    PENERAPAN BIMBINGAN GURU DALAM PROSES BELAJAR MENGAJAR DI SDLB

    Abstract: Application of teachers’ guidance in teaching and learning process in special education elementary school. A guidance service is an integral part of all educational activities for special education elementary school students. This condition should be accompany with teachers’ competency in conducting a guidance so it can develop the potency of special needs children optimally. The application of guidance in the special education elementary school children’s teaching and learning process were studied from application of individual understanding function, channeling, adjustment, prevention, modification, and development. Research results at City of Malang and Region of Malang special education elementary school: (1) Teachers’ competency in applying guidance in teaching process on individual understanding function can be categorized good, (2) Teachers’ competency in applying guidance on teaching process in channeling and adaptive function can be categorized good, (3) Teachers’ competency in applying guidance in teaching process on self adjustment, prevention, modification, and self development function can be categorized good.Abstrak: Layanan bimbingan merupakan bagian integral dari keseluruhan kegiatan pendidikan pada anak SDLB. Kondisi ini perlu diiringi dengan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan program bimbingan agar dapat mengembangkan potensi anak berkebutuhan khusus seoptimal mungkin. Penerapan bimbingan dalam proses belajar mengajar anak SDLB dikaji dari penerapan fungsi pemahaman individu, penyaluran, penyesuaian, pencegahan, perbaikan, dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian di SDLB Kota dan Kabupaten Malang: (1) kemampuan guru menerapkan bimbingan dalam proses belajar mengajar, pada fungsi pemahaman individu termasuk baik; (2) kemampuan guru menerapkan bimbingan pada fungsi penyaluran, dan fungsi adaptif termasuk baik; (3) kemampuan guru menerapkan bimbingan pada fungsi penyesuaian diri, fungsi pencegahan, perbaikan, dan fungsi pengembangan termasuk baik.Kata Kunci: kemampuan guru, bimbingan, proses belajar mengajar, anak SDL

    Abstract: "Education for all" paradigm in inclusion teaching practices at elementary school in Malang city. Inclusive education involved special needs’ students to learn together with normal children in regular schools. In field condition, teachers in regular schools are not prepared to teach special needs’ students. The purpose of this fundamental research was to develop basic concepts about the teacher behavior related to inclusion education in handling special needs’ students and their behavior problems in the classroom. The research was conducted at five elementary schools in Malang. Interview, observation, documentation and FGD were used data collection methods. Results showed: (1) teachers had been working independently to develop their knowledge and skill in coping with special needs’ students, (2) sustainable guidance should be conducted, (3) stakeholder support should be improved, (4) there were some schools had not adequate facilities and therapy rooms. Abstrak: Paradigma "education for all" dalam praktik pembelajaran inklusi di sekolah dasar kota Malang. Pendidikan Inklusi mengikutsertakan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) belajar bersama anak normal di sekolah reguler. Kondisi di lapangan, guru di sekolah reguler tidak dididik secara khusus untuk menghadapi ABK. Penelitian fundamental ini bertujuan menyusun konsep dasar tentang perilaku guru berwawasan pendidikan inklusi dalam penanganan ABK dan perilaku bermasalah di kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lima SD di kota Malang. Observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan FGD digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) guru secara mandiri telah berupaya mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan menangani ABK, (2) pembinaan secara berkelanjutan sangat diperlukan, (3) perlu peningkatan dukungan stakeholder, (4) beberapa sekolah belum memiliki sarana dan ruang terapi yang memadai.     PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PENDIDIKAN ANTIKORUPSI MELALUI MEDIA KOMIK BAGI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

    Abstract: Developing an Anti-corruption Education Model through Comic Media for Elementary School. Purpose of this research was to develop anti-corruption education learning model through comic media for elementary school. Research & development used Plomp (1989). Research subjects were Class IV SDN Mulyorejo Surabaya. Data collection used interview, observation, and questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative method. Research results showed 86,40% students strongly prefer comic and 86,40% strongly prefer comic as an anti-corruption learning media. Implementation anti-corruption education through the comic media, means 70 (54,55%), and after learning used comic media, students means were 85 (86,40%). The comic media expectedly can be used as an alternative in erasing corruption in Indonesia soon. But it should be re-studied, especially school environment condition, students’ characteristic, and learning time.Abstrak: Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran pendidikan antikorupsi melalui media komik di Sekolah Dasar. Pengembangan menggunakan model Plomp (1989). Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV SDN Mulyorejo Surabaya. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 86,40% siswa sangat menyukai komik dan 86,40% sangat menyenangi komik sebagai media pembelajaran pendidikan antikroupsi. Implementasi model pendidikan antikorupsi melalui media komik menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai korupsi, di mana hasil test sebelum menggunakan komik, rata-rata 70 (54,55%), dan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan media komik, rata-rata nilai siswa 85 (86,40%). Media komik ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam pemberantasan korupsi di Indoensia sejak dini. Namun masih perlu dikaji kembali terutama kondisi lingkungan sekolah, karakteristik siswa, dan waktu belajar.Kata Kunci: media komik, pendidikan antikorupsi, sekolah dasa

    Abstract: Developing Thematic Learning Model for Early Class in Elementary School. The purpose of the research was to describe: 1) the problems faced by early class elementary schools’ teacher in thematic teaching; (2) Developing learning module of mathematic for early class in elementary schools. The research used 4D model, i.e. define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research subjects were 34 (17 teachers of core elementary school and 17 SD/MI) early class elementary schools’ teachers in 17 counties, Bantul Region. Data collection used observation, interview, and FGD. Steps of data analysis were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Research result concluded that early class teachers faced problems: (a) Their understanding of thematic learning concept was low; (b) Difficulty in developing thematic learning teaching materials, (c) Their understanding toward concept of learning outcomes and the implementation also was low. The thematic Model can be developed based on handbook following steps: basic competency mapping, implementation theme web.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1)permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru-guru kelas awal sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran tematik; (2) pengembangan modul pembelajaran tematik kelas awal sekolah dasar.Penelitian menggunakan model 4D, yaitu tahapan define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian guru kelas awal sekolah sasar (SD) dari 17 kecamatan di Kabupaten Bantul berjumlah 34 orang yang diambil secara acak, terdiri 17 guru SD intidan 17 guru SD/MI. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan FGD.Teknik analisis data dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa guru kelas awal menghadapi permasalahan: (a) pemahaman terhadap konsep pembelajaran tematik masih rendah, (b) kesulitan dalam mengembangkan materi ajar dalam pembelajaran tematik, (c) pemahaman terhadap konsep evaluasi hasil belajar dan implementasinya juga masih rendah. Model tematik dapat dikembangkan berpegang pada panduan dengan mengikuti langkah pemetaan kompetensi dasar, menerapkan jaringan tema, dan menentukan tema.Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran tematik, kelas awal, sekolah dasa

    Abstract: The developmental study was intended to produce the training model of creative teaching and learning which fulfilled the criteria of expediency, appropriateness, and relevance theoretically and practically. The research steps included preliminary study, planning of early form of the model, expert validation, the try out of the model, and the revision of the model. The results of the study was a model of training model of creative teaching and learning for elementary school teachers along with the guidelines and the media which had high appropriateness theoretically and practically.Keywords: training model, creative teaching and learning, elementary school teachersAbstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan model pelatihan pembelajaran kreatif, yang memenuhi kriteria kebergunaan, kelayakan, dan ketepatan secara teoritis dan praktis.     Abstract: The developmental study was intended to find out the test result of the effectiveness of writing teaching and learning by using Whole Language approach; and to obtain the appropriateness of the writing teaching and learning model by using Whole Language approach at Elementary schools. The steps of the study included preliminary study, model development, model try out, and dissemination. The results of the study suggested that (1) the writing competence of the students who learnt writing by using Whole Language approach was better than those who learnt writing conventionally; and (1) writing teaching and learning model by using Whole Language approach could be accepted by the stakeholders well.Keywords: writing skills, Whole Language approach, elementary schools.Abstrak: penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menemukan hasil uji efektivan model pembelajaran menulis dengan pendekatan Whole Language di sekolah dasar; dan mendapatkan keberterimaan model pembelajaran menulis dengan pendekatan Whole Language di sekolah dasar. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model, pengujian model, dan deseminasi.     Abstract: Home Based Education ModelAlternative Education for Bajo Children and Fisherman at Southeast Celebes. Purpose of this research and development was to create self learning materials for home based education (HBE) alternative education model for bajo children and fisherman at Wakatobi Region, Konawe, and Buton Southeast Celebes. The selected model was local content learning based on coastal environment packed in science education and social studies, which had purpose to introduce deeper in a variety shore ecosystem, coastal, and sea as for Bajo people. Through this kind of education they can guard, conserve, and use sea resources ecosystem in rational and responsible way for improving welfare and future of coastal children. The results showed the core of organized learning material of HBE comprised: (1) recognition of coastal environment, (2) conservation of coral reef, (3) conservation of natural resources, (4) care of coastal, shore, and sea ecosystem equilibrium, (5) conservation of rare and highly economic value sea biota.Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan bahan belajar mandiri (self learning materials) pada home based education (HBE) model pendidikan alternatif anak Bajo dan nelayan di Kabupaten Wakatobi, Konawe dan Buton Sulawesi Tenggara. Model yang dipilih adalah pembelajaran Muatan Lokal berbasis lingkungan pesisir yang dikemas dalam mata pelajaran IPA dan IPS, yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan lebih mendalam berbagai ekosistem pantai, pesisir dan laut yang menjadi sumber pencaharian pokok masyarakat nelayan, khususnya orang-orang Bajo. Melalui pendidikan ini mereka diharapkan mampu menjaga, melestarikan dan memanfaatkan ekosistem sumberdaya laut secara rasional dan bertanggungjawab bagi peningkatan kesejakteraan dan masa depan anak-anak pesisir. Hasil penelitianya itu inti pokok peng¬organi¬sasian bahan belajar HBE terdiri dari: (1) mengenal lingkungan pesisir, (2) memeliharaterumbukarang, (3) konservasi sumberdaya hayati, (4) menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem pesisir, pantai dan laut, (5) melestarikan biota laut yang langka dan bernilai ekonomi tinggi.Kata Kunci: bahan belajar, home based education, anak Bajo, nelayan, sekolah dasa

    PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL GROUP INESTIGATION TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V DI SDN

    Abstract: The experimental study was intended to prove the effects of group investigation (GI) model towards the natural science learning outcome of the elementary school students. The sample which was two classes was taken by using simple random sampling. The data was collected by using treated instruments (syllabus and lesson plans) and the instruments of measuring the learning outcome (pre-test and post-test). The data was analyzed by using prerequisite test analysis and hypothesis test through t-test. The results of the study suggested that GI had significant effect on the learning outcome. The probability value < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) and the values of T > Ttable (12,800 >1,991) which meant that Ho was rejected so the GI teaching and learning model had positive effect on the natural science learning outcome.Keywords: group investigation model, learning outcome, natural scienceAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan membuktikan pengaruh model group inestigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa sekolag dasar. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel dua kelas.     ESTETIKA DAN TIPOLOGI GAMBAR ANAK-ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR

    Abstract: Esthetic and typology of elementary children’s picture. The purpose of this research was to describe: (1) the diversity of theme, title, form/  object of children’s picture, (2) Period of children’s drawing, (3) Typology  and impression of children’ drawing space, (4) Visualization of children’s picture components, (5) picture media and art technique in the children’s picture. The design of the research was descriptive  qualitative. The subjects were 2009-2011 children’s pictures in East Java Province. Research result showed:  (1) the diversity of themes  and pictures’ title was a representation form  of  creative thinking, uniqueness  representation, effective, and variety impression among pictures. (2) Most of esthetic of typology, style and picture space impression  can be typed visual and a few can be   seen haptic. (3) A visual component of  Line, color, form, field, and texture were more dominant, while space and light components were not always appear in every children’s picture. (4) the diversity of the picture media were: pencil, color pencil, crayon, little marker, big marker, water verf, and ballpoint.Abstrak: penelitian ini tujuannya mendeskripsikan: (1) keragaman tema, judul, bentuk/obyek gambar anak, (2) periodisasi menggambar anak, (3) tipologi dan kesan ruang gambar anak, (4) visualisasi unsur rupa gambar anak-anak, (5) media rupa dan teknik seni pada gambar anak. Rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, subyeknya gambar anak SD di Jawa Timur tahun 2009-2011. Analisis kesenirupaan berupa penyajihan data dalam paparan deskriptif estetika dan tipologi gambar anak. Hasil penelitian: (1) keragaman tema, judul gambar adalah wujud representasi gagasan kreatif, keunikan, ekspresi dari pengalaman, realitas, imajinatif yang bermakna budaya dan lainnya. Gambar anak memiliki nilai estetis spesifik, menarik, dinamis, lugas, dan tidak sama kesannya antara satu gambar dengan gambar lainnya. (2) Estetika tipologi, gaya, dan kesan ruang gambar umumnya bertipe Visual, dan sedikit bertipe Haptic. (3) Unsur visual garis, warna, bentuk/bangun, bidang, dan tekstur lebih dominan, sedangkan unsur ruang dan cahaya tidak selalu tampak pada setiap karya gambar anak.     Abstract: Teaching Science with Predict Observe Explain (POE) Model. Improving quality of education for elementary schools’ students needs to do through learning process improvement. Achievement indicator in learning can be marked with development of critical thinking in students in responding phenomena in their environment. One of the learning models believed developing students’ critical thinking is application of predict observe explain (POE) model. The model give chance in students practicing to predict phenomena in their environment with logical reasoning, to prove the truth of prediction by experiment and also to explain results based on scientific observation. Through POE model students’ critical thinking optimally develop and they are trained developing their reasoning skills with making relationship among observed facts resulted from conducted experiment.Abstrak: Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan bagi anak Sekolah Dasar (SD) perlu dilakukan melalui perbaikan proses pembelajaran. Indikator keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran diantaranya ditandai dengan berkembangnya kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa dalam menanggapi fenomena yang terjadi di lingkungannya. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang diyakini mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir siswa adalah dengan menerapkan model POE (Predict-Observe-Explain). Model pembelajaran POE memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk berlatih memprediksi gejala-gejala di lingkungan dengan alasan logis, membuktikan kebenaran prediksi melalui eksperimen serta menjelaskan temuan berdasarkan hasil pengamatannya secara ilmiah. Melalui model POE kemampuan berfikir kritis berkembang secara optimal dan siswa dilatih mengembangkan daya nalarnya dengan cara menghubungkan antar fakta yang diamati dari percobaan yang dilakukan.Kata Kunci: berfikir kritis, model POE, IPA S
