    IoT-Based Smart Waste System Using Blynk Application

    The problem of manual trash cans causes a lack of hygiene for users and scattered garbage due to the volume of garbage bins that have accumulated. Paper and tissue waste is the dominant waste in the campus area and is highly flammable. Due to the lack of manual trash cans, innovation ideas were obtained to make automatic room trash cans and can monitor waste capacity and detect smoke using smartphone applications as the application of the Internet of Things (IoT). The IoT-based smart trash can uses the NodeMCU 8266 as its main control and ultrasonic sensors to detect the distance of the garbage capacity and the distance of the object. Servo motor as a drive for the garbage lid automatically. MQ-2 smoke sensor as a smoke marker, a warning sound through the Buzzer and also the Wifi ESP 8266 module so that it can send notifications via the internet network. Trash cans can be monitored using the Blynk application. The results obtained in this study are that the trash can cover will automatically open when the object is 10cm to 1cm from the trash can. The results of the sensor detection of the full capacity level of the waste are when the garbage is 5cm to 1cm from the sensor. Furthermore, the results of the detection of the MQ-2 sensor, when the smoke capacity exceeds 325ppm, the buzzer will turn on and the system sends a notification message using a Blynk to the cleaning staff's smartphone

    Melalui kegiatan KKN-PPM kita dituntut untuk mengamalkan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni. Kita diharapkan menjadi motivator dan fasilitator dari usaha pembangunan terutama di daerah pedesaan. Masyarakat dapat berbagi permasalahan yang ada dan mencari solusi dengan partisipasi peserta KKN-PPM, terjalin kerjasama dalam proses pembangunan di daerah setempat. Adapun tujuan atau target diharapkan dapat tercapai adalah: (a) memberikan pelatihan office dan pemrogaman pada SMK yang ada di desa; (b) membuat website desa dan media social desa; dan (c) membantu warga desa untuk dapat memasarkan produk desa secara online. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan KKN-PPM dilakukan dalam bentuk sosialisasi dan pelatihan-pelatihan dengan melibatkan pemerintah dan masyarakat secara langsung. Beberapa hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan KKN-PPM ini adalah website dan media sosial desa dapat membantu memasarkan produk desa dan membantu publikasi kegiatan desa, tumbuhnya jiwa kewirausahaan warga desa, dan melakukan pelatihan office dan pemrograman guna menunjang sumber daya manusia yang lebih baik lagi. Kata Kunci: Program, Ekonomi Desa, Pengabdian Masyarakat, Pelatihan, Sosialisasi

    Induction motors are used in many industrial types. To make application system using induction motor, we use speed sensor as one of important apparatus to count rotor speed. Neural Network observer needs input data of current and voltage, designed to estimate rotor speed of induction motor. We expect Neural network observer replace the function of speed sensor. Neural network observer uses constructive backpropagation algorithm to learn input data. One way to improve security for data is by using cryptographic methods. RSA Algorithm (Rivest Shamir Adleman) is one method in the branch of cryptography, where RSA is a type of asymmetric cryptography that uses 2 keys, namely public and private keys. The problem of increasing the security of the public key and private key in RSA (Rivest Shamir Adlema) is that the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) method is needed, LCG is used to generate a set of random numbers to n, where a set of random numbers will be taken that have a number value prime. One method for generating prime numbers is The Sieve Of Eratosthenes algorithm, The Sieve Of Eratosthenes algorithm is a classic algorithm for determining all prime numbers until the n-number is specified. The way the The Sieve Of Eratosthenes method works is to eliminate numbers that are not prime numbers, resulting in a collection of prime numbers.     Profile Matching Method In Improving Staff Performance In Asahan University

    Asahan University (UNA) is one of the private universities in North Sumatra which has Institution B accreditation in 2024 which is led by the Chancellor Prof. Dr. Tri Harsono, M.Si, in improving quality in the field of administration, UNA always requires staff to give good performance according to their expertise. Objective assessment of job placement will improve performance and motivate staff to perform well. However, the process of placing staff positions at UNA is only based on tenure so that the performance process is less than optimal. Objective: Implementing a system that can provide an assessment of positions in accordance with their expertise. 50 employee data, diploma data, training certificates, work performance, work experience, work period and discipline. Based on the analysis of the process of assigning staff positions to UNA, there are more than 10 staff who have different positions. Furthermore, the data is processed using the profile matching method. The processing stage is through the selection of criteria and then it is processed to get the results of the analysis. Followed by calculating the level of accuracy with the results of the analysis of the UNA staffing section. The results of the testing of this method were that there were 16 staff who were very suitable with their expertise, while 28 people were deemed suitable and 6 more staff were not. So that the level of accuracy is 88%. The assessment of the test results has been able to provide an assessment of the appropriate position. but it can already be recommended to assist the staffing of UNA in analyzing the positions that are currently running to improve the performance of staff in the UNA environment
