Manajemen kepala Madrasah dalam mengembangkan kompetensi Guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Medan
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengungkap mengenai Manajemen
Kepala Madrasah Dalam Mengembangkan Kompetensi Guru di Madrasah
Ibtidaiyah Negeri Medan dari segi perencanaannya, pengorganisasiannya,
pelaksanaannya dan dari segi pengevaluasiannya.
Dalam pembahasan tesis ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif
dengan fenomenologi. Dalam pendekatan teoritis penulis menggunakan penelitian
yaitu dengan membaca dan menganalisis buku-buku yang relevan dengan judul
tesis ini. Sedangkan pendekatan empiris penulis menggunakan metode observasi,
interview, dan studi dokumentasi. Untuk memaparkan temuan hasil penelitian dan
menganalisis data yang diperoleh penulis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif
dengan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Pemeriksaan atau pengecekan keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan empat
kriteria sebagai acuan standar validitas yang meliputi: (1). Kredibilitas, (2).
Keteralihan, (3). Ketergantungan, (4). Kepastian.
Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan empat hasil temuan yaitu: (1).
Perencanaan Kepala Madrasah Dalam mengembangkan kompetensi Guru di MIN
medan hanya dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dan WKM saja dengan tidak
melibatkan unsur lainnya seperti guru., (2). Pengoganisasi Kepala Madrasah
Dalam Mengembangkan Kompetensi Guru di MIN Medan tidak memiliki stuktur
keanggotaan pelaksana pengembangan yang jelas, (3). Pelaksanaan Kepala
Madrasah Dalam Mengembangkan Kompetensi Guru di MIN Medan terlaksana
seperti pelatihan pada awal semester, workshop setiap akhir bulan, dan outbond
guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas mengajar di dalam kelas, (4). PengawasanKepala Madrasah Dalam Mengembangkan Kompetensi Guru di MIN Medan,dilakukan secara terus menerus memperhatikan dan mengawasi guru yang mengikuti kegiatan pengembangan kompetensi guru. Dan juga melakukan
pengevaluasian dengan menanyakan setiap kegiatan yang telah dilakukan pengevaluasian dengan mengoreksi kegiatan yang telah berjalan
Manajemen Penilaian Kinerja Guru
The purpose of this study is to discuss the assessment of teacher performance. This research method is the literature review. The results showed that the Teacher Competency Standards were developed as a whole from 4 main competencies, namely pedagogic, personality, social, and professional competencies. The fourth competency is integrated into teacher performance. There are indicators of teaching skills by the teacher, namely, a) questioning skills; b) skills to provide reinforcement (reinforcement skills); c) the skill of making variations; d) explaining skills (explaining skills); e) skills to open and close lessons (set induction and closure skills); f) skills to guide small group discussions; g) classroom management skills; h) individual learning skills. In conclusion, teacher performance has certain specifications or criteria. Teacher performance can be seen and measured based on specifications or competency criteria that must be possessed by every teacher.

Perencanaan Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Dan Performa Pada Lembaga Pendidikan Tinggi
Tujuan tulisan ini yaitu untuk membahan perencanaan yang ada pada perguruan tinggi demi meningkatkan kualitas lembaga pendidikan tinggi, metode penelitian ini yaitu library research, kesimpulan dalam tulisan ini yaitu: Perencanaan di lembaga pendidikan tinggi dimaksudkan untuk menentukan kebijakan, prioritas, kebutuhan, biaya dalam proses pendidikan berdasarkan analisis yang rasional dan sistematik, upaya ini pada gilirannya diharapkan dapat memaksimalkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pencapaian tujuan. Maka, tidak dapat dipungkiri jika perencanaan pendidikan di lembaga pendidikan ini ini sangat penting dan merupakan dasar dari sebuah proses di bidang pendidikan dilembaga ini. Beberapa bentuk dokumen perencanaan di lembaga pendidikan tinggi dapat berupa Rencana Induk Pengembangan (RIP), Rencana Strategis (Renstra) dan Rencana Operasional (Renop). Dokumentasi perencanaan strategis yang tertuang dalam RIP, Renstra maupun Renop dilembaga pendidikan tinggi ini diharapkan juga dapat memberikan arah dan gambaran bagi perguruan tinggi untuk melakukan implementasi pengembangan dengan baik dan terarah. Implementasi perencanaan mungkin mengalami berbagai pergeseran karena perubahan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, perencanaan yang matang yang dilaksanakan lembaga pemdidikan tinggi diharapkan dapat disusun sehingga tidak banyak berbeda dengan proses implementasi yang akan dilakukan.
Policy Evaluation Of Post-2013 Curriculum In Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of curriculum policy in madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Kota Medan, this research method is qualitative descriptive research method, data collection technique through interviews, observations (observations), and documentation and triangulation with tools in the form of interview guidelines, and obervasi guidelines. Determination of research subjects (informants) using purposive techniques or aimed samples consisting of madrassa heads and teachers. The results of this research are the Implementation of Curriculum Policy 2013 in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Medan City has at least brought changes including, students can be more productive, creative, innovative and effective. In addition, students can also be passionate and happy in madrasah, from the aspect of educators and education personnel with this change, they can be more passionate in teaching and easier in meeting the provisions of 24 hours of teaching per week, from the aspect of management ofeducational units. Communication and resource factors are contributing factors to implementing the 2013 curriculum policy. So that the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum is expected to improve the reputation of madrasas on the one hand and the reputation of the country on the other. Then, the implementation of the 2013 curriculum policy in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Medan City can increase competitiveness and development of the nation's civilization
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
