No full textKegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata Dari Rumah (KKN-DR) merupakan salah satu mata kuliah wajib di Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia. Kegiatan ini mengarahkan para mahasiswa untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sesuai keahlian program studi di lingkungan tempat tinggal masing-masing dengan tujuan untuk memberikan manfaat sesuai dengan bidangnya masing-masing. Berdasarkan survey yang telah penulis lakukan, ditemukan sebuah masalah yaitu kemampuan bahasa asing anak-anak di Kelurahan Guguk Malintang kurang berkembang dengan baik, terutama bahasa Mandarin, selain itu pengetahuan masyarakat tentang Tiongkok juga masih kurang. Di masyarakat Guguk Malintang terdapat suatu kegiatan Taman Baca Masyarakat (TBM) Gumala Kreatif, yaitu organisasi masyarakat yang bergerak di bidang literasi, budaya, ekonomi dan adat. Organisasi ini beranggotakan anak-anak, remaja dan orang dewasa. Anak-anak Gumala Kreatif mengadakan pertemuan dua kali seminggu, yaitu pada Jum’at siang dan Minggu siang untuk melakukan latihan tari tradisional dan randai. Di kegiatan inilah penulis mencoba menyelesaikan masalah tersebut dengan memperkenalkan bahasa Mandarin dan budaya Tiongkok dasar kepada anak-anak di TBM Gumala Kreatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan memberikan pengajaran dan berdiskusi secara langsung mengenai materi bahasa Mandarin dan budaya Tiongkok dasar. Pada kegiatan KKN-DR ini penulis akan bekerja sama dengan kelurahan Guguk Malintang khususnya pengurus TBM Gumala Kreatif untuk melaksanakan metode pembelajaran tersebut. Dengan demikian, anak-anak dapat mengenal bahasa dan kebudayaan asing sejak dini dan dapat membuka wawasan mereka tentang dunia luar. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah sebanyak 85% peserta dapat memahami materi dengan baik, dan 75% peserta mampu mengulangi materi dengan lancar. Antusiasme yang tinggi dari para peserta dan pegiat membuat kegiatan KKN-DR ini berjalan dengan lancar. Kata kunci: Kuliah kerja nyata, pengabdian masyarakat, Bahasa Mandarin dan Budaya Tiongko

No full textThis study aims to describe the readiness of students to take part in MBKM, especially the Student Exchange Program (PMMDN) at the Islamic Education, University of Al Azhar Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach that is focused on the implementation of the PMMDN program. Data analysis obtained from the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Faculty of Psychology and Education, Al-Azhar University Indonesia survey regarding MBKM were analyzed using descriptive analysis presented narratively. MBKM aims to encourage students to master various sciences and improve skills before entering the working world. In the light of the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the PMMDN program may develop leadership skills and soft skills of students who are able to interact with various backgrounds to increase unity and nationalism; providing learning experiences at other universities through a credit transfer system to strengthen and expand competencies; providing the experience of diversity through the implementation of the Nusantara module. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Saat ini terdapat 10 jenis genotype virus hepatitis B, dari A hingga J, dan 4 jenis serotype yaitu adw, adr, ayw, dan ayr. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan genotype dan serotype virus hepatitis B yang memiliki potensi sebagai kandidat vaksin hepatitis B. Salah satu metode yang efektif saat ini adalah bioinformatika, suatu multidisplin ilmu biologi berbasis web yang dapat mengeksplorasi berbagai urutan dan melihat filogeni. No full textIndonesia merupakan Negara hukum yang menjamin hak-hak setiap individu warga negaranya mendapatkan perlindungan hukum yang sama di atas segalanya, perlindungan hukum tersebut haruslah mengenai sendi-sendi hak asasi manusia. Termasuk juga adalah perlindungan hukum terhadap tenaga kerja, khususnya yang bekerja dengan menggunakan sistem outsorcing. Dimana dalam sistem outsorcing ini hak-hak pekerja kerap kali diabaikan. Permasalahan sistem outsorcing memang cukup bervariasi diantaranya adalah adanya tuntutan terhadap Mahkamah Kostitusi (MK) untuk melakukan uji materil terhadap UU Ketenagakerjaan yang diajukan oleh Didik Suprijadi pekerja dari Aliansi Petugas Pembaca Meter Listrik Indonesia (AP2ML) menegaskan bahwa tidak adanya aturan yang jelas atas suatu sistem praktik outsourcing. Berdasarkan tuntutan yang dilakukan oleh Didik tersebut. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini mencoba manarik relevansi antara tuntutan perlindungan hukum perjanjian kerja outsourcing pada PT.Global Security Service Indonesia Pasca Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 27/PUU-IX/2011. Penulis dalam hal meneliti masalah ini dengan menggunakan metode penelitian hukum yuridis normatif. Global Security Service Indonesia after the Constitutional Court decision No. 27/PUU-IX/2011. In investigating this research, the writer is using normative legal research methods. Basically the implementation of the Constitutional Court Decision No. 27/PUU-IX/2011whichrequires that the working agreement between the workers and the outsourcing company is not being in aformof specific time employment agreement (PKWT), but in a form of employment agreement for an unspecified time (PKWTT), and this is more effective to be applied for the labours/workers outsourcing because generally, the labours/workers outsourcing is used for the kind of jobs that is still exist such as, security and cleaning service so the security job and career development from the outsourcing workers can be achieved well. Pragmatic Case Studies as a Source of Unity in Applied Psychology
No full textTo unify or not to unify applied psychology: that is the question. In this article we review pendulum swings in the historical efforts to answer this question—from a comprehensive, positivist, “top-down,” deductive yes between the 1930s and the early 60s, to a postmodern no since then. A rationale and proposal for a limited, “bottom-up,” inductive yes in applied psychology is then presented, employing a case-based paradigm that integrates both positivist and postmodern themes and components. This paradigm is labeled “pragmatic psychology” and, its specific use of case studies, the “Pragmatic Case Study Method” (“PCS Method”). We call for the creation of peer-reviewed journal-databases of pragmatic case studies as a foundational source of unifying applied knowledge in our discipline. As one example, the potential of the PCS Method for unifying different angles of theoretical regard is illustrated in an area of applied psychology, psychotherapy, via the case of Mrs. B. The article then turns to the broader historical and epistemological arguments for the unifying nature of the PCS Method in both applied and basic psychology.Peer reviewe

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa SMP dalam menulis teks fabel menggunakan media gambar berseri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian berjenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, penilaian dilihat dari penulisan dari unsur intrinsik yaitu tema, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, sudut pandang, dan amanat. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMP IT Al-Azhar kelas VII B yang bejumlah 16 siswa laki-laki. Peneliti menemukan bahwa kemampuan menulis fabel berdasarkan media gambar berseri siswa kelas VII SMP Al-Azhar untuk keseluruhan unsur intrinsik fabel berada pada kategori cukup mampu dengan jumlah nilai rata-rata 72 yang berada pada interval 74-60. Jadi, siswa kelas VII B SMP Al-Azhar mampu dalam menulis teks fabel berdasarkan unsur intrinsik
