/root 2 and light vertical bar L > = [ud][(u) over bar(d) over bar] scalar diquark-antidiquark components. We extract from corresponding sum rules the mixing angles phi(H) and phi(L) of these states and evaluate the masses and couplings of the particles f(0)(500) and f(0)(980)

Azizi v. Thornburgh, 908 F. 2d 1130 - Court of Appeals, 2nd Circuit 1990
Plaintiff-appellant Saboet Azizi ( Mrs. Azizi ), a naturalized citizen of the United States, and her husband, plaintiff-appellant Feim Azizi ( Mr. Azizi ), a citizen of Yugoslavia, appeal from a summary judgment entered in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Nevas, J.) on August 4, 1989 rejecting their constitutional challenges to section 5 of the Immigration Marriage Fraud Amendments of 1986 ( IMFA ), 8 U.S.C. §§ 1154(h), 1255(e) (1988). On appeal, the Azizis maintain that the two-year foreign residency requirement imposed by section 5 on an alien spouse who marries a United States citizen during the pendency of a deportation or exclusion proceeding violates their rights to equal protection and due process. While we are cognizant of the hardships imposed by this legislation upon aliens and their spouses who enter into legitimate marriages during deportation proceedings, we conclude that section 5 is a valid exercise of Congress\u27 plenary power to regulate immigration and naturalization

3D Human Pose Estimation Using Möbius Graph Convolutional Networks
3D human pose estimation is fundamental to understanding human behavior. Recently, promising results have been achieved by graph convolutional networks (GCNs), which achieve state-of-the-art performance and provide rather light-weight architectures. However, a major limitation of GCNs is their inability to encode all the transformations between joints explicitly. To address this issue, we propose a novel spectral GCN using the Möbius transformation (Möbius-GCN). In particular, this allows us to directly and explicitly encode the transformation between joints, resulting in a significantly more compact representation.
Compared to even the lightest architectures so far, our novel approach requires 90–98% fewer parameters, i.e. our lightest MöbiusGCN uses only 0.042M trainable parameters. Besides the drastic parameter reduction, explicitly encoding the transformation of joints also enables us to achieve state-of-the-art results. We evaluate our approach on the two challenging pose estimation benchmarks, Human3.6M and MPI-INF-3DHP, demonstrating both state-of-the-art results and the generalization capabilities of MöbiusGCN
A comparative study of depression and its relationship with physical health among families with and without COVID-19 patients in comprehensive health centers
Abstract
Background: The prevalence of the coronavirus has had various psychological effects on families with patients suffering
from COVID-19, including depression. Depression can also affect the physical health of family members. This study was
conducted with the aim of comparing the level of depression and its relationship with physical health among families
with and without COVID-19 patients in comprehensive health centers.
Methods: This case-control study was conducted in 2022 in comprehensive health centers in Gorgan (Iran) among 98
families with and without COVID-19 patients, using simple random sampling. The data collection tools included the
Beck Depression Inventory and the PHQ physical health questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics
and tests such as the Mann-Whitney U test, Chi-square test, and Spearman's correlation test at a significance level of 0.05.
Results: The study revealed that the mean scores of depression and physical health in family members with COVID-19
patients were 11.56±7.50 and 7.60±4.32, respectively, while in families without COVID-19 patients, they were 8.01±4.67
and 3.98±3.43, respectively. The odds of depression (OR=5.11, p=0.001) and physical symptoms (OR=4.68, p=0.002)
were higher in families with COVID-19 patients compared to those without. The findings also showed a direct and
significant linear correlation between depression and physical health in both groups (p<0.001, r=0.44).
Conclusion: These findings increase the awareness of health managers about the prevalence of depression and physical
health disorders among families with COVID-19 patients and can help provide economic, social, and psychological
support programs for these families
