    Through this paper it will explore the results of the applications of the different teaching strategies and methodologies such as flipped classroom, high- tech approach, and active learning. And explore its impact in a selected group of students in a post conflict context. Thus, the purpose of this internship aims to enhance the teaching performance in a real teaching stage, acquire the necessary skills and help future teachers to get a tool in order to cover students and school’s needs.     Isolation and characterization of a new imidazolinone tolerant mutant in cotton

    Cotton cultivars resistant to different herbicides have generated important advances in crop management. There is a wide range of cotton resistance to herbicides, however, commercial imidazolinone (IMI)-tolerant cultivars are not available. In this research, a new mutation that confers tolerance to IMI in cotton was isolated in the M2 generation after seed mutagenic treatments with sodium azide water solutions. The mode of inheritance of the trait was evaluated in the F2 generation by the application of imazethapyr. The inheritance corresponds to a semi-dominant type, with a 1:2:1 distribution off tolerant: intermediate tolerance: not tolerant, in agreement with that observed in most IMI tolerant crops. The IMI-tolerant line behavior was evaluated in the field nursery after the application of the herbicide in the form of foliar and pre-emergence sprays. The tolerance level was high in pre-emergence applications and intermediate in foliar applications in comparison to the non-tolerant genotype, which showed a decrease in fiber yield and quality with both methods of application. After sequencing the AHAS gene, a point mutation corresponding to Ala205Val in the AHAS enzyme was found, which suggests it could be responsible for the increased IMI tolerance observed in cotton line SP 4172-32. Based on results from field assays it can be concluded that this mutant is a promising experimental line that can be used in obtaining IMI tolerant commercial cotton cultivars.EEA Sáenz PeñaFil: Tcach, Mauricio Alfredo.     Este estudio valora los avances en el aprendizaje del pensamiento numérico variacional y la resolución de problemas matemáticos, tomando como referencia la propuesta de intervención pedagógica en el marco de las Instituciones Educativas Marco Fidel Suárez y Santa Fe de los departamentos de Antioquia y Córdoba - Colombia. Centrándose metodológicamente, en un enfoque de investigación cuantitativa con diseño cuasiexperimental. Para lo cual, se propone un método empírico analítico con una muestra de 77 estudiantes que tienen un rango de edad promedio entre 07 y 10 años. Desde esta base metodológica, se ha implementado un conjunto de procesos sistemáticos, empíricos y críticos de investigación e implican la recolección y el análisis de datos cuantitativos. En este sentido, los hallazgos de esta investigación giran en torno al desarrollo de problemas multiplicativos. Por ello, se inicia con una revisión documental para determinar el nivel de pensamiento numérico variacional en los estudiantes de básica primaria. Por último, las conclusiones derivan que la educación matemática debe tributar a procesos de formación integral con prácticas educativas innovadoras y eficaces en torno al aprendizaje efectiva de las competencias de razonamiento, ejercitación y resolución de problemas matemáticos.The study assesses the progress in the learning of numerical variational thinking and mathematical problem solving, taking as a reference the pedagogical intervention proposal in the framework of Marco Fidel Suárez and Santa Fe Schools in departments of Antioquia and Córdoba - Colombia. Methodologically focusing on a quantitative research approach with a quasi-experimental design. For which, an analytical empirical method is proposed with a sample of 77 students with an average age range between 07 and 10 years old. From this methodological basis, a set of systematic, empirical, and critical research processes have been implemented and involve the collection and analysis of quantitative data. In this sense, the findings of this research revolve around the development of multiplicative problems. Therefore, it begins with a documentary review to determine the level of numerical variational thinking in elementary school students.     El desarrollo de la etapa de las prácticas profesionales permite al estudiante de ingeniería de telecomunicaciones de la universidad Santo Tomas afianzar y demostrar los conocimientos adquiridos a lo largo de los 10 semestres de carrera. Con el fin de exponer los conocimientos adquiridos, el desarrollo profesional y el desempeño demostrado por el autor, se ha realizado un documento donde sintetice con mayor detalle posible las etapas y las actividades desarrolladas por el autor en el departamento de inversiones internacionales del Banco de la República de Colombia. Se hace una revisión de los 3 informes presentados y enviados a la universidad donde se enuncian las actividades desarrolladas en cierto periodo de tiempo, se detallan las herramientas utilizadas y cuáles son sus usos e importancia en el desempeño del departamento, también se detalla otras tareas desarrolladas en los 6 meses de ejecución de prácticas en lo que tiene que ver con operatividad, documentación y revisión de los sistemas. Al finalizar este documento, se entenderá el papel que desarrolló el autor como practicante en el departamento de inversiones internacionales del Banco de la Republica.The development of the phase of professional practices allows telecommunication engineering students of Santo Tomas university secure and show the knowledge earned around the 10 semesters of career.     Using genre based approach and comics to improve reading comprehension

    Reading comprehension is an important skill on EFL teaching process, this skill represents understanding of text. This study conducted and action research to explore how the use of genrebased approach and comics encouraged 7th grader’s reading comprehensions skill in a public school in Monteria, Cordoba. This qualitative study uses different techniques to collect data and create the intervention plan, following the action research cycle. Findings of this research demonstrate that students positively improve their reading skill after the application of Genre Based approach and comic, students were able to make critical inferences of the comics analyzed during each stage of the GBA: Modeling, Joint construction, and independent construction of the text. The results demonstrate that students not only improve this skill, also the obtain an enhance o their writing skill, vocabulary acquisition and engagement during English classes.     Verificación del método analítico para la determinación de color real en muestras de agua de acuerdo a la norma ISO 7887 del 2011

    La medición del color del agua se refiere a la evaluación de la apariencia cromática de una muestra de agua. El color del agua puede variar desde transparente hasta una amplia gama de tonalidades dependiendo de diversos factores. Por ende, su cuantificación es importante para determinar la calidad del agua y detectar posibles contaminantes, (Benito, Suarez., 2022). El propósito del presente trabajo es verificar el método analítico para la determinación de color real empleando 3 longitudes de onda siguiendo la normativa ISO 7887 de 2011 método B en muestras de matriz agua. El proceso se llevó a cabo evaluando la linealidad e intervalo de trabajo, límite de cuantificación, límite de detección, exactitud en el cual se obtuvo un porcentaje de recuperación del 99 y 100% para cada longitud de onda estimada. Asimismo, se evaluó la precisión obteniendo un coeficiente de varianza menor que el 15% cumpliendo con el criterio de aceptación. Se demostró mediante pruebas estadísticas confirmatorias que el método cumple con los requisitos previstos bajo la normativa descrita, garantizando resultados confiables y precisos. Se concluyó que la empresa de control y gestión ambiental S.A.S de Santander, cumple con los requisitos para ejecutar el método y hacerlo de uso rutinario para muestras de agua continental (Agua residual domestica, no domestica, superficial, potable y de uso recreacional).Water color measurement refers to the evaluation of the chromatic appearance of a water sample. The color of water can vary from transparent to a wide range of shades depending on various factors. Therefore, its quantification is important to determine water quality and detect possible contaminants (Benito, Suarez.,2022). The purpose of this work is to verify the analytical method for the determination of real color using 3 wavelengths following the ISO 7887 of 2011 method B in water matrix samples. The process was carried out by evaluating the linearity and working interval, quantification limit, detection limit, accuracy in which a recovery percentage of 99 and 100% was obtained for each estimated wavelength. Likewise the accuracy was evaluated, obtaining a coefficient of variance less than 15%, complying with the acceptance criteria. It was demonstrated through confirmatory statistical tests that the method complies with the requirements under the described regulations, guaranteeing reliable and accurate results.It was concluded that the environmental control and management company S.A.S of Santander,meets the requirements to execute the method and make it for routine use for continental water simples (domestic, non domestic, surface, potable and recreational water).1.
