PENDAMPINGAN PENINGKATAN FUNGSI KOGNITIF dan PENURUNAN LONELINESS MELALUI MOVEMENT THERAPY pada PASIEN SKIZOFRENIA dengan ISOLASI SOSIAL di UPT RSBL PASURUAN
Schizophrenia interferes with many aspects of a patient's life, causing deficits in cognitive, perceptual, motor, emotional, and social functioning. Patients who experience social isolation can feel loneliness, with decreased interaction that will also affect their cognitive function.
There were 183 schizophrenia patients in the social rehabilitation unit, and around 25% (45) patients with symptoms of social isolation. This condition causes the patient to experience a decrease in activity which in the end the patient becomes unproductive, the patient's quality of life decreases and the prognosis for schizophrenia will get worse. This condition will increase the burden of care for both the family and the patient's place of care, and if the burden of caring increases, the quality of caring will decrease.
One of the psychotherapy recommendations for schizophrenia patients with social isolation is movement therapy. Movement therapy used in this activity is dance movement therapy and aerobic therapy. The patients involved in this activity were 10 patients for dance movement therapy and 10 patients for aerobic therapy. The results obtained after the implementation of dance movement therapy were that the patient experienced a decrease in the loneliness scale in 10 patients. Meanwhile, aerobic therapy for ten patients experienced an increase in cognitive function of 1-3 scores. This method can be developed in the form of audio-visual and the patient can do it alone without being accompanied by a therapist and being observed. So that this activity can be a recommendation for additional therapy in schizophrenia patients with social isolation
N-ACETYL-S-(N-METHYLCARBAMOYL)-CYSTEINE (AMCC) as Cumulative Biomonitoring of Dimethylformamide Exposure among Industrial Workers
Background: N,N-Dimethylformamide (DMF) is an aliphatic amide which is miscible with water and a majority of organic liquids. Due to its amphiphilic properties, it is a widely used industrial solvent, especially for polymers. DMF has been consistently hepatotoxic, inducing effects on the liver at lowest concentrations or doses. N-acetyl-S-(N-methylcarbamoyl)cysteine (AMCC) which is one major metabolites of DMF, found in urine after DMF exposure of the whole workweek.
Objective: To determine the way of AMCC can be use as biomarker of DMF exposure and the best possible sampling time.
Method: This study conducted a literature search using evidence-based databases focusing on clinical questions using the “PICO” method. The author searched the relevant articles using the following databases: “PubMed”, “Scopus”, and “Embase”. The keywords used included “Dimethylformamide”, “Workes,” “AMCC” (MESH Term), “N-Acetyl-S-(N-Methylcarbamoyl)cysteine,” along with their synonyms combined with Boolean operators. Inclusion criteria comprised studies involving workers populations, cohort, cross sectional, systematic reviews/meta-analyses, written in English, and with full-text availability. Exclusion criteria included case report, RCT, and articles with incomplete data or inaccessible full text.
Results: Based on the analysis of five reviewed literature, the author obtained insights into the effectiveness of AMCC use as biomarker of DMF exposure. It can be use after several workdays exposure of DMF (3-5 days). The best of time sampling is at morning or afternoon of last day on the workweek. AMCC result is described as cumulative DMF exposure of a whole week, and more relevant associated with the hepatotoxicity of DMF than the other DMF metabolite, N-methylformamide (NMF).
Conclusion: AMCC can be considered as a cumulative exposure of DMF of a whole week and more relevant associated with DMF induced hepatotoxicity.

The Effect of Islamic Music Therapy for Reducing Pain in CKD Patients Undergoing Hemodialysis
When patients with CKD are receiving hemodialysis, cannulation is frequently performed. For hemodialysis patients, recurrent pain during cannulation is a severe issue. Even though there have been many studies on music therapy, there are currently few on Islamic music therapy’s effectiveness in easing cannulation pain. The study aimed to determine the effect of Islamic music therapy in reducing pain in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. This study used a pre-experimental design. 61 hemodialysis patients at Wava Husada Hospital were subjects of the study. They were split into two groups: the Islamic music therapy intervention group and the control group. In this study, non-probability sampling was conducted. Inclusion requirements included being Muslim, receiving hemodialysis for CKD, using AV fistula access, and not being in critical condition. Following the intervention, the NRS pain scale was used to assess the level of pain in each respondent. This study discovered that the control and Islamic music therapy intervention groups experienced different levels of discomfort. This study’s P value was 0.001 (0.05) according to the Mann-Whitney statistical test. Based on the findings of this study, it can be said that using Islamic music therapy to treat hemodialysis patients with chronic kidney disease can help them feel less pain.

Impact of Spousal Loss on The Self-Esteem of Older Adults
Spousal loss is one of the most profound life events in old age, often accompanied by psychological challenges such as loneliness, depression, and reduced self-esteem. Self-esteem plays a vital role in older adults’ mental health, influencing their ability to adapt to aging and cope with bereavement. This study aimed to examine the relationship between spousal loss and self-esteem among older adults. A correlational quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. A total of 87 older adults were recruited using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted from March to April 2023 using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) questionnaire. Data were analysed using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. The average age of the respondents was 66 years. Most participants were female, of Javanese ethnicity, Muslim, residing in Malang City, had low educational attainment (elementary school), worked in the private sector, and were in stable health condition. The analysis revealed a significant association between spousal loss and self-esteem among older adults (p-value < 0.0001). Self-esteem in older adults is associated with the presence of a spouse. Those who still have a living spouse tend to exhibit higher levels of self-esteem. Psychosocial interventions, as well as family and community support, are essential to enhance self-acceptance and self-esteem among older adults who have experienced spousal loss.

Polylactic Acid Implant for Cranioplasty with 3-dimensional Printing Customization: A Case Report
BACKGROUND: Cranioplasty is aimed to restore the structure and function of the lost portion of the skull defect. Many materials can be used for cranioplasty, such as the bones of the patient (autograft), the bones of other patients (allograft), bones of animals (xenograft), or synthetic materials such as acrylic or titanium mesh. These materials are quite expensive and sometimes require complex processes. Manual shaping of material for cranioplasty is also quite time-consuming and prone to cause esthetic dissatisfaction. The author will discuss the case of using polylactic acid (PLA) implant with 3-dimensional (3D) printing customization as a cheap and accurate cosmetic solution for cranioplasty procedures.
CASE REPORT: We report 2 cases of skull defect underwent cranioplasty. The first case, female, 20-year-old, had a history of severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) and epidural hematoma. She underwent decompression craniotomy on the left frontotemporoparietal region of her skull. The second case, male, 46-year-old, had a history of spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage due to arteriovenous malformation (AVM). He underwent decompression craniotomy on the right frontotemporoparietal region of her skull. Both the data of computerized tomography (CT) scan were reconstructed to get 3D model of skull defect. Prosthesis was made by 3D printer accordingly using PLA as material. There was no complication reported postoperatively and cosmetic satisfaction was obtained on both cases.
CONCLUSION: The use of PLA implant with 3D printing customization was proved to be cost-effective and good cosmetic satisfaction with no complication reported following cranioplasty procedure
