No full textThese two volumes constitute the second part (nun-taw) of the Syriac-Arabic dictionary of the 10th cent. physician Isho bar Ali (the first half of the dictionary had been published in 1874 by G. Hoffmann). Each Syriac word is defined in Arabic, often with more than one Arabic equivalent; in addition, the author deals not just with individual Syriac words, but in some cases with phrases. Gottheil used 21 manuscripts (from Oxford, London, Paris, Berlin, Leiden, and Rome) for this edition, and he has supplied a thorough critical apparatus; the manuscripts are described in the introduction. While some manuscripts give the Arabic glosses in Syriac characters (i.e. Garshuni), Gottheil has presented them here in Arabic script. These two volumes will be of great interest to Syriac lexicographers and those who study interactions between Syriac and Arabic.Contains an English introduction by Richard J.H. Gotthei

The sampel in this study was 50 respondents using accidental sampling technique, namely sampling by chance taking into account the readiness of respondents to be interviewed or even bt means of a questionnaire. Data collection technique using a questionnaire method with an ordinal scale model. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect between price and service quality on customer satisfaction

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses upaya Madrasah Aliyah Ali Maksum dalam membangun
motivasi belajar agama pada siswa, sejauh mana keberhasilan yang dicapai serta faktor penunjang dan
penghambat dalam upaya membangun motivasi belajar agama pada siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan
akan dapat dipergunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan bagi pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama Islam yang
berlangsung di lingkungan Madrasah Aliyah Ali Maksum Krapyak Yogyakarta. Khustisnya yang berkaitan
dengan upaya dalam membangun motivasi belajar agama pada siswa.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan mengambil Jatar belakang Madrasah Aliyah Ali
Maksum Yogyakarta. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan mengadakan pengamatan, wawancara mendalam dan
dokumentasi. Setelah penulis memaparkan beberapa metode pengumpulan data kemudian langkah
selanjutnya adalah proses menganalisis data. Proses analisis data dimulai dengan menelaah seluruh
data yang tersedia dari berbagai sumber, yaitu dari wawancara, pengamatan yang sudah dituliskan
dalam catatan lapangan, dokumen pribadi, dokumen resmi, gambar, foto dan sebagainya. Data tersebut
setelah dibaca, dipelajari, dan ditelaah, maka langkah berikutnya adalah mengadakan reduksi data
yang dilakukan dengan membuat abstraksi. Abstraksi merupakan usaha membuat rangkuman yang inti,
proses dan pemyataan-pemyataan yang perlu dijaga sehingga tetap berada di dalarnnya. Langkah
selanjutnya adalah menyusunnya dalam satuan-satuan. Satuan-satuan itu kemudian dikategorisasikan
pada langkah berikutnya. Kategori-kategori itu dilakukan sambil membuat koding. Setelah tahap ini
mulailah tahap penafsiran data.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Madrasah Aliyah Ali Maksum dalam
upaya membangun motivasi pelajar agama pada siswa melalui 4 (empat) komponen di
lembaga itu, yaitu: 1) Upaya Guru dalam membangun motivasi belajar agama pada siswa m
lalui beberapa macam metode, yaitu: metode ceramah, metode praktek dan nasehat, 2) BK
(Bimbingan Konseling) difungsikan bukan sebagai polisi sekolah akan tetapi sebagai sahabat
siswa yang dijadikan tempat curhat siswa. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk memotivasi siswa
agar giat belajar agama dengan diajak berbicara masalah agama bukan hanya memahami saja
akan tetapi dicoba diterapkan dalam kehidupan keseharian. Hal tersebut disampaikan
melalui 3 (tiga teknik, yaitu: Directive counseling, Non-directive counseling dan
Eclective counseling., 3) Wali Kelas menumbuhkan motivasi belajar agama pada siswa
dengan memberikan nasehat pada waktu pengajian sorogan. dan 4) Wakil Kepala Sekolah Urusan
Kesiswaan untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar agama pada siswa mengkoordinir dan mengaktifkan
kegiatan ke OSIS-an juga mengadakan kerjasama dengan ketua asrama, guru, wali kelas dan BK
(Eimbi,ngan Konseling) guna memantau s\swa yang kemudian dimusyawarah kan dalam acara konverensi
kasus. (2) Faktor penunjang Madrasah Aliyah Ali Maksu dalam membangun motivasi belajar

KETERAMPILAN KOMUNIKASI KONSELING BERBASIS AYAT ALQUR’AN DALAM LAYANAN KONSELING SUFISTIK
No full textTulisan ini akan membahas tentang keterampilan komunikasi konseling berbasis ayat Alqur’an sebagai solusi alternatif praktis dalam konseling sufistik. Selama ini dalam proses konseling terjadi hambatan komunikasi karena adanya kecemasan komunikasi disebabkan moral judgment antara konselor dengan konseli yang ditengarai karena adanya konseli menghindari memberi informasi yang bisa menimbulkan kritik, atau penilaian buruk terhadap pribadinya. Khusus tentang pelaksanaan konseling melalui pendekatan Islam dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan ayat Alqur’an sebagai dasar pelaksanaan komunikasi konseling sufistik. Hasil dari pembahasan ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Gambaran dimensi ‘al-maqamat’ dan ‘al-ahwal’ dalam proses konseling merupakan dimensi manusia mencapai fitrah yang terdiri dari taubat, wara,’zuhud, sabar, qana’ah, ridha, tawakal, ikhlas, muqarabah, muraqabah, khawf dan rajā,’maḥabbah dan ma’rifah. Melalui pisau bedah analisis menggunakan model Skilled Helper yang digagas oleh Gerad Egan pada tataran tertentu dapat digunakan sebagai proses keterampilan komunikasi konseling berdimensi ‘al-maqamat’ dan ‘al-ahwal.’ 2) Keterampilan komunikasi konseling yang digunakan berdasarkan ayat Alqur’an keterampilan komunikasi konseling sufistik untuk mencapai ‘al-maqamat’ dan ‘al-ahwal’ adalah surah Al-Furqaan ayat 63, An-Nisa ayat 46, Al-Baqarah ayat 155, An-Nahl ayat 125 dan Ali Imran ayat 159

Our contributors analyze this novel, which takes place largely in Germany, and several other texts by Ali in the context of world literature, (cultural) translation, and intertextuality. Their articles go far beyond the intercultural love affair that has typically dominated the discussion of Madonna. Other articles consider Zafer Şenocak’s essay collection Deutschsein and transcultural learning through picture books. An interview with Selim Özdoğan rounds out the issue.Im Mittelpunkt dieses Bandes steht das Werk des türkischen Autors und Übersetzers aus dem Deutschen Sabahattin Ali, der mit seinem Roman Kürk Mantolu Madonna (Die Madonna im Pelzmantel) zu posthumem Ruhm gelangte. Der Roman, der zum Großteil in Deutschland spielt, und andere seiner Werke werden unter Aspekten der Weltliteratur, (kultureller) Übersetzung und Intertextualität diskutiert. Author Self-Citation in the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology Literature
No full textObjective:To evaluate the prevalence and other characteristics of author self-citations in six Turkey-originated general otorhinolaryngology (ORL) journals of Turkish ORL literature.Methods:A total of 970 articles published in six Turkey-originated general ORL journals (ENT Updates, Journal of Ear Nose Throat and Head Neck Surgery, KBB-Forum, Praxis of Otorhinolaryngology, The Turkish Journal of Ear Nose and Throat, and Turkish Archives of Otorhinolaryngology) in 2016-2020 were analyzed for author self-citations. The association between author self-citations and journal types, study types, study topics, country of origin, and compatibility with the topic were also evaluated.Results:There were 265 author self-citations (0.273 per article) which corresponded to 1.36% of all citations. There was no significant difference between the journal types, study topics, and origin of the studies in terms of mean self-citation values per study, whereas case reports had significantly lower self-citations than review and original investigations. There were three citations (1.1%) that were irrelevant to the study topic.Conclusion:To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study that investigated the practice of author self-citation in Turkish ORL literature. Author self-citation rate in the Turkish-originated general ORL journals was found remarkably lower than the medical literature, whereas the self-citations were found compatible with the study topic to a very large extent. Members of the scientific community including authors, readers, and journal editors should be cautious regarding the unethical practices of self-citations
