    Usaha guru untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan bagi peserta didik dapat diwujudkan dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran biologi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik, salah satu bentuk media pembelajaran adalah booklet. Pengembangan booklet harus memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan yang mengindikasikan kemudahan dalam penggunaannya. Kepraktisan booklet sebagai media pembelajaran biologi diukur melalui uji praktikalitas yang bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kepraktisan booklet sebagai media pembelajaran biologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa meta-analisis yang dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari berbagai penelitian yang sudah ada (data sekunder). Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh guru dan peserta didik dari 5 artikel dan 5 skripsi, memperoleh persentase sebesar 89,84% dan 88,90% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Hasil dari pengakumulasian nilai praktikalitas oleh guru dan peserta didik didapatkan persentase sebesar 89,37% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa booklet sangat layak dan praktis untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran biologi

Scientific communication skills in the form of scientific presentations to students do not meet the assessment criteria so they are still low. This study aims to determine communication skills in the form of scientific presentations of class X students at SMAS IT Mutiara. This type of research is a descriptive study. The sample used is two classes selected based on cluster sampling technique. The data collection technique used is observation.     Identification of Factors Causing Learning Difficulties In The 11th Grade Students on Cell Material and Substance Transport

    Learning difficulties are the condition of learners who are not studying properly and are unable to obtain the predetermined KKM scores. Learners are experiencing learning difficulties influenced by several factors. Factors that affect learning difficulties learners are internal factors and external factors. Learning difficulties are often found in learners in following the learning process. Cell and substance transport is one of the high school class XI materials in biology lessons. In replication of cell material and transport of class XI MIA substances in SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung shows value below KKM. So, based on the understanding of learning difficulties above means the students of class XI MIA in SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung experiencing learning difficulties because they are unable to meet the limits of KKM which has been determined. Therefore, the researcher wanted to identify the difficulties of studying students in grade XI SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung on cell material and substance transport.The type of this research is descriptive research. The instruments used in this study are questionnaires and questions. Questionnaire given in the form of statements and soaalnya in the form of multiple choice. The population of this study is the students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung consisting of 7 classes with the number 231 people. The sample of this study was 70 people taken 10 people per class. Based on the data analysis can be seen the absence of the value of learners are complete after being given a matter of understanding the concept of the concept of cell material and substance transport. For the results of questionnaires data obtained the percentage of factors that cause the learning difficulties of the most high learners are themselves by 54.62%, the next school by 50.6%, the community 39.63% and the last family 30.94%

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterampilan menulis ilmiah peserta didik pada pembelajaran biologi melalui penerapan model problem solving berbasis isu sosiosaintifik. Pengukuran keterampilan menulis ilmiah peserta didik diperlukan sebagai tolak ukur bagi guru dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran agar lebih efisien dan dapat melatih keterampilan menulis ilmiah peserta didik. Keterampilan menulis ilmiah dibutuhkan untuk menyebarluaskan gagasan dan hasil penyelidikan serta nilai-nilai moral dan sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-experimental dengan rancangan One Shot Case Study. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas X SMAN 3 Pariaman tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Sampel penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan 33 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis. Tes tertulis berupa makalah yang ditulis tangan.      Critical thinking skills are one of the most important skills in the 21st century. These students' critical thinking skills need to be known so that the teacher can respond to this by considering the use of learning methods and models that will be used in the classroom. This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA at SMAN 7 Tebo in the academic year 2020/2021, while for the research sample the sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The research instrument used a validated critical thinking skills questionnaire with validation criteria. The data collection technique in this study was to distribute questionnaires filled out by students. From the research results, it is known that the critical thinking skills of class X MIPA students at SMAN 7 Tebo are still low. This happens because of the lack of students in practicing critical thinking skills, the teacher's focus is only on memorizing knowledge, and the teacher does not apply learning critical thinking skills in the classroom. Keywords: critical thinking skills

    Students’ Scientific Reasoning At SMA Adabiah Padang

     Scientific reasoning is one of the higher order thinking skills that are systematic and logical by using the scientific method in solving problems. Scientific reasoning skills are crucial to build students' understanding of the main concepts followed by the ability to communicate them to others. Moreover, it also has a long-term impact on students’ academic achievement. The aim of this study was to identify students' scientific reasoning in order that it affects the development of scientific reasoning abilities as a learning paradigm in 21st century, especially in the learning process of biology. The final results of this study are expected to be the foundation for empowering students' scientific reasoning abilities. This study used a test of scientific reasoning ability on virus material utilizing instrument adapted from Lawson (1978). The test consisted of 12 essay questions with 8 content questions and 4 reasoned questions. This reaseach is a descriptive study conducted on students from class X MIPA 2 and X MIPA 3 at SMA Adabiah Padang. The results showed that the scientific reasoning abilities of students in both classes were mostly in the low and medium criteria, in other words, none of the students from the two classes had high scientific reasoning ability. In conlusion, many students have low scientific reasoning skills. The students from X MIPA 2 and X MIPA 3 had the lowest scientific reasoning ability on analysis and argumentation. On the other hand, the best reasoning skill in both classes was found in the indicator of knowledge. Keywords: Scientific Reasoning Abilit

Based on the scores obtained by students on the research observation questionnaire at SMAN 1 Basa Ampek Balai, it is known that the creative thinking skills of class X IPA students are still low. The type of the research is descriptive research. The population in this study was all class X IPA students of SMAN 1 Basa Ampek Balai for the 2020/2021 school year. The sample in the study was determined using the Simple Random Sampling technique,where each class in the population had the same opportunity to be selected. The instrument has been validated beforehand with the validation results that are valid. The results showed that creative thinking skills were still low. This is because the teacher does not providestudents stimulate. So more attention that is needed to habituate activities that direct students to think creatively in class, either through training or with other activities that stimulate students' creative thinking. Keywords: Creative Thinking Skill

    Team Games Tournament and the Development of Critical Thinking Skills: A Literature Review

    Penelitian ini merupakan tinjauan pustaka yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Berpikir kritis merupakan kompetensi abad ke-21 yang krusial untuk dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan ex post facto, yaitu menganalisis tujuh artikel ilmiah relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model TGT secara konsisten memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Rata-rata skor posttest untuk selisih antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol signifikan secara statistik (p < 0,05) atau nilai N-Gain ≥ 0,5. Model TGT yang berbasis pada permainan dan kerja sama tim menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aktif, menyenangkan, dan kompetitif, mendorong siswa untuk berpikir analitis, mengevaluasi informasi, dan mengambil keputusan. Oleh karena itu, TGT dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa secara optimal. Kata Kunci: Berpikir kritis, Kajian Pustaka dan Team Games Tournament

    Education in the current global era must be seen and oriented towards the development of 21st century competencies. The problem-based learning model is a learning model that involves students in solving problems and offers opportunities for students to learn things that more broadly focus on educating students to be active and responsible in all fields. So, in a lesson it is not only demanded that students are active, but also creative in solving all problems given by the teacher or problems found by the students themselves. Creative thinking is a skill and ability for students to understand a problem and find solutions to solving problems using different strategies or methods. The problem based learning model can be used to increase creative thinking in biology learning. A literature review of articles related to the topic of the seven year period (2016-2022) was used for research. It can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning model can be used as an effort to increase students' creative thinking in biology learning, because the 20 research results show that the application of the problem based learning model in biology learning can increase creative thinking.Pendidikan pada era global saat ini harus dilihat dan berorientasi pada pengembangan kompetensi abad ke-21. Model pembelajaran berbasis masalah adalah model pembelajaran yang melibatkan peserta didik dalam memecahkan masalah dan menawarkan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk mempelajari hal yang secara lebih luas fokus pada mendidik peserta didik untuk aktif dan bertanggung jawab di seluruh bidang. Jadi, dalam suatu pembelajaran tidak hanya dituntut untuk peserta didik aktif, tetapi juga kreatif dalam menyelesaikan segala permasalahan yang diberikan oleh guru maupun permasalahan yang ditemukan oleh peserta didik sendiri. Berpikir kreatif merupakan sebuah keterampilan dan kemampuan terhadap peserta didik untuk memahami suatu masalah dan menemukan solusi dalam menyelesaikan masalah dengan menggunakan strategi atau metode yang berbeda. Model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan berpikir kreatif dalam pembelajaran biologi. Tinjauan artikel literatur yang terkait dengan topik periode tujuh tahun (2016-2022) digunakan untuk penelitian. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning dapat digunakan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi, karena dari 20 hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning dalam pembelajaran biologi dapat meningkatkan berpikir kreatif
