Weton Calculations as A Basis for Marriage Implementation (Case Study at Kandangmas Dawe Kudus)
This research uses a qualitative method with an Islamic Law approach which examines basic norms, implementation of basic norms, and the impact of basic norms in calculating marriage weton at Kandangmas Dawe Kudus.. Research purposes This is to describe Many people do the calculation of weton in marriages in the Kandangmas Dawe Kudus community, but researchers also found people who don’t believe or ignore the calculation of weton births in marriage, this is motivated by family, community environment, strong religious beliefs and belief in qadha and qadar. Research result: The people of Kandangmas Dawe Kudus need a wise and wise attitude to pay attention to old values or traditions such as good weton calculations and accept new values that are better and more useful so that they remain in line with the times and the values of noble Islamic teachings. As long as it does not change the faith and contradict the teachings of Islam, such traditions can be implemented and developed. On the other hand, if it conflicts with the teachings of the Islamic religion, then the tradition must be abandoned
Upaya Meningkatkan Kecerdasan Spiritual Siswa Melalui Program Full Day School di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kota Jombang
The problem that occurs in MI students in Jombang City is the lack of spiritual intelligence of students as evidenced by the decline in children's manners and moral ethics. This is because students see negative videos that are spread on social media. So this study aims to find out how the full day school program implemented by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Jombang City can improve the spiritual intelligence of grade II students. Interviews and documentation are used as data collection methods in qualitative descriptive research methods. 27 students from class II were interested, the chairman, class II teacher, and the students as resource persons. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. 27 students from class II participated, the principal, class II teacher, and students' parents as informants. The results of the study showed that full-day learning was carried out at MI Jombang city from Monday to Friday from 06.55 to 15.40 WIB. There are many efforts to improve students' spiritual intelligence, including teachers delivering subject matter, congregational prayers, dhuha prayers, morning recitation, and the habit of one day one coin. Because through these habits students experience changes in attitudes such as discipline, having empathy for others, and always remembering Allah in their actions. However, these efforts can be further developed through positive activities so that students' spiritual intelligence can develop properly
Penerapan Nilai Spiritual Dalam Tradisi Kenduri Hari Raya Sebagai Wujud Kearifan Lokal Pasca Pandemi (Studi Fenomenologis di Desa Sendang Jambon Ponorogo)
The outbreak of the Corona virus (Covid-19) has changed religious practices in the life of the Muslim community. Religious practices are now changing and adapting according to different health protocols from the previous situation. Religious adherents are no longer in conflict with the lusts and disturbances of the devil and all kinds of things, but now have to deal with a deadly virus in performing religious rituals. Islam has invited mankind to follow the teachings in the Qur'an in a wise manner, good words, and clear exchange of ideas. This principle emphasizes that the spread of Islam must be carried out taking into account the situation and conditions of the community concerned, as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological study approach, namely an approach that tries to explain or reveal the meaning of concepts or phenomena of experience based on the awareness that occurs in several individuals. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data with the triangulation method. The results of the study: (1) The tradition of festive feasts in the village of Sendang Jambon Ponorogo has existed since the time of the ancestors, namely around the 1940s, before Indonesia's independence. (2) The tradition of celebrating Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha has become a routine for the residents of Sendang village, the majority of which are Nahdliyin people. The tradition is carried out on the night of the feast or called megengan, and in the morning after carrying out the 'Id prayer, by bringing tumpeng rice and giving lectures and prayers together. (3) The spiritual value in the kenduri tradition is carried out as a form of public gratitude for the coming of Muslim holidays, friendship, maintaining unity and integrity, mutual cooperation, giving alms, etc
Implementasi Teori Bourdieu Dalam Upaya Menjaga Warisan Budaya Sunan Muria Pada Masyarakat Piji Wetan Desa Lau Kabupaten Kudus
AbstractThe cultural heritage of the village is becoming a hot discussion in the midst of such rapid global progress. Among the existing policies, each village is encouraged to have a policy document for the promotion of culture as a basis for development. One of the cultural heritages that is no less interesting is the philosophy of the Tapangeli teachings and Sunan Muria's Pager Mangkok. This can be said as an intangible cultural heritage that underlies the social, economic and cultural behavior of the people in the Muria Region to this day. This research using a qualitative approach, this study aims to narrate social praxis and the efforts made by the people of the Piji Wetan Cultural Village of Lau Village in realizing the above ideals. As a knife of analysis, the researcher uses the bourdieurian theory to reveal the norms and values agreed by the Piji Wetan community in preserving the legacy of Sunan Muria. As a result, the people of the Piji Wetan Cultural Village with the application of their bourdieurian theory won an award from the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture as the best cultural village in 2020. Thus, researchers hope that this can inspire academics and social actors who want to advance culture like the Piji Wetan community in Lau Village
Religius Radikal: Dualisme Gen-Z dalam Mengekspresikan Kesadaran Beragama dan Kesalehan
Ada keragaman dalam menafsirkan Islam. Ada yang rigid, kaku, dan tekstual. Ada pula yang lebih lembut, fleksibel, dan kontekstual. Kalangan pertama terkesan intoleran, ekstrem, dan radikal. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kedua pandangan dan sikap tersebut adalah pemerolehan informasi. Gen-Z merupakan generasi kelahiran 1995–2012, yang merupakan generasi digital, era dengan informasi melimpah, termasuk informasi yang berkenaan dengan Islam. Kesadaran beragama menjadikan Gen-Z termotivasi untuk menjadi pribadi Muslim yang baik dengan mempelajari Islam melalui berbagai cara, namun di sisi lain aktualisasi kesalehan yang kaku dan tidak menghargai lokalitas, mengindikasikan mereka sebagai religius radikal. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kalimantan Selatan dengan sampel Gen-Z berusia 18–24 tahun (mahasiswa) dan bertujuan untuk membuktikan penghayatan dan aktualisasi Islam wasathiyah oleh Gen-Z di Kalimantan Selatan atau sebaliknya religius tetapi radikal. Kalimantan Selatan memiliki penganut Islam terbanyak di pulau Kalimantan, yang merupakan pulau terbesar di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bersifat eksploratif. Data digali melalui kuesioner berkenaan dengan tingkat kesadaran beragama, cara menghayati nilai dan ajaran Islam, cara mengekspresikan Islam dan sumber belajar Islam yang digunakan. Hasil data dikemukakan dengan pengukuran tendensi sentral yang dipaparkan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada umumnya Gen-Z tidak menyadari bahwa mereka berpandangan dan bersikap radikal, terlebih pada masyarakat dengan homogenitas yang tinggi
Survei Kompetensi Pedagogik dan Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru (Studi Kasus Guru Alumni Prodi PAI IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung)
This study aims to determine the effect of pedagogic competence and job satisfaction both partially and simultaneously on the performance of Islamic Religious Education teachers who are alumni of IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung. Both civil servant and non-PNS status in Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study were PAI religion teachers from the formal education level of SD/MI and SMP/MTs in Bangka Regency with a sample of 240 teachers. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire consisting of 104 items. This research instrument was tested on 30 teachers. Test the validity of the instrument used is the validity of the content with expert judgment techniques. The reliability of the instrument uses the Alpha Cronbach formula. The analysis prerequisite tests carried out were linearity, normality and heteroscedasticity tests. The heteroscedasticity test uses a graphical regression pattern, the graph shows that the points spread randomly and spread above and below zero (Y axis) so that heteroscedasticity does not occur. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis techniques.The results showed: 1) pedagogic content had a significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution of 5.28%, 2) job satisfaction had a significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution of 6.32%, 3) pedagogical competency and job satisfaction together had a significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution of 10.2%
Urgensi Vaksinasi Covid-19 Sebagai Wujud Implementasi Hifz Al-Nafs (Studi Kasus Pesantren Modern Al-Amanah Junwangi Krian Sidoarjo)
AbstractPesantren Modern Al-Amanah is a pesantren-based Islamic educational institution located in Junwangi, Krian, Sidoarjo. In this pandemic era, the pesantren has resumed teaching and learning activities. With the number of 2,000 students, the pesantren has designed a variety of preventive and curative measures to suppress the spread of the Covid-19 virus and maintain the safety of the students' souls. One of preventive efforts carried out by pesantren is through a vaccination program in the pesantren environment. The purpose of this article is to find out and describe how Islamic boarding schools view the phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially regarding vaccines which are then correlated with the theory of hifz al-nafs in the study of maqasid al-syariah. This study uses a qualitative method through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach in the form of interviews with the head of the Covid-19 task force at the Al-Amanah Modern Islamic Boarding School. The results of this study imply that the implementation of vaccination from the maqasid al-syariah point of view is a very urgent matter. In addition, the procurement of Covid-19 vaccination activities has also been proven to be able to prevent Islamic boarding schools from spreading clusters of the Covid-19 virus
Filsafat Terapan Pendidikan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Akomodatif Bagi Penyandang Disabilitas
At the end of 2021, the President of the Republic of Indonesia has signed the formation of the National Commission for Disabilities (KND). They certainly need research data to support research-based policies. This article formulates the applied philosophy of disability-responsive Islamic higher education in Indonesia with a case study at IAIN Alaudin Makassar. This study uses a philosophical, phenomenological and educational policy approach. The data collected by observation, interviews and documentation were then analyzed with a philosophical and phenomenological perspective within the framework of education policy. This study concludes that the most important thing and is the main capital in building an inclusive campus is the issue of world view, namely the philosophical foundation that gives birth to the attitudes, behavior and culture of the campus community and society as a whole to build an inclusive campus for students with disabilities. With a philosophical vision of becoming a center for enlightenment and transformation of science and technology based on Islamic civilization, this is a curriculum idea that has the potential to be reconstructed into a curriculum document as a reference in curriculum implementation in achieving disability-responsive educational goals. This framework of thinking is part of an applied Islamic paradigm that is in line with the reasoning of the religion of peace or as a form of prophetic thinking paradigm based on theo-anthropocentric existentialist philosophy of Islamic Religious Higher Education in Indonesi
Spiritual Guidance With Dhikr Therapy for People with Mental Disorders (Analysis of the Implementation of Spiritual Guidance With Dhikr Therapy at the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation)
This study aims to reveal the implementation of spiritual guidance with dhikr therapy for people with mental disorders at the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation. The research on the implementation of spiritual guidance with dhikr therapy in people with mental disorders was carried out using a qualitative approach with the type of field research with data collection techniques using Interview, Observation and Documentation. The results showed that first, the method of Islamic spiritual guidance with dhikr therapy in dealing with people with mental disorders at the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation is the group therapy method and the direct therapy method. Second, there are two stages in the implementation of Islamic spiritual guidance with dhikr therapy in dealing with mental disorders patients at the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation, namely: (1) The preparation stage, is the stage where the supervisor assisted by nurses identifies problems, designs action plans, and solves problems. patient problems. (2) The implementation stage, namely by reading dhikr sentences such as tasbih, istigfhar, and sholawat sentences. Third, the material in Islamic spiritual guidance with dhikr therapy is an explanation of the nature of God, human duties, commendable and despicable morals, and gratitude. The implication of this research is to provide knowledge about the implementation of dhikr therapy, because dhikr based on various studies can help overcome mental disorders
Menumbuhkan Nilai-Nilai Moderasi Beragama Pada Santri (Studi Pada Pondok Tahfidz Yanbu’ul Qur’an Kudus)
This research aims to describe the efforts of Islamic boarding school in fostering moderation values for santri, to find out the anticipation of Islamic boarding school in counteracting intolerant understanding in santri and the surrounding community, and to know the extent to which the values of moderation are applied in Islamic Boarding School Tahfizd Yanbu'ul Qur'an Menawan Kudus. The uniqueness of this study lies in the location of the Islamic boarding school which is a tahfizd boarding school with a conservative educational base that has a culture that is able to foster religious moderation values in students. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach that uses observational data, interviews and documentation studies which are then analyzed using the descriptive technique of the Miles and Hubermen model. This study succeeded in finding that although pesantren is classified as a conservative religious education institution, the values of religious moderation are always grown with various efforts, namely: programmed internalization in the form of moderation-based learning materials, habituation activities such as praying in congregation, mutual cooperation, tawadlu’ towards teachers and foreign language week activities.
