Disamping itu media komunikasi yang telah terlebih dahulu akrab dan diterima khalayak seperti media cetak dan media elektronik, media online kini telah menjadi salah satu media komunikasi yang mulai mendapat banyak perhatian dari masyarakat. Keberadaannya juga mulai menjadi favorit bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Memahami esensi dakwah itu sendiri, kegiatan dakwah sering dipahami sebagai upaya untuk memberikan solusi Islam terhadap berbagai masalah dalam kehidupan. Untuk itu dakwah haruslah dikemas dengan cara dan metode yang tepat dan pas. Dakwah harus tampil secara aktual, faktual, dan kontekstual.Perkembangan masyarakat yang semakin meningkat, tuntutan yang sudah semakin beragam, membuat dakwah tidak bisa lagi dilakukan secara tradisional.Alasan penulis memilih judul Media Online Sebagai Sarana Dakwah Dalam Pembelajaran Mahasiswa Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam.Karena kemajuan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi yang saat ini sangatlah pesat perkembangannya. Perkembangan teknologi telah merubah masyarakat akan kebutuhan informasi yang lebih cepat dan praktis. Untuk itu dakwah haruslah dikemas dengan cara dan metode yang tepat dan pas. Perkembangan masyarakat yang semakin meningkat, tuntutan yang sudah semakin beragam, membuat dakwah tidak bisa lagi dilakukan secara tradisional. Fokus masalah penulis adalah : “Bagaimana mahasiswa memanfaatkan media online dan Bagaimana
pemanfaatan media online sebagai sumber belajar dalam berdakwah?”adapun tujuan diadakan penelitian ini adalah, mengetahui pemanfaatan media online di kalangan mahasiswa Jurusan Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam. Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana mahasiswa memanfaatkan media online sebagai sarana dakwah dan sumber belajar layaknya sebuah perpustakaan digital.Penelitian dilakukan di Kampus UIN sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dengan menggunakan 9 orang subyek. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah induktif kualitatif, yaitu untuk menganalisis bagaimana pemanfaatan media online sebagai sarana dakwah dalam pembelajaran baik melalui observasi dan wawancara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media online mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikanterhadap sarana dakwah dalam pembelajaran. Dari penelitian yang dijabarkan dan di analisis, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa media online sangat penting terhadap sarana dakwah dan proses belajar.

No full textNumerous archaeological projects have found substantial evidence of the military nature of Maya society, and warfare is a frequent theme of Maya art. Maya Gods of War investigates the Classic period Maya gods who were associated with weapons of war and the flint and obsidian from which those weapons were made. Author Karen Bassie-Sweet traces the semantic markers used to distinguish flint from other types of stone, surveys various types of Chahk thunderbolt deities and their relationship to flint weapons, and explores the connection between lightning and the ruling elite. Additional chapters review these fire and solar deities and their roles in Maya warfare and examine the nature and manifestations of the Central Mexican thunderbolt god Tlaloc, his incorporation into the Maya pantheon, and his identification with meteors and obsidian weapons. Finally, Bassie-Sweet addresses the characteristics of the deity God L, his role as an obsidian merchant god, and his close association with the ancient land route between the highland Guatemalan obsidian sources and the lowlands. Through analysis of the nature of the Teotihuacán deities and exploration of the ways in which these gods were introduced into the Maya region and incorporated into the Maya worldview, Maya Gods of War offers new insights into the relationship between warfare and religious beliefs in Mesoamerica. Maya Angelou has authored more than 10 best selling books and numerous articles in publications such as Life, Cosmopolitan, Harper\u27s Bazaar and The New York Times.
