Doença crônica na infância: a rede e o apoio social na perspectiva da família

A rede social poderá contribuir para um melhor enfrentamento da doença da criança na medida em que fornece apoio à família durante toda a trajetória vivenciada. O estudo teve como objetivo investigar, na perspectiva da família, a rede e o apoio social como estratégias no enfrentamento da doença crônica na infância. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, realizada em um hospital público federal da Paraíba no período de Abril à Junho de 2011, por meio da utilização do genograma, ecomapa e entrevista semiestruturada com 7 familiares de crianças com doenças crônicas. Os instrumentos gráficos foram analisados segundo a estrutura e vínculos, já nas entrevista foram seguidos os passos da análise temática. A análise do material empírico, para as entrevistas possibilitou caracterizar essas famílias e apreender as interações sociais que se desdobraram na trajetória da doença e os tipos de apoio que estas receberam ou estavam ausentes. A categoria empírica: a rede e o apoio social das famílias na trajetória da doença crônica na infância, foi construída nesse processo e apontou para o aprofundamento das dimensões do apoio social, o qual se constitui nas mais diversas formas dos integrantes da rede fornecer subsídios para que a família possa enfrentar melhor a doença da criança. A rede social das famílias que enfrentam a doença crônica da criança é heterogênea, composta por diferentes pessoas/instituições, e o apoio social fornecido por essa rede é significativo, porém, nem sempre é contínuo e condizente com as necessidades das famílias. Na fase inicial as famílias relataram receber pouco apoio informativo e de reforço por parte dos profissionais de saúde. O apoio emocional e instrumental foi fornecido pelos familiares. Na adaptação à terapêutica houve tentativas de reestruturação da dinâmica familiar e o apoio social recebido foi diminuindo, em alguns casos, as famílias enfrentaram a doença da criança sozinhas. Na fase crônica da doença, intensas modificações referentes à permanência dos integrantes das redes, associada a uma menor disponibilidade de apoio social para as famílias foram identificadas. Os períodos de recidiva da doença provocam o deslocamento das famílias em busca de atendimento nos serviços de saúde que, em sua maioria, não se encontravam preparados para receber essas famílias e dar continuidade ao tratamento da criança, manejando a crise de forma efetiva e menos traumática. No ambiente domiciliar, a rede também se mostrou desarticulada e insuficiente para amparar a família. É necessário que haja um fortalecimento e comprometimento do relacionamento entre os integrantes da rede no sentido de que o apoio ofertado à família seja adequado as suas demandas, contínuo no processo vivencial dessa experiência e provedor do suporte social, capaz de encorajar o enfrentamento das adversidades da doença. A construção da rede social desde a fase inicial e sua manutenção em toda a trajetória vivenciada pela família, é diretamente influenciada pelo vínculo que se estabelece nas relações entre os integrantes em cada encontro do cuidado. Formas de estreitar esses vínculos precisam ser elaboradas, para que se possa despertar um espírito de solidariedade e colaboração entre os integrantes desta rede.Chronic disease affects the normal development of children and also affects social relations within the family system. The social network may contribute to better cope with the disease of children in that provides support to the family throughout the trajectory experienced. The study aimed to investigate, in view of the family, network and social support as strategies for coping with chronic illness in childhood. This is a qualitative study conducted in a public hospital in Paraíba Federal period April to June 2011, through the use of the genogram, eco-map and semistructured interviews with seven family members of children with chronic diseases. The graphical tools were analyzed according to the structure and bonds, since interviews were followed in the steps of thematic analysis. The analysis of empirical material for the interviews possible to characterize these families and understand the social interactions that have unfolded in the course of the disease and the types of support that they received or were absent. The empirical category: network and social support of families in the trajectory of chronic illness in childhood, was built in the process and pointed to the deepening of the dimensions of social support, which constitutes the most diverse forms of network members to provide input the family can better cope with the child's illness. The social network of families facing chronic illness in children is heterogeneous, composed of different people / institutions, and social support provided by this network is significant, however, is not always continuous and consistent with the needs of families. In the early families reported receiving little information support and reinforcement by health professionals. The emotional and instrumental support was provided by family members. Adaptation to therapeutic attempts were made to restructure the family dynamics and social support was declining, in some cases, families faced the child's illness alone. In the chronic phase, severe changes concerning the residence of members of networks, associated with a lower availability of social support to families were identified. The periods of relapse cause the displacement of families seeking care in health services that mostly were not prepared to receive these families and to continue the treatment of children, managing the crisis effectively and less traumatic. In the home environment, the network was also disjointed and insufficient to support the family. It requires a commitment and strengthening the relationship between the members of the network so that the support offered to the family is suited to its demands, continuing the experiential process that experience and provider of social support, can encourage the face of adversity disease. The construction of the social network from the initial and maintenance throughout the trajectory experienced by the family, is directly influenced by the bond that is established in the relations among the members at each meeting of care. Ways to strengthen these ties need to be prepared, so you can awaken a spirit of solidarity and collaboration among the members of this network
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
