    Artikel\ud FAISAL ANWAR\ud H211 08 522Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan deviasi pengukuran panjang organ menggunakan pesawat Ultrasonografi.\ud Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan obyek tulang dan lempeng logam. Ketebalan obyek bervariasi, yaitu 30 mm, 35 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, 50 mm, 55 mm dan 60 mm. Ini disebut "pengukuran Standar". Dan pengukuran ini dibandingkan dengan pengukuran didalam wadah pantom yang berisi air diukur dengan Pesawat USG. Ini disebut ???Pengukuran Observasi USG???kedalamandari 30 mm dan 50 mm. Pada hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil deviasi pada pengukuran panjang organ terhadap obyek lempeng logam untuk kedalaman 30mm yaitu 3,0mm dan untuk kedalaman 50mm yaitu 5,2 mm.Dan pada obyek tulang untuk kedalaman 30mm yaitu 4,9mm dan untuk kedalaman 50mm yaitu 7,5 mm. Adapun nilai kesalahan pengukuran untuk obyek lempeng logam terhadap kedalaman 30 mm dan 50 mm. Pada kedalaman 30mm dengan nilai terendah pada ketebalan 30mm yaitu 1 % dan kesalahan tertinggi pada ketebalan60mm yaitu 2,3 %, dan pada kedalaman 50mm nilai terendah pada ketebalan 50mm yaitu 1,0 % dan nilai tertinggi pada ketebalan 60mm yaitu 2,6 %. Sedangkan untuk obyek tulang terhadap kedalaman 30 mm dan 50 mm. Pada kedalaman 30mm dengan nilai terendah pada ketebalan 30mm yaitu 1,0 % dan kesalahan tertinggi pada ketebalan 60 mm yaitu 2,7 %, dan pada kedalaman 50 mm nilai terendah pada ketebalan 30mm yaitu 1,2 % dan nilai tertinggi pada ketebalan 60 mm yaitu 3,0 %. \ud Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai deviasi pengukuran panjang organ tergantung dengan kedalaman dan jenis obyek yang diperiksa.\ud \ud Kata Kunci : Penentuan Deviasi, Obyek, Ultrasonograf

    Observations Worth versus Action Learning: The Role of Site Visit in Learning

    This paper demonstrates the role of site visit in learning hydraulics in a 4th year undergraduate Civil Engineering unit (optional unit, prerequisite-pump and open channel hydraulics) at Curtin University, Western Australia through the process of action learning. The unit is divided into lectures and a site visit. Victoria Dam site in Western Australia was chosen for this purpose because the site is a combination of different structures taught in the lectures and closer to Curtin. Three guides from Water Corporation (owner of the dam) explained different aspects of dam to the students. In a week after the visit, the students sat for a test on the field trip where they were asked to answer 8 questions. An anonymous questionnaire survey was conducted immediately after the test where they were asked to put their level of agreement with statements about (i) their motivation and learning hydraulic engineering from the site visit (ii) overall learning outcome from the site visit, (ii) assessment of learning hydraulic engineering from site visit (iii) coordination of the site visit and (iv) their overall satisfaction. The results revealed that the overall satisfaction of learning hydraulic engineering from site visit was 80%. The average agreement for all the items was found 72%. The most agreements (79-88%) were found for their motivation and learning process of hydraulic engineering from the site visit. The least agreement (42%) was found for the method of assessment for site visit but their assessment test results shows that more than 62% of the students could obtain >70% marks with an average marks of 74%. The results also revealed that the action learning from site visit helps student to develop their self-confidence and readiness to take responsibility and initiative for any engineering development

Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II”, Skripsi, Program Diploma IV, Program Studi Nautika, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Capt. Mustamin, M.Pd., M.Mar, Pembimbing II: Moh. Zaenal Arifin, S.ST, M.M. Anhydrous ammonia merupakan salah satu gas alam cair yang berwujud gas, untuk mempermudah pengangkutannya gas tersebut dimampatkan sehingga berubah menjadi cair. Dalam proses loading dan discharge anhydrous ammonia mempunyai karakter yang dingin hingga titik didihnya mencapai -33°C dan titik bekunya -78°C sehingga pengaturan suhu dan tekanan harus menyesuaikan dengan kemampuan tangki kapal yang akan mengangkutnya dan juga dalam pembongkarannya ke tangki darat. Penyesuaian suhu dan tekanan harus dilakukan agar tangki muatan tidak rusak dengan menggunakaan instalansi pendukung di atas kapal. Penelitian ini mempunyai dua rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana proses reliquefaction pada muatan anhydrous ammonia dan bagaimana pentingnya reliquefaction pada muatan anhydrous ammonia serta menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian yang peneliti peroleh adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama peneliti melaksanakan praktek laut di MT. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II. Proses reliquefaction pada muatan anhydrous ammonia di MT. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II adalah pencairan kembali vapour ammonia yang memiliki tujuan untuk menjaga temperatur dan tekanan di dalam tangki. Pentingnya reliquefaction pada muatan anhydrous amonia adalah menjaga kesatbilan antara temperatur dan tekanan di dalam tangki karena keduanya saling memiliki keterkaitan atau berbanding lurus. Mengamati kejadian pada penelitian ini peneliti memiliki saran yaitu untuk pihak terminal melaksanakan cooling down ammonia yang ada di tangki darat terlebih dahulu sebelum kapal melaksanakan kegiatan loading dan untuk pihak perusahaan untuk tidak hanya mengedepankan keuntungan dari hasil pengapalan ammonia serta lebih memperhatikan prosedur pemuatan ammonia yang baik dan benar

    Blending students’ feedback in flexible teaching-learning

    The on-line students’ feedback collection platform at Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia is known as eVALUate. Four years’ data (2008-2011) from the eVALUate survey for an undergraduate civil engineering unit is considered in this study. In 2008, traditional teaching methods (teacher-centred) were used and the overall students’ satisfaction was found to be lower than university and faculty averages. Because of the students’ feedback, from 2009, traditional teaching methods were blended with flexible learning resources (e.g. Blackboard and i-lecture). The 2009 eVALUate survey data showed that the learning outcomes and the overall students’ satisfaction improved to the point where they exceeded the university and faculty averages. In 2010 and 2011, similar blended teaching methods were adapted and amended according to the constructive feedback received, and the validity and sustainability of the method were checked. The percentages of agreement consistently exceeded the university and faculty averages and interestingly, agreement with all the items in eVALUate was found above 80%. Students’ overall performance also improved significantly indicating that blending students’ feedback in teaching provides better learning outcomes

    Abstract This study aims to describe the interpretation of the symbols of misery and the symbols of loyalty contained in the poetry anthology Aku Ini Binatang Jalang by Chairil Anwar using the Hermeneutic theory of Paul Ricoeur. This study used qualitative research methods. The data in this study are poetry quotes in the form of sentences that describe symbols of misery and symbols of loyalty experienced by Chairil as a writer in nine poems. The data source in this research is the poetry anthology Aku Ini Binatang Jalang by Chairil Anwar. The data collection techniques in this study were reading techniques and note taking techniques. The analysis of this research was carried out by identifying, classifying, analyzing, and describing symbols of misery and symbols of loyalty in the poetry anthology Aku Ini Binatang Jalang by Chairil Anwar with a review of Paul Ricouer's Hermeneutics
