    Asessing Parenting Education: Parenting Styles Of Adolescents In Rural And Urban Society

    The objective of this study is to find out the differences of parenting styles in rural and urban society toward with adolescent’s involvement in family decision making. This research using a cross sectional survey method and embracing the theories of Montessori, Steinberg and Santrock about adolescent development, and Yusuf in parenting styles. The instrument used was adapted from the Alabama Parenting Questionnaire. It was consisted of 13 questions they were independency, responsibility, honesty, self-acceptance, receiving mistakes, trust, protection, freedom, involvement, and discipline. The result of rural society was the highest maximum value on the acceptance question (59%), namely admitting mistakes. For urban society data showed that the highest score of the questionnaire is about the parenting style of acceptance with a value of 62%. This meant that the result of the parenting style the child receives was the permissiveness style of care. The conclusion based on the area the urban society is more democratic in parenting.     COVID-19 lockdown policy impact on students' psychological, behavioral, and daily routine changes: A case study of Gusau residents in Nigeria

    In the exploration of a better approach to managing education sectors in developing nations during the pandemic era, this study attempts to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 lockdown policy on students' mental health in Gusau, one of the towns in Nigeria, through the investigation of how the students' psychology, behavior, and routine activities were affected by the introduction of lockdown protocols/policy during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. The investigation was done using a hybrid method that employs a combination of the descriptive and factorial design method, where 201 students participated in the study. Findings from the study indicated that male students were 2% above female; two-third of the students were under-age; the students' attending private schools were 5% above the ones attending public schools; while two-third of the students were attending lower/middle school. The study confirmed that the students' psychology was significantly affected by the lockdown protocols, likewise their behaviors and routine activities. Some factors contributing to the effects were reported. And recommendations were made to the effect for the government to transform Nigeria states' learning system into being a hybrid learning system that would combine the use of both physical and virtual learning platforms at all levels of education, which would go a long way to manage the behavior, psychology, and routine activities of the students better, both during a pandemic and non-pandemic er

    ANALISIS PEMAHAMAN MAHASISWA DALAM MATA KULIAH STRUKTUREN UND WORTSCHATZ II DITINJAU DARI ASPEK PERSEPSI

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah sturukturen und wortschatz II ditinjau dari aspek persepsi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pemahaman mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah sturukturen und wortschatz II. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri atas angket dan wawancara. Angket yang dikembangkan menggunakan skala semantic differential mulai interval 1 (tidak paham) sampai 6 (sangat paham)  yang terdiri atas 10 item dimana setiap item mewakili satu materi dari topik sturukturen und wortschatz II. Jumlah partisipan yakni sebanyak 50 mahasiswa  yang merupakan mahasiswa bahasa Jerman semester 4 yang telah memprogramkan mata kuliah sturukturen und wortschatz II yang berasal dari 3 universitas yang berbeda yakni Universitas Negeri Makassar, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, dan Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Teknik analisis data yakni statistik deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa materi mengenai penggunaan preposisi yang menguasai akkusativ dan dativ, materi konjugasi kata sifat, serta materi tingkat perbandingan kata sifat menjadi kesulitan bagi mahasiswa dibandingkan dengan materi-materi lainnya.     This study develops instructional materials in the form of textbooks and is packaged in the form of e-Learning. The material that was raised was Fundamental Physics devoted to Department of Biology FMIPA UNM. This is a Research and Development research with 3D model (define, design and development). The results showed that the validation of teaching materials and materials in teaching materials included in the category is “very good”. The practitioners 'assessment showed that the basic physics teaching materials based on e-learning were included in the "very good" category while the students' perceptions of the Teaching Materials were included in the "good" category. Thus e-learning materials based on fundamental physics materials for biology department worthy of use in the process of learning in fundamental physics courses in biology department

    PELATIHAN PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN SISWA BAGI GURU SEKOLAH DASAR

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui efektivitas  pelatihan pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis analisis kebutuhan siswa bagi guru sekolah dasar.  Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni eksperimen, dalam hal ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini ialah 30 guru sekolah dasar yang bersedia untuk mengikuti pelatihan yang diberukan. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dengan menggunakan skala likert  serta wawancara dan observasi.  Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni statistik deskripif dan statistik inferensial dalam hal ini adalah paired sample t-test. Hasil analisis data pre-test dan post-test dengan menggunakan teknik  paired sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa nilai signfikansi sebesar (0.oo) lebih kecil dari (0.05). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan mengenai kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan model-model pembelajaran

    This study is a comparative study with the quasy experiment method which aims to determine the differences in scientific attitudes of students using the Discovery Learning Model and Direct Learning Models. The research design used was two experimental groups. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the analysis show the value of the average scientific attitude (curiosity, democratic attitude and academic honesty) of the experimental class I students, namely 74.57 and the experimental class II, which is 64.26. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained by the value of tcount = 2.30 at a significant level α = 0.05 with dk = 5 obtained a value of ttable = 2.021. This shows that there are differences in scientific attitudes of students who are taught through discovery learning models and direct learning models on the subject matter of buffer solutions

    This study aims to obtain data on the effectiveness of the use of Outdoor Learning learning models on the ability to write simple essays of Class XII Students of SMAK St. Fransiskus Saverius Ruteng, Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, The method of this research is the experimental method with One Group Pretest Posttest design. The data collection technique used is the test The ability to write simple essays. Data were analyzed using t test. The population in this study were students of class XII of SMAK St. Fransiskus Saverius Ruteng which consists of one class of 28 people. The sample of this study is a total sample. The results of the data analysis showed th (6,21)> tt (2,052) at a significant level of 0.05. The results showed that the use of Outdoor Learning learning models was effective against Simple Writings Writing Ability of German students

    The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the effectiveness of cooperative learning models guessing words in students' speaking skills. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The population of this study was all students of class XI Semen Tonasa High School consisting of 2 classes totaling 97 students. The sample used was Random Sampling, namely students of class XI IPS 2, amounting to 28 students as the experimental class and students of class XI IPS I, amounting to 28 students as the control class. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test formula. The results of data analysis showed (t count 3.34> t table 0.005 at a significant level of α 0.05. The results showed that the cooperative learning model guessed the word effective in the German speaking skills of students

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui efektifitas  dari modul pelatihan komunikasi positif bagi guru sekolah dasar berbasis teori kesopanan berbahasa yang telah dikembangkan.  Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni eksperimen, dalam hal ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini ialah 30 guru sekolah dasar yang diberikan pelatihan komunikasi positif selama 3 kali pertemuan.  Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dengan menggunakan skala likert  serta wawancara dan observasi.  Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni statistik deskripif dan statistik inferensial dalam hal ini adalah paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan mengenai pemahaman guru mengenai komunikasi positif dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa modul pelatihan yang dikembangkan effektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman guru mengenai teknik komunikasi positif dalam proses pembelajaran

    Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII3 SMP Negeri 1 Makassar Melalui Penggunaan Media Soal Interaktif dan PowerPoint  Berbasis ICT Pada Konsep Struktur dan Fungsi Organ Tumbuhan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Class Action Research). Penelitian ini mengambil satu kelas sebagai sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII3 sebagai subjeck penelitian yang berjumlah 40 orang yang diajar dengan menggunakan soal interaktif dan power point berbasis ICT. Untuk mendapatkan data, maka digunakan lembar observasi untuk mengamati aktivitas siswa dan tes hasil belajar sebagai instrument penelitian, yakni berupa pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif yaitu untuk mengetahui skor dan pengkategorian hasil belajar siswa serta secara inferensial dengan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan soal interaktif berbasis ICT dikategorikan baik dengan nilai rata-rata 69,0
