Optimizing Individual Resilience Through The Tazkiyatun Nafs Method: Implications For Islamic Education At The Al-Mu’min Rehabilitation Foundation In Malang
This study examines the implementation of Tazkiyatun Nafs in improving individual resilience at Al-Mu'min Rehabilitation Foundation Malang through a religious education approach. Using qualitative methods through observation, interviews, and documentation, this study found that the approach of purifying the soul through Takhalli (cleansing bad traits) and tahalli (filling noble morals) contributes to building individual psychological resilience. Spiritual interventions, such as zikr, congregational prayers, and therapist guidance, are proven to help clients overcome drug addiction and mental disorders by increasing equanimity, perseverance, and religious awareness. The results showed that the Tazkiyatun Nafs method has several implications in improving individual resilience, namely: (1) Negative Emotion Management, where individuals learn to control stress and anxiety through consistent worship practices; (2) Mental and Spiritual Resilience, which is obtained through increased faith and piety; (3) Increased Religious Values, which have an impact on spiritual transformation and individual morality; and (4) Formation of Harmonious Social Relationships, with social support that helps individuals build healthier and more positive relationships. These findings are in line with the Wagnild-Young resilience model and the Snyder-Lopez variable-focused model, which emphasize the importance of internal-external factor interactions in building resilience. Thus, Tazkiyatun Nafs-based religious education at Al-Mu'min Foundation not only functions as a therapeutic method, but also as a means of Islamic character building that strengthens individual resilience in facing life's challenges.This study examines the implementation of Tazkiyatun Nafs in improving individual resilience at Al-Mu'min Rehabilitation Foundation Malang through a religious education approach. Evaluation Of Islamic Religious Education Learning Using The Artificial Intelligence -Based Deep Learning Approach
Infrastructure constraints, educator digital literacy, and ethics still need to be addressed through the evaluation of Islamic religious education (PAI) learning to assess students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies in improving conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and religious attitudes in PAI subjects. In the digital era, deep learning methodologies that include artificial intelligence (AI) strategies and technologies present opportunities to improve the effectiveness of evaluation. This study aims to evaluate How effective is the in-depth learning method in improving PAI learning outcomes, the data was analyzed using the qualitative literature approach of the Miles and Huberman model, by conducting Data reduction , data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the integration of artificial intelligence-based deep learning results in more comprehensive and meaningful assessments for students, teachers, and educational institutions
Kerja-Kerja Pendisiplinan Oleh Guru Agama Islam di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan: Best Practice di SMK Negeri 1 Pemangkat
This study explores the role of Islamic religious teachers in cultivating a culture of discipline grounded in Islamic values at SMK Negeri 1 Pemangkat, Sambas Regency. Discipline is understood not merely as the enforcement of rules, but as the shaping of “docile bodies” through pedagogical mechanisms, systematic training, and the internalization of values. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, the research collected data through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, applying Miles and Huberman’s interactive model for analysis. The study is framed by Michel Foucault’s concept of disciplinary bodies—entities that are regulated, transformed, and refined through spatial organization, temporal regulation, hierarchical surveillance, and normalization. The findings reveal that Islamic religious teachers fulfill multiple roles: instructor, educator, classroom manager, mentor, guardian of disciplinary culture, and moral exemplar. Strategies employed include daily habituation, structured training programs (e.g., LDDK), personalized communication, and systematic supervision and evaluation. Contributing factors comprise students’ self-awareness, active parental involvement, positive peer models, and collaborative engagement between the school and the wider community. Challenges include limited discipline awareness, insufficient parental oversight, and adverse peer or environmental influences. The study demonstrates that Islamic education fosters disciplined character not through coercion, but via structured regulation, internalization, and exemplary leadership, offering a Foucauldian lens to inform more contextually grounded character education strategies in vocational school settings.This paper generally aims to explore the importance of the functional roles of Islamic religious teachers in disciplining students at Vocational High Schools (SMK), as well as to unveil the supporting and inhibiting factors related to these functional works. The best practice is illustrated through the case of SMK Negeri 1 Pemangkat. This study is the result of descriptive qualitative research, where data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis employs an interactive analysis approach following the procedures set by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014). Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that: first, the importance of the teacher's role in disciplining students at SMKN 1 Pemangkat can be seen in their functional roles as educators, instructors, classroom managers, demonstrators, mentors, preservers of school discipline culture, and role models. In this regard, the Islamic religious teachers at SMKN 1 Pemangkat carry out habituation, training, approaches, and effective communication with students regarding discipline. Second, the factors supporting Islamic religious teachers at SMKN 1 Pemangkat in implementing a culture of discipline include self-awareness, parental involvement, active roles of teachers, and cooperation among the principal, teachers, parents/guardians, and the community, particularly in activities such as LDDK (Basic Discipline Training). Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include a lack of self-awareness, insufficient parental involvement, and the social environment surrounding the students
PORTRAIT OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN MADRASAH ALIYAH (MA) BASED ON ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOLS IN BANGKA
This study examines the practice of quality management in Islamic boarding school-based Madrasah (MA) in Bangka, with three subjects, namely MA Hidayatussalikin Pangkalpinang, MA Nurul Falah Air Mesu, and MA Al-Mujahirin Koba. The method used is descriptive qualitative with collection techniques ranging from interviews, documentation, to observation. Samples were obtained from respondents and trusted sources with purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study The three madrasahs implemented and developed quality management starting from planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up improvements that were very synergistic between madrasah management, pesantren management, and foundation management. The four processes of maintaining the quality of madrasahs include one aspect that ensures the continuity of the development of madrasahs and pesantren, namely the aspect of religious enthusiasm among madrasah residents. Religious enthusiasm is the main strength of madrasah management in implementing quality management in Islamic boarding school-based madrasahs in Bangka. Dinamika Interaksi Sosial Siswa Pasca Perubahan Jam Masuk Di Madrasah Mu’allimin Jombang
Madrasah Mu'allimin Mu'allimat Tambakberas Jombang, as a pesantren-based Islamic educational institution, experienced a change in the school entry hour policy from rotating to uniform in the morning for male and female students. This study aims to explore the impact of these changes on students' social interaction patterns, using a qualitative approach based on Erving Goffman's social interaction theory. Data were collected through participatory observation and in-depth interviews. The results showed that these changes affected students' intensity, quality and group dynamics, as well as their friendship patterns. Factors such as pesantren culture, availability of time and place for interaction, individual characteristics, and school policies also influence the dynamics of social interaction. The findings are expected to provide academic and practical contributions in the management of holistic education policies, supporting the balance between students' academic and social needs.AbstrakMadrasah Mu'allimin Mu'allimat Tambakberas Jombang, sebagai institusi pendidikan Islam berbasis pesantren, mengalami perubahan kebijakan jam masuk sekolah yang semula bergilir menjadi seragam di pagi hari bagi siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak perubahan tersebut terhadap pola interaksi sosial siswa, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis teori interaksi sosial Erving Goffman. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan ini mempengaruhi intensitas, kualitas, dan dinamika kelompok siswa, serta pola pertemanan mereka. Faktor-faktor seperti budaya pesantren, ketersediaan waktu dan tempat interaksi, karakteristik individu, dan kebijakan sekolah turut memengaruhi dinamika interaksi sosial. Temuan ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi akademis dan praktis dalam pengelolaan kebijakan pendidikan yang holistik, mendukung keseimbangan antara kebutuhan akademis dan sosial siswa
Women's Empowerment In Morocco: The Writing of The Muhammadi Mushaf By Morocco Women In The Eradication Of Illiteracy Program
This article aims to reveal the Moroccan Government's efforts in empowering women, by involving them in real terms in the Literacy Eradication Program in mosques. This research is a qualitative research, with data collection techniques through interviews with several people related to the Literacy Eradication Program in Morocco and library data. By using descriptive analysis methods and the concept of women's empowerment as a tool for reading data, this article finds that the Moroccan government's efforts to empower women through the Ministry of Endowments in the Literacy Eradication Program in Mosques are carried out by involving women as teachers and participants. It is recorded that more than seven thousand teachers and instructors, program coordinators and education advisors from among women are actively involved in efforts to eradicate illiteracy in Morocco. In addition to being expected to develop social, economic and educational status, as well as improve the standard of living of individual program participants and also the community, this program concretely produced a mushaf written jointly by 75 thousand female program participants, which was then published under the name Al-Mushaf al-Mohammadi min Naskh an-Nisa` al-Mustafidat min Barnamij Muharabah al-Ummiyah fi al-Masajid bi Riwayah Warsy `an Nafi'.AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan mengungkap upaya Pemerintah Maroko dalam pemberdayaan perempuan, dengan melibatkan mereka secara riil pada Program Pemberantasan Buta Huruf di masjid. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan beberapa orang yang berkaitan dengan Program Pemberantasan Buta Huruf di Maroko dan data kepustakaan. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dan konsep pemberdayaan perempuan sebagai alat membaca data, artikel ini menemukan bahwa upaya pemberdayaan perempuan pemerintah Maroko melalui Kementerian Wakaf dalam Program Pemberantasan Buta Huruf di Masjid, dilakukan dengan melibatkan perempuan sebagai pengajar dan peserta. Tercatat lebih dari tujuh ribu guru dan pengajar, koordinator program serta penasehat pendidikan dari kalangan perempuan terlibat aktif dalam upaya pemberantasan buta huruf di Maroko. Selain diharapkan dapat mengembangkan status sosial, ekonomi dan pendidikan, serta meningkatkan taraf hidup individu peserta program dan juga masyarakat, secara konkret program ini menghasilkan mushaf yang ditulis secara bersama-sama oleh 75 ribu perempuan peserta program, yang kemudian diterbitkan dengan nama Al-Mushaf al-Mohammadi min Naskh an-Nisa` al-Mustafidat min Barnamij Muharabah al-Ummiyah fi al-Masajid bi Riwayah Warsy `an Nafi’
Internalization Of Moral Feelings As The Basis For Character Building And Accountability Of Islamic Boarding School Students
This study explores the internalization of moral feeling as the basis for shaping the accountability character of students at Pesantren Darur Ridwan Al-Fadholi, Pati. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation with the pesantren leaders, teachers, and students. The findings reveal four interrelated dimensions of accountability: institutional, individual, spiritual, and social. Institutional accountability is reflected in financial transparency and reporting practices, while individual accountability is fostered through students’ direct involvement in managing pesantren business units that require honesty and responsibility. Spiritual accountability is manifested in the habituation of religious practices, such as congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, and tahfidz programs, which cultivate the awareness of accountability before Allah. Social accountability emerges through students’ participation in community activities, shaping their sense of responsibility beyond the pesantren environment. The study concludes that accountability in pesantren cannot be built solely on formal systems, but must be reinforced through the deep internalization of moral feelings. This research contributes theoretically by integrating moral psychology and Islamic accountability, and practically by offering insights for pesantren to strengthen both affective character formation and institutional systems of transparency
Integration Of Religious Moderation Values In The Learning Of The Quranic Text History
Religious moderation is considered a solution to stem radicalism and extremism, particularly in higher education environments. This research aims to determine students' needs for integrating moderation values into learning and to understand their perceptions of the integration of religious moderation values in the History of the Qur'an. This research aims to develop a curriculum model and teaching materials for the course that incorporate Islamic moderation. This research method employs the Research and Development (R&D) model, utilizing the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) approach. The initial stage focuses on needs analysis. We collected data through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews with 30 students and lecturers teaching the History of the Qur'an course at the State Islamic University of Salatiga. The results of the study show that many students (71.2%). They view religious moderation as very important to life and advocate its integration into lecture materials. All lecturers (100%) should use religious moderation material, and 80% acknowledged the urgency of textbooks; however, no one has prepared a special textbook with moderation content for this course. The needs analysis reveals that students require textbooks that incorporate the concept of moderation, which is easy to understand (with the aid of concept maps/summaries), and align with the applicable KKNI curriculum.
Analisis Faktor Spiritualitas Islam, Kebutuhan Psikologis Dasar dan Motivasi Otonom Guru Terhadap Mutu Madrasah di Lampung Tengah
This study aims to explore the impact of Islamic workplace spirituality on the achievement of educational quality in madrasahs, both directly and indirectly through basic psychological needs satisfaction and autonomous motivation. The results of the measurement model evaluation indicate that all research variables have excellent reliability and confirmed validity. Meanwhile, the structural model shows that Islamic spirituality does not have a direct effect on educational quality achievement, but it positively influences it through autonomous motivation and psychological needs satisfaction. The variable of psychological needs satisfaction is found to be the most influential mediator in enhancing educational quality. These findings support the JD-R and SDT theories, suggesting that Islamic spirituality functions as a personal resource affecting performance. This research also emphasizes the importance of integrating spiritual values in human resource management in madrasahs to enhance educational quality. Future development directions include exploring spiritual practices in daily education and the relationship between spirituality and teachers' professional development.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh spiritualitas Islam di tempat kerja terhadap pencapaian mutu pendidikan madrasah, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kepuasan kebutuhan psikologis dan motivasi otonom. Hasil evaluasi model pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel penelitian memiliki reliabilitas yang sangat baik dan validitas yang terjamin. Sementara itu, model struktural menunjukkan bahwa spiritualitas Islam tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap pencapaian mutu pendidikan, namun memberikan pengaruh positif melalui motivasi otonom dan kepuasan kebutuhan psikologis. Variabel kepuasan kebutuhan psikologis terbukti sebagai mediator yang paling berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Temuan ini mendukung teori JD-R dan SDT, serta mengusulkan bahwa spiritualitas Islam berfungsi sebagai sumber daya pribadi yang mempengaruhi kinerja. Penelitian ini juga menegaskan pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia di madrasah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Arah pengembangan lebih lanjut mencakup eksplorasi praktik spiritual dalam pendidikan sehari-hari serta hubungan antara spiritualitas dan perkembangan profesional guru
Peningkatan Kecerdasan Majemuk Anak Usia Dini Berbasis Teknologi Pembelajaran
The study purposes are to describe the learning process using information and communication technology to increase early childhood multiple intelligences. Technology cannot be separated from our lives thesedays, so researcher want to see how the technology help to increase multiple intelligences in the PAUD Halimatus Sa’diyah Kudus. The multiple intelligences are Logical-Mathematical Intelligences, Linguistic-Intelligences, Interpersonal Intelligences, Visual Spatial-Intelligences, Musical Intelligences, Bodily-Kinaesthetic Intelligences, Intrapersonal Intelligences, naturalist Intelligences, and existential Intelligences. This Multiple Intelligences reaches the top of the grow, when they are in the golden ages, in early childhood time. The research method used Qualitative research. Researchers interview The Headmaster, the teacher and the parents. The result are teachers use cell phones in their studies, teachers also use laptops to teach gymnastics and video stories according to the themes they are taught. The barrier to this research is that the equipment used is not yet provided by the school. The device is still the personal property of the teacher. Besides, children who is allowed to use their parents' cell phones at home, they will try to borrow teacher’s gadget. When the teachers teach them how to use gadget in perfect time, they will use to with these rules and learn calmly.AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan proses belajar menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan majemuk di masa kanak-kanak. Teknologi tak bisa lepas dari kehidupan saat ini, maka peneliti ingin melihat bagaimana teknologi tersebut bisa membantu meningkatkan kecerdasan majemuk di PAUD Halimatus Sa’diyah Kudus. Kecerdasan majemuk yang ingin dikembangkan adalah kecerdasan logis matematis, kecerdasan linguistik, kecerdasan interpersonal, kecerdasan visual spasial, kecerdasan musikal, kecerdasan kinestetik, kecerdasan intrapersonal, kecerdasan naturalis, kecerdasan eksistensial. Kecerdasan majemuk ini mencapai tingkatan maksimal saat dikembangkan di usia emas saat mereka adalah anak usia dini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Para peneliti melakukan wawancara dengan Kepala Sekolah, guru dan orang tua. Hasilnya adalah guru menggunakan gadget dalam studi mereka, guru juga menggunakan laptop untuk mengajar gimnastik dan cerita video sesuai dengan topik yang diajarkan. Kendala untuk penelitian ini adalah bahwa peralatan yang digunakan belum disediakan oleh sekolah. Peralatan masih menjadi milik pribadi guru. Selain itu, anak-anak yang terbiasa dengan rumah diizinkan untuk menggunakan gadget orang tua mereka maka disekolah, mereka akan berusaha meminjam gadget guru mereka. Dengan mengajari tentang bagaiman aturan penggunaan gadget dan bagaiman mempergunakan gadget sesuai dengan kebutuhan, membuat anak-anak terbiasa patuh pada aturan tersebut dan mereka bisa belajar dengan tenang
