Get PDFThis article examined how the rationality of nuclear weapons development of North Korea related to the security dilemma. The discussion includes descriptions of chain reactions from the cycle of security dilemmas that create the dynamics of an arms race that threatens the stability of the region's security. The security dilemma for North Korea is characterized by the polarity of forces, historical factors and social construction of amity and enmity. Through the literature study method, the theoretical concepts of security dilemmas serve as the main basis in understanding North Korea's nuclear weapons development. Therefore, this article concluded that the security dilemma in East Asia stems from the fear and threat due to the increasing power and military capability of other countries in the region.Artikel ini mengkaji tentang rasionalitas pengembangan senjata nuklir oleh Korea Utara dikaitkan dengan dilema keamanan di Asia Timur. Pembahasan meliputi deskripsi tentang reaksi berantai dari siklus dilema keamanan yang menciptakan dinamika perlombaan senjata yang mengancam stabilitas keamanan kawasan. Dilema keamanan bagi Korea Utara ditandai dengan polaritas kekuatan, faktor historis dan konstruksi sosial amity dan enmity. Melalui metode studi literatur, konsep teoritis dilema keamanan dijadikan landasan utama dalam memahami pengembangan senjata nuklir Korea Utara. The identification begins with an explanation of some of the strategic and policy options that have been done and have not yet by the United States in an effort to stop nuclear tensions in the East Asian region. After describing some of the policy options for Donald Trump, this study will predict the right security policy in the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. The Trump policy is expected to show greater urgency than the previous United States presidential policy. Based on the assumption, through "Maximum Pressure and Engagement" strategy, Trump tries to combine diplomatic rhetoric, sanctions, and negotiations. This strategy is expected to be effective in forcing Pyongyang to choose between nuclear weapons development or its survival as a country
KOMUNIKASI DAKWAH PADA PENANGGULANGAN PANDEMI COVID-19 DI LINGKUP PONDOK PESANTREN DALAM PERSPEKTIF RELIGIUS
Get PDFMany of Indonesia's educational institutions are one-of-a-kind and play crucial roles, and Islamic boarding schools are no exception. Teachers and students form deep bonds in the pesantren tradition, which is crucial to the development of students' character and outlook. An Islamic boarding school has already carefully considered the greatest conceivable hazards it would face in the face of the Covid-19 Pandemic because of the high intensity with which it conducts face-to-face activities. Since Banjar Regency is a religious region, avoiding Covid-19 in 2020–2021 requires a religious perspective and excellent Da'wah Communication in the educational process. Faith, morality, sharia, and muamalat are common themes in the da'wah lessons taught at Darussalam Martapura Islamic Boarding School in South Kalimantan.
Due to the lack of coercion and pressure from the Islamic boarding school and the teachers, who what is obligatory is to increase piety and always have the attitude of 'Tawakal Allallah' due to the disease's origin from pigs, the results showed that preventing the spread of Covid-19 in the environment of pigs, including students, female students, and alumni, had provided information regarding the limits of willingness or ability to implement this policy. Students at the Darussalam Martapura Islamic Boarding School in South Kalimantan are required to stay home and increase their remembrance of God, worship, and murratal of the Quran and the hadiths if they are sick, have a fever, or have a cough or runny nose.

Tradisi pesantren mengutamakan penanaman kepribadian karakter dan sikap melalui hubungan kedekatan antara guru dan murid. Dengan intensitas dalam melaksanakan aktivitas tatap muka yang cenderung tinggi, tentu sebuah pondok pesantren harus dan telah melakukan pertimbangan yang matang terhadap kemungkinan risiko terburuk yang akan dihadapi dalam menghadapi Pandemi Covid-19 tempo hari. Maka dari itu perlunya pendekatan yang spesifik yakni pendekatan bersifat religius dan Komunikasi Dakwah yang efektif pada proses pembelajaran dalam pencegahan Covid-19 pada tahun 2020-2021 dalam Perspektif Religius yang ada di Kabupaten Banjar sebagai daerah yang religius dalam sudut pandang Agama Islam. Kandungan pesan dakwah yang disampaikan oleh guru-guru yang ada di Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Martapura Kalimantan Selatan tersebut yang cenderung menitikberatkan pada akidah, akhlak, syariah, dan muamalat.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanggulangan penyebaran Covid-19 di lingkungan pondok pesantren disini termasuk kepada santri dan santriwati serta alumni telah memberikan informasi terkait batas kerelaan atau kesanggupan karena tidak ada paksaan dan tekanan baik dari pondok pesantren maupun dari guru-guru. Namun hal yang diwajibkan adalah meningkatkan ketaqwaan serta selalu bersikap ‘Tawakal Alallah’ karena penyakit datangnya dari yang maha kuasa, maka sembuhnya juga dari yang maha kuasa. Selain Itu pihak Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Martapura Kalimantan Selatan juga memberikan peraturan lisan, bagi santri yang kurang enak badan, sakit, batuk/pilek dilarang masuk sekolah dan harus beristirahat di rumah saja dan memperbanyak zikir, ibadah serta murratal Al-Quran dan hafalan hadist.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
