Explicit solutions for fractional Chaffee–Infante reaction–diffusion coupled hierarchy system with conservation laws
Abstract
This research investigates the explicit series solutions of the fractional Chaffee-Infante reaction-diffusion coupled hierarchy system utilizing Lie symmetry analysis in two-dimensional space. This fractional system is a prominent model in fluid dynamics to characterize the surface-stripe wave evolution of liquids in light of the theory of conservation laws. The governing fractional system is analytically solved by the well-defined technique, called the power series method, so that the total derivative used is based on the Riemann-Liouville derivative. Simulations are also provided in this direction. The acquired results are systematically validated through a series of test cases. The results show that the proposed method is robust, accurate, and flexible in gaining more solutions, and it is effective in treating various fractional physical phenomena within the framework of conservation laws as well
Solitons in dual-core optical fibers with chromatic dispersion
Abstract In this paper, some analytical solutions for a model of dual-core optical fbers governed by a system of coupled non-linear Schrödinger equations (NLSEs) and the efect of the coefcient of the group velocity dispersion term on the considered model are investigated. The group velocity dispersion (GVD) has a important role in the optical wave propagation. The enhanced modifed extended tanh expansion method (eMETEM) is successfully implemented to the governing model. The NLSE system is turned into a nonlinear ordinary diferential equation (NLODE) via appropriate wave transformations. Supposing that the NLODE has solutions in the form suggested by the method and utilizing the enhanced solutions of the Riccati equation, we gain a nonlinear system of algebraic equations. The solutions of the governing model are obtained after solving the system of algebraic equations. 2D, 3D and contour illustrative fgures for the physical interpretation of the attained solutions are presented. Besides, the result of the investigation, which is related to the efect of the coefcient of the group velocity dispersion term, is presented by supporting the various graphical scheme
Investigation of the change in the level of pro-inflammatory, anti-inflammatory cytokine and total antioxidant in obese patients Change in the level of inflammatory cytokine and total antioxidant in obese patients
Abstract
Aim: Obesity and its complications are an increasing problem in developed countries. In 2011, around 500 million people worldwide suffered from obesity (body mass index (BMI) >30 kg/m(2)) and this figure is projected to at least double by 2030. The aim of this study was to investigate the changes in pro-inflammatory, anti-inflammatory cytokines and total antioxidant levels (TAC) in obese patients.
Material and Methods: In our study, IL-6, which is proinflammatory inteukin (IL), and anti-inflammatory IL-33 and total antioxidant levels were determined in 56 obese patients (BMI>30 kg/m(2)) and 50 control groups (18.5
Results: IL-6 and IL-33 levels were found to be significantly higher in the obese patient group compared to the control group (p<0.05). The total antioxidant level was found to be significantly lower in the obese patient group compared to the control group (p<0.001).
Discussion: Morphological and functional changes that occur in AD during the development of obesity can cause local and systemic inflammation. Released cytokines, fatty acids, free radicals and other factors affect the immunological activity of all tissues and cells. Chronic inflammation associated with obesity leads to many health complications such as cardiovascular and liver diseases

Diş hekimliğinde servikal lenf nodlarının ultrasonografi ile değerlendirilmesi: Retrospektif çalışma.
ABSTRACT Objective: Cervical lymph nodes are often involved in some disease states. The most common causes of cervical lymphadenopathy are tuberculosis, distant metastasis, and lymphoma. Ultrasonography is often used to map and characterize cervical lymph nodes. This study was designed to evaluate the role of ultrasonography in imaging cervical lymph nodes in patients undergoing ultrasonography (US) for various reasons. Materials and Methods: Among the patients who came to our clinic between 01.01.2020 and 01.01.2021, 25 people who had US for any reason and had lymph nodes in the regions where US was examined were included in our study. The lymph nodes of the patients were evaluated for 4-four different regions, right and left. Results: Transverse diameters of lymph nodes in the right and left submandibular regions were considerably bigger than the others. Conclusion: As a result, we think that ultrasonographic examination of cervical lymph nodes can provide important information in terms of diagnosis and, especially with the widespread use of USG in the field of dentistry, physicians can also examine cervical lymph nodes in the head and neck region to help make an early diagnosis of metastases of oral cancers or other primary cancers.ÖZ Amaç: Servikal lenf nodları sıklıkla bir dizi hastalık durumlarında rol oynar. The study of nonlinear dispersive wave propagation pattern to Sharma-Tasso-Olver-Burgers equation
Abstract
This paper discusses the wave propagation to the nonlinear Sharma-Tasso-Olver-Burgers (STOB) equation which is used as the governing model in different fields. Natural phenomena are typically complex and nonlinear, defying simple linear superposition. Researchers have been studying a wide range of natural phenomena in depth, and nonlinear science has gradually become a part of people's consciousness. One of the most significant research questions in nonlinear science centers around the nonlinear evolution equation and its precise solution. We have secured different shapes of the solitary wave solutions including kink-type, shock-type and combined solitary wave solutions with the assistance of recently developed integration tool, namely the new extended direct algebraic method (NEDAM). Additionally, the solutions for the hyperbolic, exponential and trigonometric functions are retrieved. Moreover, based on a comparison of our results to those that are well known, the study indicates that our solutions are innovative. Using proper parameters in numerical simulations and physical explanations, it is possible to demonstrate the significance of the results. The results of this research can improve the nonlinear dynamic behavior of a system and indicate that the methodology employed is adequate. It is proposed that the offered method can be utilized to support nonlinear dynamical models applicable to a wide variety of physical situations. We hope that a wide spectrum of engineering model professionals will find this study to be beneficial
A comparative examination of faculty members’ and students’ meanings regarding emergency remote teaching in the COVİD-19 process
Examining the perceptions of faculty members and university students in the emergency remote teaching process can create an important opportunity to understand the difficulties of the education processes during the COVID-19 pandemic and to conduct the next education processes more effectively. For this reason, this study aims to determine the perspectives of university students and faculty members about emergency remote teaching by examining their metaphorical interpretations of their short-term experiences with emergency remote teaching. The research was carried out using a qualitative research approach and the basic interpretive design was used in the research process. The data were collected with an online opinion form prepared to give a detailed meaning to the experiences of 152 university students and 48 faculty members. While analyzing the research data, the inductive analysis approach was employed with a phenomenological perspective. As a result of the research, it was understood that 65% of the faculty members and 46% of the students preferred coeducation, whereas 7.5% of the students preferred only the online environment. One of the most striking findings of the study is that students view AUE as freedom, whilst faculty members see it as a savior. Another significant conclusion is that both academic staff and students view the blended learning model as a long-term solution. Due to this, concerns about how online learning environment design procedures are implemented in emergency remote learning processes should be raised. Design studies on how to carry out distance education after the pandemic become more important given that the research's findings indicate that emergency distance education will be a permanent part of our life
Evaluation of the efficacy of self-adjusting file instrumenton oval-shaped root canals
Abstract: Purpose;Oval-shaped canals are a challenge when using rotary files because buccal and/or lingual
recesses are commonly left uninstrumented. The aim of this study was to evaluate root canal preparation in flatoval canals treated with ProTaper, Reciproc or self-adjusting file (SAF) instruments. Methodology; 60
mandibular premolars were divided into three groups. After biomechanical preparation, teeth were embedded
in acrylic blocks. Roots were then sectioned 4, 8, and 12 mm from the apex using a precise saw, and the cut
surfaces in the apical, middle, and coronal thirds were observed under a stereomicroscope at ×40
magnification. Results; The areas of prepared canal walls were significantly higher with the SAF than the
ProTaper or Reciproc instruments (p<0.05). The SAF removed the dentin layer from all around the canal,
whereas the others left substantial untouched areas. The area in the apical third of the teeth prepared with the
Reciproc was significantly higher than with the other techniques, likely due to the high taper of the Reciproc file
(p<0.01).Conclusions;In the coronal third, mean increases in the area of the canal were significantly higher
with the SAF than with ProTaper or Reciproc. Using the SAF instrument, flat-oval canals were prepared
homogenously and circumferentiall
On the dynamics of the nonautonomous multi-soliton, multi-lump waves and their collision phenomena to a (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear model
Abstract
One of the most popular ways to solve wave equations and explain nonlinear physical phenomena is with nonautonomous soliton solutions. This work aims to analyze the (3+1)-dimensional variable-coefficient Kudryashov–Sinelshchikov model, which explains pressure waves in liquid with flocs. Fluid dynamics, a subfield of fluid mechanics used in physics and engineering, is the study of how liquids and gases flow. There are many subfields within it, including aerodynamics and hydrodynamics. There are several uses for fluid dynamics, namely quantifying forces and moments. Using Hirota direct method, we auspiciously provide multiple solitons and M-lump solutions to this equation. We use specified input variables to accentuate the physical traits of the results obtained via two-, three-dimensional, and contour graphics since doing so is significant. The findings are applied to exemplify the physical traits of lump solutions and the collision-related elements of various nonlinear physical processes
Soliton solutions of the drinfeld-sokolov-satsuma-hirota equation
Abstract: In this paper, optical soliton solutions of the Drinfeld-Sokolov-Satsuma-Hirota equation (DSSH) are examined. Initially, a nonlinear ordinary differential equation (NODE) is obtained by applying a wave transformation to the DSSH equation. By balancing this NODE, the balance number is determined. The candidate solutions, along with their derivatives and wave transformation, are then substituted into the main DSSH equation. This substitution results in a polynomial form. Grouping together terms with the same power in the new equation and setting the coefficients of these terms to zero leads to an algebraic equation system. Solving this system enables the determination of unknown parameters in the candidate solutions and, consequently, the solutions of the DSSH equation. The obtained solutions are visualized through contour plots as well as two and three-dimensional plots. The proposed approaches successfully generate various types of solitons, such as kink solitons, singular solitons, and periodic singular solitons. The findings of this study will significantly contribute to future research in this field
