The article is devoted to the study school programs of physical education in high schools of South of Ukraine in the second half of XIX-th – beginning of XX-th century. On example of gymnasiums Kherson province was analyzed programmatic-methodological support to the process of physical education. Concluded that in the pre-revolutionary period there was no unified educational programs of physical education. The main documents that used during the lessons were author programs which compiled by teachers of gymnastics based on various gymnastic systems.
The presented scientific research examines the two earliest interpretations of the poetic heart of the Ukrainian mentality, symbolic in view of the names of the composers and the history of the premieres - these are "Testaments" by Mykhailo Verbytskyi and Mykola Lysenko, which reflect the two mental sides of Ukrainianness, and whose authors, together with T. Shevchenko, became the creators of the national romantic vision, which we are trying to grasp to this day. "Testament" has a special symbolic meaning for the work of the priest and composer M. Verbytskyi, almost the same age as T. Shevchenko, who created this musical canvas two years before his own death. The romantic cantata-poem for baritone, mixed and male choir with orchestra combines the traditions of D. Bortnyansky and the new, Western European trends, which can be seen in the advanced symphonic development from the extended introduction throughout the work. The conceptuality of M. Lysenko's "Testament" is revealed in the transmission of the author-poet's appeal ‒ "from the first person" ‒ to all of us. M. Lysenko places the concept of the work in a nationalspiritual context, combining the features of folk and spiritual types of singing, and in this we see a vivid example of the embodiment of supraindividual, ethically exalted, confessional patho
Deployment of High Energy Physics software with a standard method
The installation and maintenance of scientific software for research in experimental, phenomenological, and theoretical High Energy Physics (HEP) requires a considerable amount of time and expertise. While many tools are available to make the task of installation and maintenance much easier, many of these tools require maintenance on their own, have little documentation and very few are used outside of HEP community. For the installation and maintenance of the software, we rely on the well tested, extensively documented, and reliable stack of software management tools with the RPM Package Manager (RPM) at its core. The precompiled HEP software packages can be deployed easily and without detailed Linux system knowledge and are kept up-to-date through the regular system update process. The precompiled packages were tested on multiple installations of openSUSE, RHEL clones, and Fedora. As the RPM infrastructure is adopted by many Linux distributions, the approach can be used on more systems. In this contribution, we discuss our approach to software deployment in detail, present the software repositories for multiple RPM-based Linux distributions to a wider public and call for a collaboration for all the interested parties
Measurements of jet rates with the anti- and SiScone algorithms at LEP with the OPAL detector
We study jet production in annihilation to hadrons with data recorded by the OPAL experiment at LEP at centre-of-mass energies between 90 GeV and 207 GeV. The jet production rates were measured for the first time with the anti- and SiScone jet clustering algorithms. We compare the data with predictions by modern Monte Carlo event generators
