    Evolução química e história de formação estelar no universo local

    Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Ciências Físicas e Matemáticas, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Física, Florianópolis, 2010Analisamos as galáxias do Sloan Digital Sky Survey com o nosso código de síntese espectral Starlight. O Starlight acha a combinação de populações estelares simples de diferentes idades e metalicidades que melhor modela o espectro de uma galáxia. Ele permite derivar vários parâmetros associados a uma galáxia, como a massa em estrelas, a história de formação estelar e a evolução química. A partir do espectro residual puramente nebular (subtraindo do espectro observado o modelado), medimos as linhas de emissão, das quais derivamos propriedades do gás dentro das galáxias. Estudamos a evolução das galáxias com formação estelar. Constatamos que as galáxias de maior massa formaram suas estrelas e seus metais mais rapidamente. A evolução da metalicidade das estrelas é estudada diretamente. Calibramos também a taxa de formação estelar atual medida pela síntese com a medida pela luminosidade de Halfa. Derivamos a relação massa estelar-metalicidade estelar (M*-Z*) em diferentes redshifts. Esta é a primeira vez que a relação M*-Z* é calculada para o mesmo conjunto de galáxias. Observamos que a metalicidade estelar observada tem uma evolução compatível com um modelo simples de evolução química de caixa fechada. Para as galáxias classificadas como LINERs, encontramos que a luminosidade observada em Halfa é compatível com o número de fótons ionizantes emitidos pelas populações estelares velhas dessas galáxias. Este resultado implica em uma profunda revisão da taxa de atividade nuclear nas galáxias do Universo local

    Stocks and fisheries of asari in Japan

    Asari clam is one of the most important fishery resources in Japan. The clam has been utilized as not only a food but also a recreational harvestable species. Main habitat of the asari extends from tidal area to shallow subtidal area of sandy soft bottom. Asari is harvested by hand raking or short-handled basket raking in tidal areas and long-handled basket raking, dredging, helmet diving in subtidal areas. Major areas of asari harvest are Tokyo Bay, Mikawa Bay, Ise Bay, Suo Nada and Ariake Bay. Annual harvest of the asari in the major areas, however, decreased largely after late 1980s except Mikawa Bay. Stock decline of natural asari is remarkable and seriously problematic for coastal fisheries in Japan. Along with application of the various countermeasures intended to restore the natural stocks of asari, a number of factors have been discussed to be responsible for the asari decline. Some of these are decrease of suitable habitat areas, deterioration of water and substrate quality, erosion of the clams by strong wave disturbance, new predators and parasites, oligotrophication, and excess harvesting. We still have not determined significant factors responsible for the asari decline in Japan. In the discussed factors, we compared the effect of five factors; blue tide, river flood, strong wave disturbance, infection of sea spider, and hypoxia on clam larvae, based on the studies in Tokyo Bay. The impacts (mortalities) of the factors for the total asari stock by the blue tide in Sanbanze in 2008, the river flood in Sanbanze in 2007, winter wave mortality in the three areas in 2009–2010, and infection of sea spider in Kisarazu in 2009 were calculated to be 0.16,0.07,0.95,0.30, respectively. Among these factors, winter wave mortality showed the most significant effect on the asari stock in Tokyo Bay. Comparing the properties of the estimated factors, the factors that affected wider areas and longer period with higher mortality were supposed to give severer impact for the asari stock. In order to take effective countermeasures for the decline of asari stock in Japan, further assessment of the impact of the suspected factors is required to be progressed.journal articl

    Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada pemikiran bahwa penelitian yang meneliti sesuai dengan fakultas Dakwah dan Ilmu Komunikasi, salah satu penelitian yang sesuai dengan Jurusan adalah penelitian menggunakan media sosial. Facebook merupakan bagian dari media sosial. Desertai dengan pemilihan akun yang mengarah kepada komunikasi dakwah Ustadz Asari Lateh. Akun tersebut adalah akun facebook @อัสอารี ลาเต๊ะ@Asari Lateh. Permasalahan yang diteliti berkenaan dengan komunikasi dakwah yang dibagikan melalui Live akun facebook @อัสอารี ลาเต๊ะ@Asari Lateh dan komunikasi dakwah yang dikaitkan dengan Komunikasi Dakwah Ustadz Asari Lateh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik anasisi live. Hasil penelitian diketahui akun facebook @อัสอารี ลาเต๊ะ@Asari Lateh live berkaitan dengan ajaran Islam. Adapun komunikasi dakwah itu yang di sampaikan tentang objek dakwah, subjek dakwah, materi dakwah, metode dakwah, media dakwah, efek dakwah. Untuk mengetahui dalam kehidupan.     This paper investigates the possible causes for the differences in blood colour between the Asari and humans found in the Mass Effect Universe (Video Game). Specifically, it was found that the natural reserves of Element Zero found on the Asari planet could be the reason for this difference. If the Element Zero acts as a semiconductor then the violet colour of Asari blood could be a direct consequence of the quantum dot nature of Element Zero

However, there are few adaptive methods able to automatically find the best comprise between boundary adherence and superpixel number. Moreover, no algorithm producing color and texture homogeneous superpixels keeps competitive execution time. In this article we suggest a new graph-based region merging method, called Adaptive Superpixel Algorithm with Rich Information (ASARI) to solve these two difficulties. We will show that ASARI achieves results similar to the state-of-the-art methods on the existing benchmarks and outperforms these methods when dealing with big images
