NOV. <p>FIGURES 5, 6, TABLES 1, 3</p> <p> <i>Holotype:</i> Northern Territory, Arafura Sea, NTM W21072, 9°23′6″S, 134°10.37″E, 88 m.</p> <p> <i>Paratypes:</i> Northern Territory, Arafura Sea, NTM W21073, 9 °50′118″S, 134°17′762″E, 83 m (one spec.); AM W34017, 9°47′59″S, 135°22′00″E, in foraminifera and dead mollusc shells bottom, 92 m, 1.v.2005 (one spec. on a SEM pin); AM W34019, 9°22′52″S, 133°39′53″E, bioturbated soft bottom with detritus, 112 m, 13.v.2005 (one spec.); AM W34020, 9°01′50″S, 133°15′01″E, bioturbated soft bottom with detritus, 233 m, 20.v.2005 (one spec.).</p> <p> <i>Description of holotype:</i> Body cylindrical, 28 mm long, 0.6 mm wide, with 31 segments. Head elongated, truncated anteriorly (Figs 5A–D, 6A–D), with terminal mouth extending midventrally as a short slit (Figs 5D, 6B) and a pair of ventrolateral brownish eyespots (Fig. 5C, D). Ventral pharyngeal organ observed (Fig. 6E). A groove present between first and second segments except for a short dorsal portion (Figs 5C, D, 6B–D). Anterior three segments uniramous, each with notochaetae only and second slightly longer than first and third (RLUS = 1:1.5:1). Oesophageal commissures evident as a white ventral longitudinal band with Y shape in anterior segments (Fig. 5D). Anterior biramous segments five to six times longer than wide. Second biramous chaetiger (segment 5) about 1.5 times longer than first biramous (segment 4); segment 8 the longest, being about four times longer than segment 4. Capillary notochaetae of each fascicle decreasing in length ventrally (Fig. 6F), with proximal third smooth and distal end ornamented with scales. Acicular chaetae absent. Neurochaetae present from chaetiger 4, arranged on long and broad ventral tori (Fig. 6G) with uncini arranged in 12–16 irregular transverse rows; each uncinus provided with two curved teeth nearly equal in size, arranged in a slight oblique row (Fig. 6H). Pygidium with seven short digitiform lobes (Fig. 5E–G) surrounding two papillae, located at both sides of the anus opening in the middle of the pygidium (Fig. 5F, G). Tube made out of shell fragments and sponge spicules overlapping like roof tiles (Fig. 5H). Colour in alcohol brownish or pale yellow, anterior body region with brown-red pigmented areas (Fig. 5A–D).</p> <p> <i>Variation:</i> Only the holotype and one paratype (NTM W21073) are complete. Remaining specimens of similar width (0.6–0.8 mm) and pigmentation pattern. Some slight variation was observed on the relative length of the uniramous segments (Figs 5B vs. 6B). The pygidium of the paratype is also provided with seven digitiform lobes but this number could vary within the species as it does in other <i>Galathowenia</i> species (see below and Table 3). Incomplete specimens show filamentous prolongations of the tegument associated with the broken posterior ends (Fig. 5I). We interpreted them as ‘regeneration processes’ and they have also been found in other oweniids (see also for <i>Myriowenia</i> sp. below).</p> <p> <i>Ecological notes:</i> The specimens were found only in the Arafura Sea (Fig. 14), in soft bottoms composed of foraminifera, dead molluscs, and detritus at depths between 92– 233 m.</p> <p> <i>Etymology:</i> This species is named after the Arafura Sea where the type specimens were collected.</p> <p>*Even though no type material was studied, it is probable that this species was described from incomplete specimens lacking the head and first segment (see also note† for evidence in other species) and therefore the longest segment is not the third but the fourth (second biramous).</p> <p>†Although in the original description it was reported that the third segment is the longest, it has been demonstrated that specimens described were incomplete (Parapar, 2001: 408) and that it corresponds to segment 4.</p> <p>‡According to Parapar (2001).</p> <p>§The author mentions a darker anterior region but does not indicate any particular pigment pattern.</p> <p>RLUS, relative length of uniramous segments.</p> <p> <i>Remarks: Galathowenia arafurensis</i> sp. nov. shares with some other species of <i>Galathowenia</i> the presence of a pygidium provided with multiple lobes. These species are <i>Galathowenia pygidialis</i> (Hartman, 1960) from the Eastern Tropical Pacific, <i>Galathowenia scotiae</i> (Hartman, 1978) from Antarctica, <i>Galathowenia fragilis</i> Nilsen & Holthe, 1985 with boreal distribution, and <i>Galathowenia joinvillensis</i> (Hartmann- Schröder & Rosenfeldt, 1989), also from Antarctica. <i>Galathowenia arafurensis</i> sp. nov. differs from <i>G. pygidialis</i> in the arrangement of uncinal teeth, as <i>G. pygidialis</i> is the only species of the genus that has a side by side arrangement whereas in the rest of the species, including the one described herein, they are oblique. <i>Galathowenia joinvillensis</i> differs from the new species and others in the genus in the presence of only two uniramous segments instead of three. In addition, <i>G. arafurensis</i> sp. nov. is distinguished from this species and <i>G. fragilis</i> and <i>G. scotiae</i> by the presence of eyes, a pigmented anterior end and the presence of an unusual elongated segment 8, measuring around 20 times the length of the uniramous ones, three features absent in the three previously described species. The differences between <i>G. arafurensis</i> sp. nov. and other Australian species of <i>Galathowenia</i> described in the present study include the body size (more robust and broader in <i>G. arafurensis</i>), shape of the pygidium, the relative length of the anterior segments (RLUS), and pigment pattern of the anterior end. A species described from Indonesia, <i>Myriochele eurystoma</i> Caullery, 1944, that clearly belongs to the genus <i>Galathowenia</i> because of the shape of the prostomium, presence of ventral slit, and a groove between the head and the first segment and also between the first and the second one (Caullery, 1944: fig. 42A–D; Gibbs, 1971: fig. 15A), seems to share some features with <i>G. arafurensis</i> sp. nov. Nevertheless, the animals described were incomplete, lacking the pygidium, and the description is too poor for a complete comparison with the Australian material. This material was unavailable for study but a future comparison between the two species would be of interest.</p>Published as part of <i>Capa, Maria, Parapar, Julio & Hutchings, Pat, 2012, Phylogeny of Oweniidae (Polychaeta) based on morphological data and taxonomic revision of Australian fauna, pp. 236-278 in Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society 166 (2)</i> on pages 248-252, DOI: 10.1111/j.1096-3642.2012.00850.x, <a href="http://zenodo.org/record/5408795">http://zenodo.org/record/5408795</a&gt

Ühtlasi juurutab see ettevõttes protsessipõhist lähenemist probleemide lahendamisele. Uuritav ettevõte on pika kvaliteedijuhtimis kogemusega, mille tõestuseks on alatest aastast 2005 omandatud ISO 9001 sertifikaat. Täites võtmekliendihalduri ametikohustusi oli just autori portfelli kuuluv klient hakanud kaebama Nefabi poolt pakutavate kahekihiliste lainepapptoodete kvaliteedi üle, esitades 2019. aasta esimeses kvartalis 12 mittevastavust kahjusummas 6840 eurot. Antud tegevuste tulemusena suudeti parandada terve eelmainitud tooterühma kvaliteeti. Seisuga 31.12.2019 pole kliendi poolt esitatud ühtegi uut reklamatsiooni varasemalt probleemseteks määratletud toodete kohta. Autori kogemusele ja arvutustele põhinedes on ettevõtte saadav tulu tänu probleemi lahendamisele läbi CAPA protsessi 63 772 eurot. Saadud summa baseerub tõenäolisel riskil, et Nefab oleks kaotanud ebakvaliteetsete toodete müügikäibe täielikult ja klient oleks Nefabi asendanud teise tarnijaga. Otsesest rahalisest kasust olulisemaks peab aga töö autor hea kliendisuhte hoidmist ja omavahelise usaldusväärse tõstmist, sest olles otseses suhtluses kliendiga saadi väga positiivset tagasisidet seoses initsatiivi võtmisega ja probleemi eduka lahendamisega. Tänu heale kliendisuhte hoidmisele on Nefab suutnud võita mitmeid kliendile tehtud hinnapakkumisi, kus poldud kõige odavam pakkuja. See ilmestab hästi töö alguses välja toodud mõtet, et kliendid on valmis maksma mõnevõrra kõrgemat hinda tarnijale kellega on loodud usaldusväärne ja positiivne partnerlussuhe.Every company in modern economy must make effort to keep their key customers satisfied as they are the ones who bring in most of the profit. Positive relationships with your business partners also attract new clients making it the most powerful marketing tool. But how to keep your clients happy and satisfied? You make effort to fill their requirments with your products or services. In other words you provide them with quality and constantly seek ways to improve it. Keyword for continuous quality improvement is quality management and its thorough implementation within organization. One of the quality management tools is corrective and preventive action process, in short called CAPA. The objective of this process is to improve the overall quality of a product or service. Subject of this graduation thesis is to investigate how well is CAPA process implemented within local Estonian company called Nefab Packaging OÜ. Nefab is market leading producer of different industrial packaging materials in its factory located near capital Tallinn. Nefab has long experience with quality management as they acquired ISO 9001 sertificate in 2005. At the time of writing this thesis, author of it is hired by Nefab as key account manager and is responsible of managing good relationships with its clients. In first quarter of 2019 one of his clients started to reflect poor quality of our corrugated products. There was 12 registered reclamations with total claim for damaged products 6840 euros. During Nefabs weekly quality meeting it was decided to start CAPA process for investigating and solving this critical issue. Workgroup of wide competence was created. Author of thesis was appointed as a leader of this workgroup and process. CAPA process was carried out from 03.04.2019 to 11.09.2019. During this time assembled workgroup stated the problem which was visible cracking on double wall corrugated products and found its rootcauses. To fix discovered causes specific actions were implemented. First of them was changing of all die-cut tools for double wall corrugated cardboard product. New tooling improved the quality of products significantly and only minor cracks occured on the cardboard surface. In addition to that workgroup found out that there is no document in Nefab that clearly states the tolerances and quality of these products so they created one. This quality document was labelled: „Corrugated product quality tolerances“ and it describes all the important points of corrugated products from measurements to storage. Client was informed of activities made to improve the quality and Nefab recieved sincere thanks for their efforts. Overall author is very impressed how CAPA is implemented in Nefab Packaging OÜ. There’s only two remarks to make. First in the process of registrating the reclamations into companys quality software it is important to double check the pictures sent by customer, because they need to clearly reflect the nature of problem. There were reclamations with blurry pictures that did not give needed information. Besides that just before closing there should be mandatory step to bring out the benefits and gains in profit due the successful problem managament. It highlights the importance of quality management in companys turnover. In authors opinion the most valuable thing that CAPA achieves is improved customer relationship and that is what quality is all about

This paper is about the riddle proposed in the pages of El lazarillo de ciegos caminantes. We analyze the text and the information that is available about Alonso Carrio de laVandera and the situation of the Real Renta of Correos in the Viceroyalty of Peru. It also suggets problems that the author and the work might have had to contravene current printing standards in the last quarter of the Eighteenth Century.

“A Russian Journal” by John Steinbeck and Robert Capa: “Us” and “Them” in Photographs

Introduction. The article is devoted to the analysis of the images of “us” and “them” in the photographs of Robert Capa on the pages of “A Russian Journal,” the text of which belongs to John Steinbeck. Containing both explicit and implicit markers of otherness, this text is an early example of nascent Cold War discourse. Methods and materials. Using methods of media and visual studies as well as photograph theory, the author of the article considers “A Russian Journal” as a single media text. Its specificity lies in the interaction of two media within it: visual (photo) and verbal (text). Analysis. The author of the article traces how the meaning of the images arises from their connection with text and how the presence of the images affects the whole narrative of “A Russian Journal.” The photographs here function on two levels. First, they certify the sincerity of the writer, as Capa is represented as an observer, and the very function of the photograph-document is informational. Second, the very presence of a camera is considered a threat and means power. The photographs construct the meaning of reality and implicitly become an instrument to reveal the differences between the two powers, the USSR and the USA. Results. The photographs, as a discursive element of “A Russian Journal,” mark an insurmountable barrier between the two countries. The specifics of photographic media and the discourse built around this media influence the creation of the image of the “other”, which turns out to be a potentially dangerous “alien”
