IMPROVED BRANCH-AND-PRICE ALGORITHM FOR THE EFFICIENT 2-TERMINAL RELIABILITY PROBLEM
No full textThe Efficient 2-Terminal Reliability Problem is a nonlinear optimization problem aimed at designing a minimal-cost network within the reliability guaranties. Recent research has provided Branch-and-Price (BnP) solution based on probability relaxation, the Dantzig-Wolfe decomposition, followed by the column generation technique, and Branch-and-Bound scheme. Unfortunately, the performance of this algorithm deteriorates in cases of high-density graphs and stringent unreliability thresholds. By extending our recent approach, we introduce an improved BnP algorithm supplemented with novel valid inequalities, more efficient nonlinear integer pricing problem solver, primal heuristics, and branching strategies. Evaluation results on benchmarking instances demonstrate significant performance advantage of the proposed method

AN INTRODUCTION TO THE INDEPENDENT TOPOLOGICAL STRUCTURE GENERATED BY FUZZY SOFT γ-OPEN SETS
No full textIn this study, we propose a new generalized fuzzy soft open set, namely the fuzzy softγ-open set. Notably, the newly defined fuzzy soft γ-open set is a special type of fuzzy soft-pre-open set. Additionally, a diagram (Fig. 3) is used to show how fuzzy soft γ-open sets are related to various existing stronger and weaker forms of fuzzy soft-open sets. The main focus of this paper is on the autonomous topological structure produced by fuzzy softγ-open sets. Furthermore, we introduce the concepts of fuzzy soft γ-interior and γ-closure operators, which provide another way to define fuzzy soft γ-topology. Finally, we introduce and explore fuzzy soft γ-continuity as the application of the defined notions in this regard

No full textВ докладе рассматриваются визуальные и дискурсивные практики включения актуальных тем федеральных СМИ в тематику двух локальных Telegram-каналов небольшого города Полевского Свердловской области. Теоретико-методологической базой исследования выступает дискурсивностилистический анализ. Результаты исследования показывают, что на местном уровне темы актуальной повестки «больших» СМИ претерпевают оценочные и контекстные модификации. Исследование выполнено на материале публикаций за 2023–2024 гг.In the report, we will look at the visual and discursive practices of incorporating current topics of federal media into the topics of two local Telegram channels. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is discourse analysis. The results of the study show that the topics on the current agenda of the “big” media at the local level are combined with moral identification. The study was carried out based on publications for 2023–2024

Based on the empirical material of the publications of the official web resource of the publication, intended for primary and secondary schoolchildren, the visual and substantive characteristics of the content are determined. The specifics of promoting children’s media on the Internet are identified, and data from an analysis of the involvement of the target media audience are presented
TYPOGRAPHY AS A TOOL OF MEDIA IDENTITY: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF FONT SOLUTIONS OF FEDERAL AND REGIONAL MEDIA OUTLETS
No full textСтремительное увеличение и развитие методов формирования визуальной концепции страниц сайтов повлекло за собой множество вопросов относительно важности тех или иных аспектов этой концепции. Приоритетность сегодня отдается не только верстке страниц, но и техникам оформления их содержания, в частности текста. Данное исследование отвечает на вопрос роли типографики как ключевого инструмента в формировании медиаидентичности. Предметом анализа выступает типографическое оформление федеральных и региональных СМИ, особое внимание уделяется использованию шрифтов различных категорий (serif/ sans-serif), а также применению кастомных гарнитур. В работе применяется метод сравнительного анализа для оценки влияния типографических решений на восприятие издания и удобство чтения. Ключевые выводы исследования подтверждают, что сознательный и обоснованный выбор шрифтов оказывает существенное воздействие на формирование имиджа издания, его узнаваемость, а также на читательский опыт и степень вовлеченности аудитории.The rapid increase and development of methods for shaping the visual concept of website pages has led to many questions regarding the importance of certain aspects of this concept. Today, priority is given not only to the layout of pages, but also to the techniques of design of their content, in particular, text. This study answers the question of the role of typography as a key tool in the formation of media identity. The subject of the analysis is the typographic design of federal and regional mass media, with special attention paid to the use of fonts of different categories (serif/sans-serif), as well as the use of custom fonts. The paper applies the method of comparative analysis to assess the impact of typographic solutions on the perception of the publication and readability. The key findings of the study confirm that a conscious and informed choice of fonts has a significant impact on a publication’s image, its recognizability, as well as on reader experience and audience engagement
