    This thesis analyzes the presentation of nuri-nuri in Karo culture, analyzes the melodic aspects contained in nuyri-nuri, analyzes the function of nuri-nuri in Karo culture, and analyzes the meaning of nuri-nuri as moral values according to Karo culture. As an analysis material, the writer uses turi-turin pulka kirik. To analyze the problem above, the author uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The author also uses discourse theory, structural functionalism theory, meaning theory, music analysis theory and music function theory to support the analysis process. From the results of the analysis, it was found, first, that the presentation of nuri-nuri must have the ability to convey the storyline along with its function and meaning. Second, the presentation of the nuri-nuri is also conveyed by an element of singing called rengget. It was found that the existence of singing as communication, emotional expression, teaching, entertainment, cultural continuity, and intellectual development and imagination. Third, the results of the analysis of the function of nuri-nuri in Karo culture are teaching, ethics and morals, filling time, entertainment, communication, physical reactions and explaining genealogy.     Turkey berry fruit (Solanum torvum Swartz.) is one of indigenous fruit vegetables that widely used in traditional medicine. Because, it has some functional properties such as antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral. The functional properties come from the activity of some phytochemicals compound that Turkey berry fruit contents, such as phenolics and non phenolics. This research was designed to identify the chemical content of Turkey berry fruit, change content, and antioxidant activity of crushed form. The research method consisted of treatment phase of fresh Turkey berry fruit through the destruction process and extraction phase of Turkey berry fruit powder with organic solvents (methanol, etil acetat, and hexane). The results showed that methanol extract of both whole and crushed Turkey berry fruit, contains alkaloids, flavons, tannins, and saponins. The etil acetat and hexan extracts of both whole and crushed form, contains alkaloids, flavons, terpenoids, and saponins. Thus, the presence of phenolic compounds in Turkey berry fruit can be affected by Phenylalanin Ammonia Lyase (PAL) activity, but not always influenced by the total anthocyanin. In addition, the antioxidant activity (DPPH assay) between whole and crushed Turkey berry fruit extracts is not significantly different (p>0.05) by t-test. It was demonstrated that the destruction process has a little affecting to the presence of phenolic compounds that act as antioxidants, such as anthocyanin. However, the antioxidant activity of extracts is not always determined from total phenolic, but depending on the ability of -OH group to donate H atoms and to bind with free radicals rapidly.     Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Ana Bilim Dalı, Yeni Türk Dili Bilim DalıDilimizdeki sözcüklere cümle içinde kullanım şekline göre çok çeşitli anlamlar yüklenebilmektedir. Bu nedenle bir dildeki sözcüklerin sayısının tespiti kadar kelimelerin çok anlamlılığının tespiti de o dilin zenginliğini ortaya koymada gereklidir. Kelimeleri işleyen, onlara yeni anlatım olanakları sağlayanlar ise şair ve yazarlardır. Nuri Pakdil, kendine has üslubu ve sözcük tercihleriyle oldukça dikkate değer bir yazardır. Hakkında yazılı ve görsel alanda pek çok çalışma yapılmakla birlikte eserleri üzerine söz varlığı açısından bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Çalışmada Nuri Pakdil'in deneme türündeki eserlerinde yer alan söz varlığının ortaya koyulması amaçlanmıştır. Eserlerin bir bölümü deneme/günlük tarzında olduğundan yazarın yaşamına ait bilgiler de içermektedir. Benzer şekilde eserlerin düşünce yazısı olması sebebiyle yazarın dünya görüşü ile edebî ve fikri eleştirileri de bu eserlerde görülmektedir. Yazarın hayatı, edebi şahsiyeti ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verildikten sonra sözcük ve söz varlığı kavramlarına değinilerek, incelenen eserlerde kullanılan dil, temel söz varlığı bağlamında değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada, eserlerdeki kelimelerin kullanım sıklıklarının tasnifi yapılmıştır. Ayrıca incelenen eserlerin dizinleri de toplu olarak çalışmada yer almaktadır.ABSTRACT The words in our language can be loaded with a variety of meanings according to the usage in the sentence. For this reason, the determination of the number of words in a language as well as the determination of the meaning of words is necessary to reveal the richness of the language. In our study, it was a imed to reveal the vocabulary of Nuri Pakdil in his essay types. Since some of the worksare in a trial / daystyle, they also contain information about the life of the author. Similarly, the author's world view and his literary and intellectual criticism can be seen due to the fact that the worksare thought texts. After informing the author about the word and vocabulary in the general framework, the language used in the works examined has been tried to be evaluated in the context of the basic vocabulary.     Menanggapi peningkatan prevalensi penyakit kardiovaskuler akibat konsumsi asam lemak trans, laboratorium SEAFAST IPB mengadopsi metode analisis asam lemak trans dengan kromatografi gas berdasarkan AOCS Official Method Ce 1h-05 tahun 2005. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memvalidasi metode tersebut melalui tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, orientasi prosedur uji dan validasi metode. Pada tahap persiapan dilakukan pengecekan unjuk kerja instrumen untuk memvalidasi linieritas, batas deteksi (LoD) dan batas kuantitasi (LoQ), rentang kerja, serta presisi pada larutan baku FAME 9t-C18:1 dan campuran isomer C18:2. Pada tahap validasi metode dilakukan validasi spesifisitas, presisi, dan akurasi untuk senyawa 9t-C18:1 dalam matriks produk pangan. Hasil validasi baku 9t- C18:1 memenuhi kriteria liniertias (r2=1) pada rentang kerja 0.0020 sampai 0.1200 mg/ml, presisi (RSD) 0.24%, LoD 0.0007 mg/ml, dan LoQ 0.0020 mg/ml. Hasil validasi baku C18:2 juga memenuhi kriteria linieritas (r2) 0.9999 dengan presisi (RSD), LoD dan LoQ untuk masing-masing isomer; 1) 9t,12t-C18:2: 1.40%; 0.0033 mg/ml; 0.0100 mg/ml; 2) 9t,12c-C18:2: 1.89%; 0.0015 mg/ml; 0.0045 mg/ml; 3) 9c,12t-C18:2: 2.39%; 0.0015 mg/ml; 0.0044 mg/ml; 4) C18:2 cis: 3.39%; 0.0006 mg/ml; 0.0019 mg/ml. Hasil validasi metode untuk parameter spesifisitas, presisi dan akurasi untuk senyawa 9t-C18:1 dalam 100 mg ekstrak lemak donat juga memenuhi syarat validasi dengan data spesifisitas (Rs = 1.2), presisi (RSD kadar asam lemak = 1.78%; RSD persen asam lemak terhadap asam lemak total = 0.72%) dan akurasi (persen rekoveri) 80.54-94.25%
