    Integrated control mechanism of electrical discharge machining system for higher material removal rate

    A servo control system in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) system is a control system with an appropriate control algorithm to position electrode on a particular distance from workpiece during machining process. The gap between the electrode and the workpiece is in the range of 10 – 50 μm. This ideal gap is achieved by applying an appropriate control algorithm to the servo control system of the EDM, and maintaining this gap will improve the Material Removal Rate (MRR) during the machining process. A considerable number of unique methods were proposed in the control algorithm in order to bring the electrode to the optimum position. This research proposes a new method called Integrated Control Mechanism (ICM) to improve the MRR of the EDM system. A rotary encoder is used as an additional mechanical sensor for the feedback control system in order to limit the electrode movement. Modelling of EDM is further investigated to predict the MRR parameter and optimization of electrode control position. A Neural Network system is used to predict MRR where Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Differential Evolution (DE) are studied and simulated to optimize the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control parameters for the EDM system. Research conducted shows that the proposed Feed Forward Artificial Neural Network improves the accuracy of prediction in determining MRR by 2.92% and PID parameter optimization is successfully applied either using PSO or DE. The ICM is successfully implemented and the result shows that MRR is higher when compared to the normal machining process

    Dunia otomatisasi yang terus berkembang semakin berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan kita sehari-hari. Tidak terkecuali aplikasi dalam rumah tangga, semakin banyak pula yang memanfaatkan otomatisasi seperti rice cooker, microwave, dan lain-lain. Tiramisu merupakan makanan khas Italia, pembuatannya meliputi 3 tahap yaitu pencampuran pada suhu 400C, homogenisasi pada suhu 40C dan pembekuan pada suhu -100C. Selama ini pembuatannya masih manual yang memungkinkan perpindahan mesin. Dalam tugas akhir ini dirancang mesin otomatisasi untuk pembuatan tiramisu. Mesin otomatisasi yang berbentuk kabinet refrigerator menggunakan sensor suhu LM35CZ untuk mengetahui suhu dalam mesin, keluaran sensor dikuatkan penguat selisih untuk dapat menjadi masukan ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) yang selanjutnya diolah mikrokontroler untuk menggerakkan actuator yang berupa pemanas dan kompresor sesuai dengan suhu – suhu yang diperlukan dalam proses. Proses pembuatan tiramisu dengan mesin otomatis ini lebih praktis dibandingkan dengan cara biasa karena cukup menggunakan satu alat kerja untuk pemanasan dan pendinginan. Selain itu tidak perlu pengawasan secara terus – menerus dari operator saat peralihan proses pemanasan ke pendinginan. Produk akhir yang dihasilkan lebih kental, tidak terlalu keras dan tidak cair. The findings highlight that while there are commonalities aligned with prevailing trends and standards, significant differences exist, primarily influenced by the hospital’s specific contexts. The conclusions drawn from the study, provide valuable insights for future OR design and construction projects, enabling hospitals tooptimize resources and enhance patient care within their distinctive environments

    This article analyzes the coercion of trias politica on the KPK\u27s position in the Indonesian constitutional system in Act Number 19-year 2019 concerning KPK, which the author limits to three issues: first, the background of KPK institution in Indonesia, secondly the position of KPK in Indonesia\u27s constitutional system after the revision of the KPK’s Act, and third analysis the KPK\u27s position. This research is normative legal research with statutory approach, conceptual approach, historical approach, and comparative approach. The results show that the background to the existence of the KPK in Indonesia is due to the inability of conventional institutions to resolve corruption, namely the Police and the Attorney General\u27s Office which incidentally are part of the executive. The position of KPK in the state administration system in Indonesia after the revision of the KPK’s Act has been transformed into part of the trias politica concept, namely the executive branch. And the transition of the KPK\u27s position in the state administration system in Indonesia to being part of the Executive clearly imposes the concept of trias politica which is outdated. KPK should remain an independent institution that can be aligned with the trias politica, as many other countries have done

    Building proper invariants for subgrid-scale eddy-viscosity models

    Since direct simulations of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations are limited to relatively low-Reynolds numbers, dynamically less complex mathematical formulations are necessary for coarse-grain simulations. Eddy-viscosity models for Large-Eddy Simulation is probably the most popular example thereof: they rely on differential operators that should be able to capture well different flow configurations (laminar and 2D flows, near-wall behavior, transitional regime...). Most of them are based on the combination of invariants of a symmetric second-order tensor that is derived from the gradient of the resolved velocity field. In the present work, they are presented in a framework where all the models are represented as a combination of elements of a 5D phase space of invariants. In this way, new models can be constructed by imposing appropriate restrictions in this space. The performance of the proposed models is successfully tested for a turbulent channel flow

What the author wants to explain is the existence of an independent judiciary with a government system divided between the judiciary, the executive branch and the executive branch. Of course, government with things like this cannot be separated from intervention between the government (executive) and the judiciary (judiciary).     This is a direct translation from Catalan to Brazilian Portuguese of a short story by Xavier Bonfill i Trias (1888-1939), a Spanish writer and journalist. The short story was taken from the book El Meu Poble, published in 1948 by the former Popular Library of Sant Boi de Llobregat, Spain, as a posthumous tribute to the author. Our goal with this translation is to present and promote the work of the Catalan writer in Brazil, as there are still few works translated directly from this minority language, which fights for recognition and constantly resists devaluation and the threat of extinction.Esta é uma tradução direta do catalão ao português brasileiro de um conto de Xavier Bonfill i Trias (1888-1939), escritor e jornalista espanhol. O conto foi extraído da coletânea El Meu Poble, publicada em 1948 pela antiga Biblioteca Popular de Sant Boi de Llobregat, Espanha, como uma homenagem póstuma ao autor. Nosso objetivo com esta tradução é apresentar e divulgar a obra do escritor catalão no Brasil, pois ainda hoje há poucas obras traduzidas diretamente a partir dessa língua minoritária, que luta por reconhecimento e resiste constantemente à desvalorização e às ameaças de extinção

    The development of electric vehicles is in rapid progress, especially in terms of the main engine drive. The use of solenoid can be applied as an alternative driving electric vehicles instead of a dc motor as the main driver. In this paper, the prototype solenoid machine is applied by using 4 inductors controlled by an Arduino microcontroller and the solenoid driver based on application of Mosfet L298N. The prototype runs successfully. Based on the experimental results, the greater the frequency value applies to the driver, the faster the solenoid moves. The acceleration occures due to the electromagnetic field which is getting stronger and the field is proportional to the frequency value, so the solenoid movement is faster

    Sejak pelepasan IPv4 pada awal tahun 90-an, pengalamatan 32 bit IP lama kelamaan akan habis. Dalam kurung waktu yang tidak lama untuk menambah pengalamatan IP telah datang yang disebut dengan IPv6 atau IP Next Generation. IPv6 sebagai standard baru harus mampu berinterkoneksi dengan IPv4 yang sudah umum digunakan. Karena pada dasarnya IPv6 tidak kompatibel dengan IPv4 maka diperlukan suatu mekanisme tertentu agar IPv6 ini dapat berinterkoneksi dengan IPv4. Mekanisme dasar dari IPv4 ke IPv6 diantaranya, Dual IP Stack, Tunneling, Translasi protokol. Sistem tunneling adalah sistem yang menghubungkan antara jaringan IPv4 ke jaringan IPv6 dengan menggunakan tunnel broker. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dibuat IPv6 tunnel broker untuk interkoneksi antara IPv6 dan IPv4 yang meliputi perancangan jaringan IPv4, IPv6 dan PC sebagai tunnel broker, tunnel server dan DNS server. Selanjutnya diuji dan dianalisa sehingga diperoleh hasil suatu sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk komunikasi data dengan jaringan IPv4,IPv6 atau gabungan keduany
