Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
La dirección organizacional y el cambio en el personal de la Institución Educativa N° 21015 – Mala - 2020
No full textLa presente investigación tuvo como objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe
entre La dirección organizacional y el cambio cultural en el personal de la Institución
Educativa N° 21015 –Mala-2020. La investigación realizada fue de enfoque cuantitativo,
de tipo aplicada, con un diseño no experimental – transversal – correlacional con dos
variables. La población objeto de estudio estuvo conformado por 30 administrativos y 30
docentes de la institución educativa Nº21015-mala-2020.
Se utilizó la encuesta como técnica de recopilación de datos de las variables La
dirección organizacional y el cambio cultural; se empleó como instrumento el
cuestionario para ambas variables. Los instrumentos fueron sometidos a la validez de
contenido a través del juicio de tres expertos con un resultado de aplicable y el valor de la
confiabilidad fue con la prueba Alfa de Cronbach con coeficientes de 0,817 para el
cuestionario La dirección organizacional y 0,858 para el cuestionario de cambio cultural,
indicándonos una muy alta confiabilidad. Los resultados de la investigación indicaron
que: Existió relación significativa La dirección organizacional y el cambio cultural en el
personal de la Institución Educativa N° 21015 –Mala-2020.The present research had the objective: To determine the relationship that exists between organizational direction and cultural change in the staff of Educational Institution No. 21015 -Mala-2020. The research carried out was quantitative, applied, with a non-experimental - cross-sectional - correlational design with two variables. The object of study consisted of 30 administrators and 30 teachers from educational institution No. 21015-mala-2020. The survey was used as a data collection technique for the variables organizational direction and cultural change; the questionnaire was used as an instrument for both variables. The instruments were subjected to content validity through the judgment of three experts with a result of applicable and the reliability value was with the Cronbach's Alpha test with coefficients of 0.817 for the organizational direction questionnaire and 0.858 for the cultural change questionnaire, indicating a very high reliability. The results of the research indicated that: There was a significant relationship between organizational direction and cultural change in the staff of Educational Institution No. 21015 –Mala-2020

No full textLa investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar la relación entre la Ética
profesional y la gestión pedagógica en los docentes en la I.E. N° 21015. UGEL 08
- Cañete 2017.
El método empleado en la investigación fue el hipotético-deductivo, desde
un enfoque cuantitativo. La investigación es de tipo básica porque se apoya en
un contexto teórico para conocer, describir, relacionar o explicar una realidad. La
investigación se enmarcó dentro del diseño no experimental, transversal
correlacional, porque no se realizará experimento alguno, es decir no existirá
manipulación de las variables. La población estuvo conformada por los docentes
de la I.E. N° 21015. UGEL 08 - Cañete 2017, y la muestra estuvo conformada por
un grupo experimental de 20 docentes, el muestreo es no probabilístico, la técnica
utilizada es de la encuesta para la recolección de datos y son dos instrumento de
cuestionario con 20 items, de ética profesional y 21 items de gestión pedagógica.
Se utilizó la prueba de coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach para la confiabilidad del
indica que existe relación positiva entre las variables además se encuentra en el
nivel de correlación moderada y siendo el nivel de significancia bilateral

De los resultados obtenidos, se afirma que existe relación entre la Ética
profesional y la gestión pedagógica en los docentes en la I.E. N° 21015. UGEL 08

Variations on the Author
No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

No full textLa tesis “Influencia de los textos significativos en la comprensión lectora en
estudiantes del 5° grado de educación primaria de la I. E. N° 21015 – Mala,
2011”, tuvo como problema general ¿Qué influencia tienen los textos significativos
en la comprensión lectora de los estudiantes del 5° grado de educación primaria
de la I.E. N° 21015 – Mala, 2011?, y como objetivo general: determinar la
influencia de los textos significativos en la comprensión lectora de los estudiantes
del 5° grado de educación primaria.
La investigación realizada fue de tipo aplicativo, de diseño cuasi
experimental, paramétrico, descriptivo con un enfoque cuantitativo. La población
estuvo conformada por 231 y la muestra por 72 estudiantes del nivel primario,
bajo el muestreo no probabilístico. Los instrumentos de recolección de datos
fueron validados por juicio de expertos y su confiabilidad mediante el coeficiente
alfa de Crombach, cuyo valor fue 0.79.
Se utilizó la prueba estadística: T de Student. Por lo que se concluye: los
textos significativos influyen positivamente en la comprensión lectora de los
estudiantes del 5° grado de educación primaria en la I.E. 21015 – Mala, al existir
evidencia de la diferencia positiva de 11,17% por parte del grupo experimental
frente al grupo de control
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
No full textWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
No full textWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
