    Fuzzy Mamdani Pada Tanaman Tomat Hidroponik: Mamdani Fuzzy on Hydroponics Tomato Plants

    Tomato plants are one of the many agricultural commodities needed by the community. Most farmers grow tomatoes in conventional ways in the fields, fields or plantations without the control and measurement relying on experience and habitual factors, so the need for pH and temperature of the planting space of tomato plants cannot be given according to their needs, while the pH requirements of tomato plants range 6.5 and the planting room temperature is 28 °C, and soil moisture is 70%, using the hydroponic planting method which is automatically controlled by the Arduino-based microcontroller with the application of fuzzy mamdani making it easy to do pH setting of planting media using soil pH sensor as input and temperature of planting room using LM35 temperature sensor, and soil moisture sensor using humidity sensor fc28, as the system output fan and selenoid valve are used. To find out plant nutrition, one of the indicators is the pH value of soil media, room temperature and humidity of the planting medium

    Ngadirejo Village is a safe and comfortable village with the majority of the population working in agriculture and animal husbandry. However, on the other hand, public awareness and concern for handling waste is still lacking. Concerns about the waste problem can be reduced by increasing public awareness to treat waste properly and correctly. Therefore, the author tries to make a tool that is an Automatic Trash Place so that the community members are not reluctant to throw garbage in the trash. They do not need to touch the lid of the trash, to open it only need to hold hands and automatically the trash can will open. Trash cans are made by modifying existing bins. Swivel-covered bins are connected by servo motors and ultrasonic and infrared sensors which are controlled by the Arduino Uno microcontroller kit. This trash can can function properly and be used properly by the community. The results of this research are that the trash can can respond to garbage that is 20 cm away quickly and the trainer is used by students of the electrical engineering study program at Balitar Islamic University as a learning medium

    Prototype Sistem Deteksi Partial Discharge Pada Isolasi Kabel Menggunakan Sensor Microphone: Prototype Of Partial Discharge Detection System In Cable Isolation Using Microphone Sensor

    The phenomenon that often arises in a substation is the problem of partial discharge in outgoing cable insulation. Partial discharge is a jump of positive and negative ions that are not supposed to meet so that it can cause a spark jump. If a partial discharge is left too long it can cause insulation failure, the sound of snakes like hissing and the most can cause a flashover on the outgoing cable. Then a partial discharge detection prototype was made in the cable insulation in order to anticipate the isolation interference in the outgoing cable. Can simplify the work of substation operators to check the reliability of insulation on the outgoing side of each cubicle. So it was compiled as a method for measuring sound waves caused by partial discharge in the process of measuring using a microphone sensor, the Arduino Mega 2560 module as a microcontroller, the LCD TFT as a monitoring and the MicroSD card module as its storage. The microphone sensor is a sensor that has a high sensitivity to sound, has 2analog and digital readings, and is easily designed with a microcontroller. Basically the unit of measure measured at partial discharge is Decibels. The results of the prototype can be applied to the cubicle and the way it works is to match the prototype to the outgoing cubicle cable then measure from the cable boots connector to the bottom of the outgoing cable with a distance of 1 meter. Then the measurement results will be monitored on the TFT LCD screen in the form of measurement results, graphs and categories on partial discharge. In this design the measurement data made by the microphone can be stored with microSD so that it can make an evaluation of partial discharge handling in outgoing cable insulation

    Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) modeling has been developed which is part of a photovoltaic (PV) system. This study applies an algorithm for tracking maximum power points in the photovoltaic unit as a whole. The algorithm applied to the MPPT is simulated in PROTEUS modeling to verify the proposed method, the PID control method is simulated in Matlab and Simulink. Simulation shows that changes in input current and voltage will produce different PID controls, with a PWM duty cycle of 10% to 99%

    Studi Kestabilan Generator Sistem Sulselrabar: Stability Study of Sulselrabar System Generator

    In the standard operating system, the input parameters such as changes in the mechanical torque of the turbine and changes in the field voltage of the amplifier from the exciter need to be considered. Some studies that can be done include the study of the dynamic stability of synchronous generators when dealing with small changes that occur using the eigenvalue approach which is the roots of the characteristic equations of the system state space equation. The eigenvalue can show information on system stability and is related to the response of time to changes in the system. The system used is in the Sulselrabar electrical system. From the simulation results show the characteristics of the system in terms of the frequency response and angle of the generator rotor. For the eigenvalue system value in the inter-area oscillation mode is -0.33293 + 4.0844i, for the oscillation mode it is -0.9043 + 7.9670i. While the generator frequency response, where oscillations occur before reaching steady state conditions. The biggest overshoot response occurs in Old Tello plants, with a maximum overshoot of 0.09124 pu and a minimum of -0.2227 pu. While the smallest overshoot response is found in the Bakaru hydroelectric power plant which is equal to 0.004681 maximum pu and -0.02563 minimum pu

    Indonesia has enormous potential for the Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA). Considering that PLTA is an environmentallyfriendly power plant, the components of this plant are worthy of further development. One of them is the development of the hydropower governoor control system. The PID controller is a control system that is often used in the control of theGovernoor System in a hydropower plant because of its simple controller. At present hydro power plants still use theconventional method of PID control trial-error on average. For this method it is difficult to adjust parameters and it takes a long time and the accuracy of controls is not good. Therefore a smart method is needed to overcome this problem.In the past few years, researchers have used many intelligent methods (Artificial Intelligent) to determine the DC PIDparameters. One of them is Cucckoo Search Algorithm (CSA) which is inspired by the behavior of cuckoo birds in placingtheir eggs. By using the CSA method, it is expected to provide a better system response than using the old system PIDcontrol (trial-error). The final goal of the PID control system used in the hydro generator is to regulate the movement ofthe turbine guide vane, which will affect the electrical power produced by the generator. Here the Guide Vane blade settingscan be likened to adjusting the angle of a DC motor. In this study a miniature prototype system governor will be createdthat is controlled by using a PID controller optimized using the Cuckoo Search Algorithm method. In experiments withthe trial error method, the Kp = 3, Ki = 1 and Kd = 10 values with the magnitude of the control parameters obtainedthe average settling time for set point 4 to set point 8 of 24.2 second. Furthermore, the CSA method is used for tuning the PID. After being tuned to the CSA method the values of Kp, Ki and Kd are different for each set point. For set point 4,Kp = 0.99, Ki = 1.00 and Kd = 0.99, while the average settling time is also better than PID trial error, which is 18.8 second

    Design and Implementation of Solder Paste Dispenser Based on Linear Drive System: Perancangan dan Implementasi Dispenser Pasta Solder Berbasis Linear Drive System

    In the technology to create prototypes for electronic hardware is usually constructed using surface mount device printed circuit board (SMD PCB). In this paper introduces the design and implementation of low-cost electrical solder paste dispenser that supports the PCB solder process. The design consists of a nozzle and linear drive systems based on stepper motors operating with electric power to push the plunger down to drop the solder paste on the board. To test the performance of solder paste that has been designed verified by experiment. Solder paste dispenser design was tested using SMD resistor with the solder pads of different sizes for R0603, R0805, and R1206 on PCB. The results showed that the design of the prototype was able to put the pasta in various field pads between 0.54 mm2, 0.91 mm2 and 1.44 mm2 for standard solder pads with an error in the 2% - 5%. Based on the results, the device has been shown to potentially be used to attach electronic components to printed circuit boards

    Besides Physical test normally, early detection on the condition of the body by using the image processing of iris is an alternative method to observe the health of human’s body, especially the internal organ of the body. This paper uses Dr. Bernard Jensen’s chart of iris as reference, in which part and how deep is the damage happens in the tissue of iris. Organ disorder is represented by the form of broken tissue of iris. The broken tissue usually seems to be like a hole in certain area in the iris. In this paper, the instrumentation for data mining uses video camera and the software that will be developed uses Visual Basic on image processing programming. In the image of eye, the region of interest is only on the iris, and it will be grabbed by using circle and line equations.The area of Liver organ lies on 07.15 – 07.45 in the third Quadran. After wards, this slice of image is prepared for image processing system. The method that is going to be used in this paper is grey level, enhancing and sobel operator. Then, the output of the system will be compared with physical test to measure the precision on detecting the problem on Liver organ

    he research was conducted on the pig farm owned by Mr. Santo, at the West Bandulan, Sukun Sub District of Malang in East Java province for 4 weeks (1 month). This research uses 4 pigs where 2 tails are fed automatically and the 2 tail still uses manual way. The purpose of this research is to provide farmers with information on the effects of feeding timely on the increase in pig weight. The method used is the experiment (experimental) consisting of 2 experiments that were first performed automatic feeding of 2 pigs that both feed manually against 2 pigs so as to find a comparison of The experiment. Looking at this, then the author devised a tool scheduling and automatic feeding of Arduino-based Mega 2560. With this tool, the author hopes to help pig farmers in increasing pig weights and relieve breeder's work.  Thereby can improve the welfare of pig farmers. Results of the experiment showed the growth of pigs using the automated system better with the result 0.58 – 0.68 kg per day
