Dimensiones de desarrollo local: el caso del clúster turístico en la ciudad de cartagena
No full textCartagena se le ha identificado como una de las principales ciudades del país en términos económicos por su auge en los sectores logístico-portuario, industrial y turístico. Aporta cerca del 67% del PIB departamental en 2017; La actividad turística, es una de las actividades económicas más importantes de la ciudad de Cartagena. Representa cerca del 10% del PIB en 2017 y genera cerca del 30% del empleo formal de la ciudad. Sin embargo, según la Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares (GEIH) de 2019, las actividades que hacen parte del encadenamiento productivo del sector turístico en la ciudad, como lo es el comercio, hotelería y los restaurantes, son de baja participación en el valor agregado, a pesar de ser las que mayor generación de empleo, por tal se hace necesario investigar sobre aquellas dimensiones que permiten caracterizar el clúster turístico con la finalidad de identificar las fortalezas y oportunidades de mejoras de la actividad y por consiguiente, fomentar el desarrollo local en la ciudad.Cartagena has been identified as one of the main cities in the country in economic terms due to its boom in the logistics-port, industrial and tourist sectors. Programa de Economía,2013El efecto de los resultados fiscales, en las variables económicas y sociales ha despertado el interés de los académicos que buscan proporcionar los documentos científicos para contribuir al desarrollo de políticas que trabajan en favor de un bienestar social y económico. En este trabajo se utilizaron técnicas estadísticas como el análisis de datos de panel con efectos fijos para evaluar el efecto de los componentes del Indicador de Desempeño Fiscal en el PIB en el departamento de Bolívar. Esto, se estudia la luz de los enfoques teóricos existentes. Se encontró que para el departamento de Bolívar, la relación entre el índice de desempeño fiscal y el PIB en el periodo de estudio no es tan marcada, ya sea por el período de estudio que es muy corto o problemas de especificación del modelo, a esta razón se decidió desglosar los componentes que forman el índice de desempeño fiscal y analizar sus efectos sobre el PIB departamental. Nuestros resultados muestran que el componente del índice de desempeño fiscal que es más representativo en el PIB de Bolívar es la generación de ingresos propio

No full textObjetivos: La aglomeración de la actividad turística, es decir, la creación de un clúster, mediante la innovación y la asociatividad, permite sincronizar a los distintos actores e instituciones en busca de un mejoramiento de la actividad turística del entorno, El objetivo del presente es caracterizar el clúster turístico en la ciudad de Cartagena, de tal manera que contribuya a conocer las principales fortalezas del sector. Métodos: Investigación es de tipo cualitativo – descriptivo ya que, a través de un análisis cualitativo se describe aquellas dimensiones que permiten caracterizar el clúster turístico en la ciudad de Cartagena. A través de la metodología planteada por Varisco (2007), Mantero et al. (2010) y Martínez (2011) se realizó un estudio de caso a través de un enfoque cualitativo de dimensiones de desarrollo local el cual caracterizó a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas a actores claves, la actividad turística de la ciudad de Cartagena. Resultados: Se identificó que las variables objeto de análisis presentaron resultados significativativos tanto ventajosos como desventajosos para el clúster de la ciudad tanto así que, los distintos actores han enfatizado en la importancia y la sinergia que puede generar entre los distintos sectores que se encuentran dentro de la actividad turística. Conclusión: La caracterización realizada permitió contrastar la hipotesis nula H0, en el sentido en que de acuerdo con las entrevistas realizadas a los distintos actores, las dimensiones de desarrollo local analizadas en el presente estudio, resultan relevantes y permiten caracterizar la situación actual del clúster turístico de la ciudad de Cartagena. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
