Speaking is an ability in a process of interaction and communication to convey the ideas and receiving information between the speaker and the listener. Speaking is the most important skill because it is one of the abilities that is needed to perform a conversation.To improve students’ ability in speaking, social media is the best tool. Nowadays, Instagram is the most used and trending social media in the world. One of the features provided by Instagram is Instagram’s video content. There the users can make a vlog. Vlogging activity involves users to record video of themselves to communicate information on a certain topic then upload it on Instagram.
The purposes of this research were to observe and to find the significant difference score in speaking skill between students who are taught by using Instagram vlog and those who are not taught by using Instagram vlog at the tenth grade of SMAN 1 Jenangan Ponorogo in academic year 2019/2020
This research employed quantitative research that applied quasi-experimental design. The population of the research was 76 taken from all students at the tenth grade of SMAN 1 Jenangan Ponorogo. The number of the sample was 40 students. Simple random sampling was applied as a sampling technique. The technique of data collection of this research tested for students' speaking. The data was analyzes using SPSS.
The result of the research showed that: the experimental class has a higher mean score in the post-test than the control class. The mean students' speaking score of the post-test in the experimental class was 77.25, while the control class was 59.50. Besides, the result of the T-test calculation showed that the value of t test is higher than ttable. It can be seen that the value of speaking Ttest is higher than Ttable (5.622 > 2.024). Based on the result, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected

added value. The internal forces is based on technological innovation and
entrepreneurial abilities (Drabenstott, 2006). The innovation is illustrated as a fuel, while
entrepreneurship is the engine. Both are a source of employment, income and welfare.
An entrepreneurial ability of local people on ecotourism activities in the Bromo Tengger
Semeru National Park (BTS NP) has developed naturally (Nugroho, 2006; 2007;
Nugroho and Negara, 2008). The people are often involved in ecotourism development
programs held by the BTS NP. The author’s study (Nugroho, Negara and Purnomowati,
2010) proved that the ecotourism activities were economically viable than the
horticultural farm.
However, these experiences have not fully produced significant benefits in the
development of ecotourism. Characteristic of the ecotourism activities is a cluster (Fodor
and Sitanyi, 2008a, 2008b), which always put the local people in a less advantageous
position. The ecotourism cluster is an ecotourism organization (Prieto, Gilmore and Osiri,
2009) that involve the local people, non-governmental organizations, private actors, the
national parks and government to produce ecotourism entrepreneurship. The result of
research the author (Nugroho, Negara and Nugroho, 2009) shows that the phenomenon
of social entrepreneurship is an important component of conceptual framework of
ecotourism entrepreneurship. This requires all parties to act to be a social entrepreneur

Efektifitas Pendekatan Pembelajaran Kewirausahaan Berbasis Andragogi terhadap Motivasi dan Kreativitas Siswa Sekolah Dasar
No full textThis article informs the effectiveness of andradogy-based entrepreneurship learning on the motivation and creativity of unggulan Boarding School Roudhotul Ulum Pilang Sidoarjo elementary school students, East Java. The type of research in this article is a quasy experimental with a pretest-posttest control design. The research subjects were taken from class V, which consisted of 31 students divided into 2 groups, namely 16 students in the experimental group and 15 students in the control group. Analysis of the data used using descriptive analysis and parametric analysis. The results of the analysis test showed an increase in motivation and creativity scores for the experimental class. Even multivariate analysis found a relationship between learning entrepreneurship andradogy approach and motivation of 40.154 and creativity of 41.246 with a value less than 0.05. In this case, there are differences in motivation and creativity in andradogy-based entrepreneurship learning compared to conventional learning models. So, it can be concluded that learning entrepreneurship with the andradogy approach is effectively used to in increase the motivation and creativity of elementary school students.Artikel ini menginformasikan efektivitas pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis andradogi terhadap motivasi dan kreativitas siswa sekolah dasar Unggulan Boarding School Roudhotul Ulum Pilang Sidoarjo Jawa Timur. Jenis penelitian dalam artikel ini adalah quasy experimental dengan pretest-posttest control design. Subjek penelitian diambil dari kelas V yang berjumlah 31 siswa yang terbagi dalam 2 kelompok, yaitu 16 siswa kelompok eksperimen dan 15 siswa kelompok kontrol. Analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis parametrik. Hasil uji analisis ada peningkatan skor motivasi dan kreativitas untuk kelas eksperimen. Bahkan analisis multivariant menemukan hubungan antara pembelajaran kewirausahaan pendekatan andradogi dan motivasi sebesar 40,154 dan kreativitas sebesar 41,246 dengan nilai kurang dari 0,05. Dalam hal ini ada perbedaan motivasi dan kreativitas pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis andradogi dibanding dengan model pembelajaran konvensional sehingga dapat disimpulkan, bahwa pembelajaran kewirausahaan dengan pendekatan andradogi efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kreativitas siswa sekolah dasar
Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Pada Satuan Pendidikan Perguruan Tinggi
No full textThe domain of higher education plays a crucial role in cultivating exceptional human resources. The primary emphasis of education reform in Indonesia is the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. This article examines the execution of the Merdeka Curriculum at higher education institutions to evaluate its influence on learning and the attainment of learning objectives. The objective of this study is to determine the most effective methods for implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in higher education, assess the opinions of both lecturers and students regarding the Merdeka Curriculum, and evaluate its influence on the attainment of learning objectives. This study employs a mixed strategy, integrating both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The qualitative technique entails conducting comprehensive interviews with instructors and analyzing policy papers. Concurrently, the quantitative approach entails conducting surveys among students to gauge their impressions of the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as employing statistical analysis to assess the attainment of learning objectives. The research findings indicate that there are differences in the approaches used to apply the Independent Curriculum, which involve modifications to resources, teaching techniques, and evaluation systems. The lecturers and students had favorable reactions to this strategy, perceiving it as a pioneering measure in enhancing the curriculum\u27s alignment with the demands of the job market. The data analysis indicates that students who participate in the Merdeka Curriculum exhibit a greater degree of pleasure and attain superior learning outcomes in comparison to the control group. In addition, it was mentioned that the introduction of the Independent Curriculum in higher education had a beneficial effect on learning and the attainment of learning objectives. By employing an appropriate methodology, a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches offers a comprehensive comprehension of the execution of the Merdeka Curriculum and furnishes valuable direction for subsequent curriculum enhancement.Keywords: Independent Curriculum; Education units; CollegeAbstrak:Ranah pendidikan tinggi memegang peranan penting dalam menumbuhkan sumber daya manusia yang unggul. Penekanan utama reformasi pendidikan di Indonesia adalah penerapan Kurikulum Mandiri. Artikel ini mengkaji penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di perguruan tinggi untuk mengevaluasi pengaruhnya terhadap pembelajaran dan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka yang paling efektif di perguruan tinggi, menilai pendapat dosen dan mahasiswa mengenai Kurikulum Merdeka, dan mengevaluasi pengaruhnya terhadap pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi campuran, yang mengintegrasikan metodologi kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik kualitatif mencakup melakukan wawancara komprehensif dengan instruktur dan menganalisis makalah kebijakan. Sementara itu, pendekatan kuantitatif mencakup pelaksanaan survei di kalangan siswa untuk mengukur kesan mereka terhadap Kurikulum Merdeka, serta menggunakan analisis statistik untuk menilai pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pendekatan yang digunakan untuk menerapkan Kurikulum Mandiri, yang melibatkan modifikasi sumber daya, teknik pengajaran, dan sistem evaluasi. Para dosen dan mahasiswa mempunyai reaksi positif terhadap strategi ini, dan menganggapnya sebagai langkah perintis dalam meningkatkan keselarasan kurikulum dengan tuntutan pasar kerja. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mengikuti Kurikulum Merdeka menunjukkan tingkat kesenangan yang lebih besar dan memperoleh hasil belajar yang lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Selain itu disebutkan bahwa pemberlakuan Kurikulum Mandiri pada perguruan tinggi memberikan pengaruh yang menguntungkan terhadap pembelajaran dan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Ringkang Jawari dance in the Performing Arts department as teaching material in the Banten creative dance course will be described clearly. The Ringkang Jawari dance as teaching material in the Banten Creative Dance course in the arts department has many meanings, including the symbolic meaning that exists in every dance movement, containing symbols, make-up, clothing, and accompaniment as well as meaningful and symbolic attributes. The name of the movement and meaning that is also found in the Ringkang Jawari dance is marked by the dancers who dance this dance using almadad, symbolizing the strength of Banten women in fighting for the progress of their region with a symbol of strength.Especially in the field of dance, in order to preserve and develop the Ringkang Jawari dance, which is a typical art of the Banten people, the author needs to provide wider socialization about the typical dance arts of Banten, especially the Ringkang Jawari dance, to the community by becoming learning material for courses in the performing arts department of FKIP and trying the Ringkang Jawari dance as a dance treasure in Banten

No full textThe research has aimed to determine the influence of work discipline to the employee performance at PT Hindoli Cargill Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin South Sumatera, the method used by the author are a quantitative method.Data collection techniques that writer do are observation, interview, and questionnaires.Based on the results of the research show the application of the rules on disciplinary violations committed have an impact on employee performance because does not know the indicators that will be assessed by the company, and timing of, in this case the need for firmness of a leader of the company to students.Problems: Lack of awareness of employees to comply with regulations concerning labor discipline set by the company such as (1) There are still staff employees who come late to office, (2) Permission to go home without explanation. Consequently the work that has been assigned to employees delayed or not completed or not realized within the time specified by the company.Suggestions: (1) So that a work is not delayed and can be realized, then the employee can start from within yourself first, after which it can be applied in other occupations. (2) Leader must be more assertive in taking action and give punishment to the indiscipline employee

This research is motivated by the author's interest in the Kliwon Friday night Mass at the Sendang Sriningsih Maria Cave, Dalem, Klaten. The author feels that the Kliwon Friday night Tirakatan Mass is a form of inculturation in the Catholic Church, specifically for Catholicism in the Sriningsih area. In this research, the author wants to look at the meaning of the Kliwon Friday night Mass for the people in Sriningsih. The theoretical framework that the author takes is to use the Javanese philosophy of life according to Suwardi Endraswara's book, Querida Amazonia Document which deals with inculturation, also from Gaudium et Spes which talks about the relationship of evangelism with culture. This research produces data that the people really feel the sincerity and solemnity of the Tirakatan Kliwon Friday Mass, even though there is no special ritual in the celebration. The absence of special rituals is not a barrier for people to meet and find God

This study is aimed at analyzing the development of the plot, and the relationship between plot and theme in Tolkien’s 7'he Lord of the Rings-The fellowship of the Ring. The writer chooses The Lord of the Rings because it has been the great novel and the best selling during 2001-2004, it has many aspects to be analyzed and criticized.
In this research the writer uses descriptive qualitative method. The writer describes and interprets the data based on the research problems.
In this study the writer is the key instrument in analyzing the primary data is taken from the novel itself and only other information relating to the topic used as a secondary data.
The writer also presents the theories that are closely related to the analysis. They are theories about theme, the relationship between plot and theme, and all of the aspects of plot that is structure of plot which contains the beginning, middle, and end. And also the laws of plot which contains, plausibility, suspense, surprise, and unity. After analyzing the data, the writer finds out some findings, there are: the development of the plot and the relationship between plot and theme of Tolkien’s The Lord of the rings-the Fellowship of the Ring.
The conclusion of this study are, the development of the plot, according with the structure of plot. In describing the whole story, the author starts in the beginning that is told the main character’s life and biography. Then middle that is showed by the main character’s great expectant, surprise, and he face conflict in his life. And then the other elements that make the plot develop are climax that is the main character has been in the top of trouble. The last is the author gives ending in the story. In The lord of the Rings he used an open plot, so the end of this story is unclear ending.
As a suggestion the writer hopes that the reader would be able to develop new ideas about other aspects which are influencing the relationship between plot and theme and the development of the plot in novel, and also the reader can used this thesis as reference for further research
Efektifitas Ektrak Ikan Gabus Terhadap Penyembuhan Luka Perineum Di Rumah Sakit Permata Hati Cikupa Tangerang Tahun 2024
No full textPerineal wounds are a type of tear that occurs in the perineum during childbirth. The perineum is the area between the vagina and the anus in women. Perineal tears often occur during labor, especially when the baby is born and the baby's head passes through the birth canal.To find out the effectiveness of snakehead fish extract on the healing of perineal wounds in hospitals Permata Hati Cikupa Tangerang in 2024.This study is an experimental Quasy research with a group of snakehead fish. The independent variable in this study was the feeding of snakehead fish, the dependent variable was the duration of healing of perineal wounds. The total number of respondents in this study was 10 respondents based on data from postpartum mothers who experienced perineal injuries which were divided into two groups, namely 5 respondents in the group who were given snakehead fish, 5 respondents in the group who were not given snakehead fish which were taken by puposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate, to determine the effectiveness of snakehead fish on the healing time of perineal wounds using an independent sample test if it is normally distributed and if it is not normally distributed, use the Mann-Whitney test of SPSS versii 25.The researcher's assumption is that after a study was conducted at Permata Hati Cikupa Hospital in Tangerang in 2024 with the administration of snakehead fish extract on the healing of perineal wounds for 7 days, as much as 200 grams must be consumed every day. The author also conducted an evaluation and made a comparison between the theory and the existing case, the author concluded that there was no difference between the theory and the case, the stitches seemed dry and had been tight on the seventh day.Consumption of snakehead fish or snakehead fish extract has been proven to be effective in accelerating the healing process of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers and has benefits, namely it can reduce homocysteine levels in the blood, prevent heart disease and stroke and can improve children's intelligence and health, and recommends consuming snakehead fish or snakehead fish extract to accelerate the healing of perineal wounds
