PENERAPAN DISC MODUL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract: Implementing of disc module for improving mathematic learning creativity of fifth grade elementary school students. Purpose of the research was to describe improvement students creativity through disc module on mathematic teaching integer number at fifth grade Gentang Elementary School Bendosari, Sukoharjo, Type of the research was classroom action research (CAR) which was conducted in two cycles. Data collection methods were observation, interview, and test. Research results showed: (1) Teaching discmodule integer number material improved students’ creativity, and (2) improved students student’ learning achievement.Keywords: disc module, creativity, learning achievement, elementary school studentsAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan peningkatan kreativitas siswa melalui Disc Modul pada pembelajaran matematika materi bilangan bulat pada kelas V SD Gentan Bendosari Sukoharjo. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) pembelajaran disc modul materi bilangan bulat dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, dan (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. IMPLEMENTASI TEKNIK KLARIFIKASI NILAI BERBANTUAN FOKLOR DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER KE-INDONESIAAN SISWA KELAS V SD
Abstract: The classroom action research was intended to build the Indonesian characters of the students through the implementation of value clarification technique by using folklore. The subjects of the study were 32 fifth graders of Public Elementary School 03 South Pontianak West Borneo. The data was collected by using observation and interview. The results of the study showed that the value clarification technique by using folklore could build the Indonesian characters of the students. It could be suggested that the implementation of value clarification technique by using folklore should be promoted to use during the teaching and learning in order to build the Indonesian characters of the elementary school students.Keywords: value clarification technique, folklore, character building.Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan membentuk karakter ke-Indonesia-an siswa melalui implementasi teknik klarifikasi nilai berbantuan foklor. Subjek penelitian meliputi 32 siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Pontianak Selatan Kalimantan Barat. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan teknik klarifikasi nilai berbantuan foklor dapat membentuk karakter ke-Indonesia-an siswa. MODEL PENDIDIKAN ANAK DENGAN KECERDASAN ISTIMEWA JENJANG SD BERBASIS INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Abstract: Model of elementary school age children education with very high intelligence on the basis of individualized educational programs. Purpose of the research was to product service instruments for developing potency of elementary schools’ students with very high intelligence on the basis of individualized programs. Design of the research was research & development with steps: conducting exploration, identification and analysis characteristic of elementary school. Research results concluded elementary schools’ children were not exist in all times and educational service appropriate to children with very high intelligence tended to enrichment direction. It can be recommended that schools apply minimal service model with enrichment, but if institutions have supporting relevant resources they can use other two options, i.e. acceleration and cluster grouping.Keywords: educational model, very high intelligence, IEPAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat model layanan untuk mengembangkan potensi kecerdasan istimewa siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) berbasis pada Individualized Programs. Rancangan penelitian pengembangan, tahap kegiatan melakukan eksplorasi identifikasi dan analisis karakteristik SD. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa anak cerdas di SD tidak hadir sepanjang waktu, dan model layanan pendidikan kepada siswa unggul atau cerdas istimewa cenderung ke arah pengayaan (enrichment). Disarankan, sekolah dapat menerapkan model layanan minimal bersifat pengayaan (enrichment), namun jika lembaga memiliki kesiapan sumber daya penunjang yang relevan dapat memanfaatkan dua opsi model yang lain yakni percepatan (acceleration) dan pengelompokan khusus (cluster grouping).Kata Kunci: model pendidikan, cerdas istimewa, IE
MODEL PENDIDIKAN NILAI BUDI PEKERTI BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL BAGI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract: Model of moral value education based on local wisdom for elementary school education. Purpose of the research was to product the model of moral value education based on local wisdom for elementary school education. Subjects of the research were teachers, elementary students, and Islamic elementary school. Data was collected by interview, observation, documentation, and forum group discussion (FGD). The collected data was analyzed by descriptive qualitative argumentative. Research results showed character education teaching model will effective if it implemented integrally among character education teaching with reflective method, value transformation approach, rational moral cognitive development approach, value analysis approach, value clarification approach, action (habit) teaching approach, and reward and challenge.Keywords: value education model, moral, local wisdom, elementary education Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan menghasilkan produk model pendidikan nilai budi pekerti berbasis kearifan lokal bagi siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD). Subyek penelitian adalah guru, siswa SD, dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Pengumpulan data melalui interview, observasi, dokumentasi, dan Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif argumentatif. PERSPEKTIF METAKOGNITIF GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstracts: Teachers’ meta-cognitive perspective in elementary schools’ mathematic teaching. The purpose of this research was to describe teachers’ meta-cognitive perspective in elementary schools’ mathematic teaching in the Malang Region. The approach of the research was quantitative and qualitative. The subjects were 123 elementary schools’ teachers at Malang Region. Data were collected by instrument and interview. The collected data were analyzed by means and frequency. Research results showed that in general, elementary schools’ teachers’ meta-cognitive perspective in the consciousness , cognitive strategy, and planning and re-study aspects was in a good category. Specifically, elementary schools’ teachers’ meta-cognitive perspective in teaching mathematic: (1) means of the consciousness aspect was 2.91, (2) means of the a cognitive strategy aspect was 2.75, (3) means of a planning aspect was 2.83, (4) means of a re-study aspect was 2.52.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perspektif metakognitif guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) dalam pembelajaran matematika di Kabupaten Malang. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian guru SD di Kabupaten Malang sebanyak 123 orang. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen dan wawancara. Analisis dengan rata-rata dan frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum perspektif metakognitif guru-guru SD pada aspek kesadaran, strategi kognitif, perencanaan, dan mengkaji ulang termasuk kategori baik. Secara khusus perspektif metakognitif guru dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah: (1) pada aspek kesadaran mempunyai rata-rata sebesar 2,91, (2) aspek strategi kognitif mempunyai rata-rata sebesar 2,75, (3) aspek perencanaan mempunyai rata-rata sebesar 2,83, dan (4) aspek mengkaji ulang mempunyai rata-rata sebesar 2,52
PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM IlMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL BAGI ANAK AUTIS KATEGORI RINGAN TINGKAT SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract: Developing Social Studies Education Curriculum for Autistic Children with Mild Category in the Elementary School Level. The purpose of this research was to develop social studies education curriculum for autistic children with mild category in the elementary school level class I-III. This research and design used Borg & Gall design. Through some expert judgment, limited scale test, and extended scale test, this research produced the social studies education curriculum for autistic children with mild category in the elementary school level. The research results the social studies education curriculum for autistic children with mild category in the elementary school level comprised a competency standard in class I semester 1 understanding self identity and understanding colors. Semester 2: understanding self identity and understanding colors. Class II Semester I recognizing surrounding objects and recognizing a diversity of soy. Semester II love in family and recognizing types of job and tasks in ordinary life. Class III semester 1 with SK: understanding history of things, and Semester 2: understanding maintenances of animal, and semester 2: understanding maintenances of animals and understanding maintenances of surrounding objects.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kurikulum matapelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) bagi anak autis kategori ringan untuk tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) kelas I-III. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan rancangan/desain Borg & Gall. Setelah melalui serangkaian uji ahli, uji coba skala terbatas, serta uji coba skala luas dihasilkan produk berupa kurikulum IPS bagi anak autis tingkat SD kelas rendah kategori ringan. Hasil penelitian berupa Kurikulum IPS bagi anak autis kategori ringan kelas I-III SD meliputi Standar Kompetensi di kelas I semester 1 yaitu: memahami identitas diri, dan memahami berbagai warna. Semester 2 yaitu: memahami identitas diri, dan memahami berbagai warna. Kelas II semester 1: mengenal benda sekitar, dan mengenal macam-macam sayuran. Semester 2: kasih sayang di keluarga, dan mengenal berbagai pekerjaan dan tugasnya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. PERAN KOMITE SEKOLAH DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP KINERJA SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstact: The purpose of this ex post facto research was to describe effect of the school committee role on effectivity of school’ performance. The location of the research was in Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat province. The research was conducted at January – April 2004. The research population comprised all committee member (436 people) State Elementrary School Fune acceptors SDF (School Development Fund) 2003 years. The sample was 100 drawn population with proportional random sampling technique. Significant test results with F-test and t-test showed (1) the role of school committee in developing education had significant influence to school’ performance, (2) Peran komite sekolah sebagai supporting agency dalam penyelenggaraan program sekolah, berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja sekolah. (3) the role of school committee in giving advisory to school’ principle related to developing education had significant influence on school’ performance. (4) Peran komite sekolah sebagai controlling agency dalam penyelenggaraan program sekolah, tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja sekolah. (5) Peran komite sekolah sebagai mediator antara masyarakat dengan sekolah dalam penyelenggaraan program sekolah, berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja sekolah. Abstrak : Penelitian ex post facto ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peran komite sekolah terhadap kinerja sekolah yang efektif. Lokasi penelitian di Mataram Nusa Tenggara Barat, dilaksanakan mulai Januarai s.d. April 2014. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh anggota komite SDN penerima dana SDF (School Development Fund) anggaran 2003 sebanyak 436 orang. Sampel diambil 100 dari seluruh populasi dengan teknik proporsional random sampling. Hasil uji signifikansi dengan menggunakan F-test dan t-test menunjukan: (1). Pengaruh Peran Komite Sekolah dalam pengembangan pendidikan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja sekolah. (2) Peran komite sekolah sebagai advisory agency dalam penyelenggaraan program sekolah, berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja sekolah. (3). Peran komite sekolah sebagai supporting agency dalam penyelenggaraan program sekolah, berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja sekolah. (4). KAJIAN TEMA DAN OBYEK GAMBAR ANAK-ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract: Study of picture’s theme and object in elementary schools’ children. Purpose of the research was to describe a diversity of picture’s theme and object in elementary schools’ children. The research subjects were document of East Java elementary schools’ children picture results. Analysis methods were content analysis approach qualitative descriptive and artship study analysis. Research results showed: (1) the diversity of picture’s themes and picture’s title were relevant to picturing imagination ideas/ thought into picture form consistent to creativitity of every child. Picture themes diversity were: My Self, Playing, Animal, Activities/Hobby, Scenary, Public places or objects, Art, Exhibition Art, Place or environmental Condition, Events, Religiousity, Sport, Imaginative, and Poster. (2) the objects that dominated children’s picture were plantation, building, animal, human, vehicle, instruments, game, natural object, imaginative figure. Hasil penelitian: (1) keragaman tema dan judul gambar anak berkaitan dengan penggambaran suatu ide/gagasan ke dalam bentuk gambar sesuai gaya kreatifitas setiap anak. Keragaman tema gambar yaitu: Diriku, Bermain, Binatang, Kegiaatan/Hobby, Pemandangan, Tempat atau Obyek Publik, Kesenian, Seni Pertunjukkan, Suasana Tempat/Lingkungan, Peristiwa, Keagamaan, Olahraga, Imajinatif, dan Poster; (2) obyek yang mendominasi karya gambar anak sangat beragam, di antaranya tumbuhan, bangunan, binatang, manusia, kendaraan, peralatan, mainan, obyek alam, tokoh imajinatif. MODEL PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER YANG BAIK (STUDI LINTAS SITUS BESTS PRACTICES) PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI SD
Abstract: The grounded qualitative research was intended to produce a construction model of good character building according to The Best Practice of Character Building which was implemented in the best elementary schools in East Java. The results of the study suggested that the visions of schools were informed to all people involved in the schools then were understood, and the commitment to realize the visions was built. Based on the visions, character building activities were planned through the teaching and learning in the classrooms, the cultures of the schools, the extracurricular activities, and the involvement of the parents as well as the society. It could be concluded that the implementation of character building could build good characters in the elementary schools.Keywords: character building, best practices, elementary schools.Abstrak: Penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan grounded risearch ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah konstruksi model pendidikan karakter yang baik berdasar riset di The Best Practice Pendidikan Karakter yang dipraktikkan SD-SD terbaik di Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan visi satuan pendidikan disosialisasikan kepada seluruh civitas satuan pendidikan yang bersangkutan, dipahami, kemudian membangun komitmen bersama untuk mencapai visi. Berdasarkan visi tersebut disusunlah program kegiatan pembelajaran karakter melalui pembelajaran di kelas, kultur satuan pendidikan, kegiatan ekstra kurikuler, dan pelibatan peran serta orang tua dan masyarakat. POLA ASUH ORANGTUA DALAM MEMOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract: Parent's child rearing in motivating elementary school students’ learning.Purpose of this research was to describe forms of parents’ child rearing’ parent in motivating elementary school students’ learning and dominant child rearing conducted by parent in improving elementary school students’ learning motivation of class IV, V, dan VI at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Research method; survey with questionnaire instrument to 460 students respondent. Research results; quality of parents’ child rearing with democratic form classified very good, i.e. higher than means, quality of parents’ child rearing with authoritarian form can be classified as low in motivating students in learning. Quality of students’ learning motivation at Muaro Jambi Region can be classified very good and they had maximum hope and mission toward learning motivation.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk pola asuh orang tua dalam memotivasi siswa dan pola asuh dominan yang dilakukan oleh orang tua untuk meningkatkan kualitas motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Metode penelitian; survay dengan instrumen angket terhadap 460 siswa responden. Hasil penelitian; kualitas pola asuh orang tua berbentuk demokratis tergolong sangat baik yaitu di atas rata-rata, pola asuh orang tua berbentuk otoriter kurang baik untuk memotivasi siswa dalam belajar. Kualitas motivasi belajar siswa di kabupaten Muaro Jambi tergolong sangat baik dan memiliki harapan dan cita-cita untuk mencapai hasil belajar secara maksimal.
