Full text linkBroiler farming is a business that has the potential to produce and increase protein consumption for the community. Jember is recorded as a district that produces 18,718 kg of broilers. One of them is in Curahkalong Village, Jember Regency. The objectives of this study are (1) To calculate the business income on the farm of Mr. Andi Setiawan. (2) To determine the feasibility of business on the farm of Mr. Andi Setiawan. The research method used is the case study method. The object of this research is broiler chicken farmers in Kalong bulk village. The scope of the research is only about analyzing the feasibility of broiler chicken business. The sampling method is done deliberately, where the researcher only examines one respondent. The results and discussion are (1) Broiler chicken income at the research location amounted to Rp. 582,000. obtained from the sale of meat and the amount of production costs. The data shows that the total revenue is greater than the total costs incurred, this means that revenue can cover all costs incurred in the business production process (2).The total revenue obtained is Rp.582,000,000 with total production costs (total cost) of broiler chickens amounting to Rp. 437,958,000. So that the obtained R / C Ratio index value of broiler livestock business is 1.32. The R / C Ratio index value of 1.32 is greater than 1 (R / C> 1), meaning that Mr. Andi Setiawan's broiler livestock business is feasible to develop

descriptive qualitative approach. Descriptive-qualitative method is the study of

archives. The study compares the actual cases that occurred in the field with the
theories of the study of literature relevant to the problem under study that found the
caus€ of the problem.
In a study conducted by the author, the depreciation charge due to a lack of
understanding regarding the measurement procedures ABK correct charge. This
incident occurred while the ship finished loading at the port of Balikpapan, the

regard innage charge is measured but the helmsman ia carrying out the mea$urement

At the end wilt be a number of conclusions thai the factors that led to the
depreciation charge is due to a lack of understanding of the measurement p,rocedure
ABK oil and use the correct tools. So shrinkage cergo vessel that often ocsurs due to
a lack of accuracy in decision ABK temperature and lack of knowledge in the use of
the corrrct tools.

ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: meningkatkan keaktivan siswa dan
kompetensi belajar siswa kelas XII TPB SMK N 2 Depok selama proses
pembelajaran mata pelajaran CNC, dengan menggunakan media buku saku
Mastercam untuk pemrograman mesin CNC.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model
Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua kali putaran (siklus).
Setiap pertemuan menggunakan langkah-langkah: plan, action, observation dan
reflektif. Jumlah siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian ada 16 siswa. Instrumen
pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, catatan lapangan,
lembar penilaian praktik dan tes hasil belajar. Data keaktivan siswa diperoleh
melalui observasi kelas dan dianalisis untuk membandingkan tingkat keaktivan
siswa pada setiap siklus. Data prestasi belajar diperoleh melalui tes dan unjuk kerja
kemudian dianalisis untuk membandingkan hasil ujian pada setiap siklus.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatkan keaktivan siswa dari 40,6 %
pada siklus I menjadi 86,9 % pada siklu II, serta dapat meningkatkan pencapaian
kompetensi siswa dari 7,42 siklus I menjadi 8,34 pada siklus II, dan nilai rata-rata
praktik mengoperasikan mesin CNC frais dengan sistem kontrol GSK 983 MV
yang semula 0 pada awal menjadi 82,5 pada siklus I serta meningkat menjadi
87,5 pada siklus II. Cara mengimplementasikan proses pembelajaran sebagai
berikut: 1) Merancang lay out kelas, agar nyaman untuk menunjang proses
pembelajaran, 2) Mempersiapkan peralatan yang dibutuhkan sesuai petunjuk
pengguna buku saku, 3) Merencanakan materi yang akan disampaikan, 4)
Merencanakan jam pembelajaran, agar efektif dan efisien dalam proses
pembelajaran, 5) Menyampaikan standar kompetensi, kompetensi dasar, dan tujuan
pembelajaran serta penilaian pada siswa, 6) Memberikan gambaran materi secara
nyata dengan memberikan contoh praktek dan pengenalan serta penggunaan mesin
yang digunakan, 7) Melakukan pembagian kelompok praktek untuk meningkatkan
kerjasama antar siswa, 8) Melakukan diskusi dengan siswa tentang hambatan dan
permasalahan yang dialami dalam proses pembelajaran, 9) Memberikan motivasi
pada siswa dengan penggambaran kerja nyata pada dunia kerja industri, 10)
Memberikan tugas pada siswa sebagai upaya peningkatan belajar mandiri siswa.
Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan buku saku Mastercam
untuk pemrograman mesin CNC pada mata pelajaran CNC dapat meningkatkan
aktivitas siswa dan kompetensi belajar siswa kelas XII TPB SMK N 2 Depok.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
