So some e-commerce companies perform online behavioral advertising (OBA) to get consumers as much as possible. The current study uses retargeted ads as a kind of the latest OBA which most of e-marketplaces in Indonesia implement the ads. Survey in the form of questionnaire from 261 respondents. The respondents were showed by author the example of e-marketplace's online behavioral advertising picture and video first before answering the questionnaire. It is intended to recall respondents that they have ever seen ads similar to OBA. The result of this study revealed that OBA threatened consumer privacy, so led to cognitive and affective reactance. Perceived ad intrusiveness also had positive effect on perceived threat. OBA led negative attitude toward the ad and finally negative consumer purchase intention toward product which displayed on OBA

One out of four people in the world is a Moslem, and Indonesia ranks first on the biggest Moslem population in the world. Hundreds of thousands of people go to Makkah each year to make Hajj (pilgrimage). Hajj and Umrah travel agencies as providers of Hajj and Umrah packages are be- coming important in Indonesia, as their number is about two hundred agencies. However, there has been little discussion about Hajj and Umrah, especially on Hajj and Umrah travel agencies. The purpose of this paper is to identify the relationships of post-purchase perceived-value to rela- tionship quality, which consists of satisfaction, commitment, and trust, on Hajj and Umrah travel agencies. This study finds that the post-purchase perceived-value significantly affects satisfaction and trust but does not affect commitment. Moreover, satisfaction significantly affects trust and commitment, while trust does not affect commitment

Price and trust are important factors that influence customer purchasing decision in online shopping. However, the synergy of these two factors in customer intention to buy still needs to get higher attention. This paper examines the relative influence of perceived trust and perceived price on customers intention to buy, both for customers who have bought item from the store (repeat customers) and who have not (potential customers), and examines whether a difference exists on the strength of influence of price and trust to purchase intention in those groups. Data are analyzed with the multiple group analysis structural equation modeling, comparing the repeat customers and potential customers. The results of this paper reveal that there is no significant difference of effect between perceived trust and perceived price on intention to buy between potential and repeat customers and that perceived trust exerts a stronger effect than perceived price on purchase intentions for both potential and repeat customers of an online vendor. This paper also reveals that while perceived trust exerts a positive influence, perceived price exerts a negative influence on both perceived value and intention to buy

Manuscript type: EmpiricalResearch Aims: Sellers/retailers understand that there is always a risk behind online interaction (e.g., anonymity or proximity) and respond with the multi-platform commercial channel (click-and-brick). Consequently, the click-and-brick (multi-channel) retailers gain, relatively, an immense prominence and rivalry from the pure-click (single-channel) retailers. The present study attempts to measure the impacts of both retailers’ (multi and single) web-features on trust and value perceptions.Design: Utilising structural equation modelling, the current study recruited 565 experienced respondents to provide primary data.Research Findings: These empirical findings provide several insights (recommendations) to pureclick retailers in developing and promoting offline presence, thus weathering the competition from multi-channel retailers.Theoretical Contribution: Past authors propose online loyalty construct into the online consumer behaviour. However, they ultimately concluded that the employed e-service features produced insignificant influence on the patron’s e-loyalty. Instead of the e-loyalty variable, the perceived value construct is introduced in the recent study.Research Limitation: Limitation of the present study originates from the research scope, whichrevolves around customer’s perception of a real-life retailer’s brand. The question remains if the retailer’s unresolved negative performance could overwrite the perceived value and make them prone to brand-switching

This study analyzed online purchasing behavior in the hotel industry through an integrative frame- work, utilizing sets of variables rarely used in previous studies. The analysis was focused on the influ- ence of online purchase intention, perceived risk, and trust upon actual purchase, with the idea of further determining which construct has the strongest impact. It also analyzed two new measurement items for website quality. The sample consisted of travelers who have recently made hotel reservations online. The model was tested with Structural Equation Modeling. Perceived risk was found to have the strongest impact on actual purchase followed by trust and online purchase intention. The weak influence of online purchase intention is quite interesting since it stands in contrast to previous research findings. Perceived risk also perfectly mediates the relationship between website quality and eWOM towards online purchase intention. Being descriptive in nature, this study did not manipulate the antecedents in the manner of an experimental study
