Correction to: Breather, kink and rogue wave solutions of Sharma ‑ Tasso ‑ Olver ‑ like equation
Abstract In this paper, we consider the Sharma-Tasso-Olver-Like equation (STOLE) describing the dynamical behaviour of nonlinear dispersive waves in inhomogeneous medium. By using the Hirota bilinear method, some new type of solitons like breather-wave, kink solitary wave and rogue wave, one-, two- and new three-wave solutions to the STOLE have been determined. These results are achieved and verifed by using the Maple software. The obtained results are new from the existing results. For the further explanation of these solutions, diferent kinds of graphs are also drawn. These solitons suggest that this method is efective, straight forward and reliable as compare to other methods
Patient compliance to dietary recommendations: Tips and tricks to improve compliance rates
Urinary stone disease continues to be a public health problem with growing incidence and recurrences. Recurrence is nearly detected in 50% of the patients within 5 years after the frst episode. However, stone recurrence rates can be reduced to a certain extent. The American Urological Association (AUA) and the European Urological Association (EAU) guidelines advice dietary, fuid intake, and medical treatment to prevent or minimize stone recurrence. However, studies have shown that compliance to dietary and fuid intake recommendations is low. Beside this, nutritional evaluation of the patients is sufcient. Using food frequency questionnaires (FFQs), 24 h recall methods (short, individual-oriented, and easily applicable) or mobile apps can be used. In addition, cooperation with registered dietitians (RD) and planning tailored dietary programmes may have positive efect on compliance. Providers who give dietary advices should improve their knowledge about the topic and communication skills to create a patient–provider trust relationship. Simplifying the advices (shorter lists, applicable advices), spending more time, and giving education until being sure for patients’ understanding with regular remindings may improve adherence. Moreover, patients increased awareness and knowledge about dietary advices are benefcial. Smart devices for fuid uptake or urine pH monitoring, mobile apps or web-based portals, and telemedicine applications can be used to maintain the compliance on dietary advices. Compliance with dietary modifcations and fuid intake recommendations can be well achieved by individualized evaluation/close follow-up and the elimination of the problems limiting the patient compliance
Prevalence of dental anomalies in a group of Turkish people
Abstract Aim Dental anomalies in tooth number, shape, and position usually result in aesthetic and functional problems. These anomalies can affect both primary teeth and permanent teeth. Careful clinical and radiologic examination are required to diagnose the condition and establish appropriate treatment. The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of dental anomalies in a group of Turkish population and to compare our findings with literature knowledge. Material and method Retrospective orthopantomographs (OPGs), which were already taken in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacioal Radiology of Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, of a total of 5000 patients (2480 males, 2520 females) were examined for the presence of the teeth with number, size, position, shape, structure and root anomalies. The cases with dental anomalies were recorded according to localization (maxilla, mandible) and gender. Results A total of 1295 patients were found to have dental anomalies. 135 patients were found to have more of one dental anomaly. The distribution by sex was 645 males (12,9%), and 650 females (13%). The most common dental anomaly was number anomaly (490 patients), followed by position anomaly (410 patients). Conclusion This study, which was about the prevalence of dental anomalies, revealed that dental anomalies occur more frequently in the maxilla than the mandibula and the prevalence did not differ between men and women

Abstract
Lump solutions are a prominent option for numerous models of nonlinear evolution. The intention of this research is to explore the variable coefficients Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation. We auspiciously provide multiple soliton and M-lump solutions to this equation. Additionally, the presented results are also supplied with collision phenomena. Owing of its essential role, we employ appropriate parameter values to emphasis the physical characteristics of the provided results using 3D and contour charts. Gap solitons in fiber bragg gratings having polynomial law of nonlinear refractive index and cubic-quartic dispersive reflectivity by lie symmetry
Abstract: The current paper recovers cubic–quartic optical solitons in fiber Bragg gratings having polynomial law of nonlinear refractive index structures. Lie symmetry analysis is carried out, starting with the basic analysis. Then, it is followed through with improved Kudryashov and generalized Arnous schemes. The parameter constraints are also identified for the existence of such solitons. Numerical surface plots support the adopted applied analysis

ABSTRACT
The development of mass communication technology has triggered the emergence of a new image age and changed the interpretation system of the image. Personalized images, texts, or events with high interaction stood out with options such as “like,” “follow,” “save,” and “share.” In this environment, designers set aside their search for style and started to focus on designs that meet the demands of social media users and serve popular culture. In the study, starting from the representation of architecture in social media, the transformation of the architectural environment in line with the demands of popular culture is evaluated and the interaction between image production and space representation is revealed. With the sharing of the architectural object by arranging it in an “Instagrammable” way, problems such as homogenization, disidentification, and the separation of the space from the context have emerged. In this context, social media is evaluated with the dimension of space design, and it is aimed to achieve results in which designers are reminded of their responsibilities
Evaluation and epigenetic impact of B12, vitamin D, folic acid and anemia in Hashimoto's thyroiditis: a clinical and molecular docking study
ABSTRACT
Aims: Our approach in this study is to investigate the collective effect of various parameters, including vitamin B12 (B12),
vitamin D (Vit-D), folic acid, and iron deficiency, on Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) disease. This differs from existing literature
that has examined these parameters individually.
Methods: The study evaluated age, gender, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), free-T4 (FT4), free-T3 (FT3), Vit-D levels,
as well as autoantibodies against thyroid peroxidase (anti-TPO) and anti-tyroglobulin iron (anti-TG) levels, ferritin, B12, and
folic acid parameters in a total of 30 HT patients and 37 non-HT patients. These parameters were assessed by analyzing the
patients' routine blood test results using automated analysis methods.
Results: A negative correlation was found between the blood, Vit-D level and anti-TG (as the vit-D value increases, the antiTG decreases) (r=-0.417; p=0.001; p<0.01). There was a statistically significant and weak correlation between blood Vit-D
measurements and anti-TPO measurements (r=-0.341; p=0.005; p<0.01).
Conclusion: The study findings demonstrated that there was no statistically significant difference in the measurements and
correlation between hemoglobin, FT3, FT4, TSH, ferritin, vitamin B12, and folic acid levels in patients with and without a
diagnosis of HT (p>0.05). However, the study emphasized the critical role of vitamin D in the pathophysiology and treatment
of HT. Furthermore, molecular docking simulations indicated that folic acid could potentially act as a potent inhibitor of
human extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK2), which has been reported to play a key role in HT
Utility of guiding catheter extensions for recanalization of chronic total occlusions: A EuroCTO club expert panel report
Guiding catheter extensions (GCEs) have become indispensable tools in the modern approach to percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The support offered during complex PCI of uncrossable, or tortuous lesions is particularly valuable in the setting of chronic total occlusions (CTO), both for conventional anterograde wire escalation and for anterograde or retrograde dissection and re-entry techniques. This EuroCTO consensus document describes the use of GCE during CTO recanalization and provides a practical guide to anatomies and techniques in which these devices are applicable. We describe the peculiar features of the most-used device and the practical technique for GCE delivery in standard PCI; further specific indications for antegrade and retrograde CTO PCI are discussed in a specific section. In the antegrade approach, the GCEs may be useful to increase support or facilitate antegrade dissection and re-entry techniques, while in the retrograde approach for reverse controlled antegrade and retrograde tracking, to increase retrograde support for gear delivery, for treatment of CTO in bifurcation and ipsilateral externalization with a single guide catheter. The last section of the paper describes GCE-related complications, challenges, limitations, and future perspectives
Electric scooters as a silent source of danger in increasing use among young people: A single-center in-depth accident analysis
ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND: The reasons for the increase in accidents involving shared stand-up e-scooters in recent years may be the widespread use of e-scooters among young people, especially in metropolitan areas with heavy traffic, non-compliance with traffic rules, and insufficient legal regulations. In this study, we analyzed in detail the typical features of rider-sharing e-scooter-related injuries brought to the emergency department of our hospital in the light of current literature.
METHODS: The clinical and accident characteristics of 60 patients with surgical requirements who were brought to the emergency department of our hospital due to e-scooter-related accidents between 2020 and 2020 were analyzed using statistical methods retrospectively.
RESULTS: The majority of the victims were university students and the number of victims of the male gender was slightly higher and the mean age was 25.3±13.0 years. Most e-scooter accidents occur on weekdays. Most of the e-scooter-related accidents happen on weekdays and are non-collision type accidents. The majority of e-scooter-related accident victims were in the minor trauma group (injury severity scor
