    The purpose of this research was to reveal the evaluation of prostitution control in Palu based on the Local Regulation Number 21, 1998, and to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors of the growing prostitution practices in Palu based on the policy evaluation model by William N Dunn using these aspects: 1) effectiveness, 2) efficiency, 3) Adequateness, 4) Equality, 5) Responsiveness, and 6) Precision. This is a qualitative research. There were 7 informants taken purposively. These research shows that the implementation of the local regulation number 21, 1998 concerning the prohibition of prostitution acts and practices in Palu City was not optimal due to the fact that: 1) the team intended to control the prostitution did not work effectively, 2) the control of prostitution was not fair because of only focusing on prostitutes, not controlling the prostitution-related workers such as pimps and others. The inhibiting factors have made it less optimal such as the personnel was not strict in providing the punishment, the police persons and the city guards were not serious in doing theirs jobs and operational cost was insufficient

    This study aims to identify and analyze the relationship between direct and indirect between the effectiveness of internal control, equity compensation and understanding of government accounting standards for indications of fraud through the commitment of the organization as an intervening variable. The results showed that the seven hypotheses have met the statistical criteria for the analysis of PLS (Partial Least Squares). Respondents in this study is the head managers, Head of Sub Division of Finance, Treasurer and Treasurer Revenue Expenditure amounted to 140 people from each SKPD and techniques of data collection with questionnaires. The analytical tool used is the analysis of PLS (Partial Least Squares) with the help of statistical program WarpPLS version 2.0. The results showed that the seven hypotheses have met the statistical criteria for the analysis of PLS (Partial Least Squares). The results of this study stated that, directly or indirectly, the effectiveness of internal control, equity compensation and understanding of government accounting standards had a significant influence on the indication of fraud through the commitment of the organization as an intervening variable in financial managers in Central Sulawesi province

    The research aims to explore and analyze simultaneous and partial effects of local revenue, general allocation fund, and special allocation fund on fund equity. The sample consists of 11 regencies/cities in Central Sulawesi that is taken by using nonprobability sampling technique, The method of analysis is descriptive with multiple linier regressions analysis. The results show that the growth of local revenue in 3-year budget is higher than the growth of general allocation fund, special allocation fund and fund equity. Simultaneous test indicates that local revenue, general allocation fund and special allocation fund have positive and significant effects on fund equity. Partial test shows that local revenue, general allocation fund, and special allocation fund partially have significant effects on fund equity in 11 regencies/cities in Central Sulawesi. Coefficient determinant with Adjusted R-Square value of 0,361 shows that 36,10% of fund equity is affected by local revenue, general allocation fund, and special allocation fund,while the remaining value of 63,90% is affected by other variables that are not examined in this study

    The aim of the study is to determine variable that influence the quality of financial statements of local government. The quality of financial statement referring to four normative preconditions such as: relevance, reliable, comparable, and understandable. The independent variable include human resource capacity, utilization of local management information system technology, and implementation of government accounting standars. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaire to 53 govermental intitutions in Buol regency and also interviewing head of DPPKAD. Data analyzed with SPSS version 17,0 and microsoft exel. Hytesis tested with multiple linier regresion analysis. The results show that, first, human resource capacyti, utilization of local management information system technology, implementation of gevernment standars simultaneously have positive and signivicant influence on the quality of the local government financial statements. Secon, human resource capacity has no positive and significant influence on the local management information system technology, implementation of government accounting standars partially have positive and significant influence on the quality of the local government financial statements

    The problem in this research is the level of performance of agricultural extension is not maximized therefore the study aims to determine the results of the performance of the agricultural extension at the Institute of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry Extension Siniu District of Parigi Moutong district. In this study used qualitative research methods. Where the results of such work can be related to the quality, quantity, effectiveness, timeliness and independence that emphasize the final result (come out) obtained in carrying out the work as agricultural extension activities. The fifth element of the appearance of the above characteristics related to the field of agricultural extension tasks mostly been shown in the implementation of their respective duties agricultural extension. But both elements are: quality and timeliness is not optimal implemented by most agricultural extension. Informants in this study were 8 people. Data analysis techniques as usual qualitative research, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Results showed the five elements relative performance has been carried out, although there are two elements is still not optimal to run. This means we need a policy discipline lead in promoting agricultural extension in order to carry out tasks that emphasize on enhancing the quality of work extension, as well as in performing the task should be timely

    The aims of the study are: 1) to determine partial influence of leadership styles, compensation, and work enviroment on official’s performance in Palu City; 2) to determine simultaneous influence of leadership styles, compensation, and work enviroment on official’s performance in Palu City.The study intends to verify the relationship between variables by involving 77 respondents who were selected through purposive sampling method. The results conclude that: 1) variables of leadership styles, compensation, and work enviroment simultaneously have influence on official’s performance with signifficance of 0.000; 2) coefficient determinant shows adjusted R square of 0.359 that indicates that 35.90% of official’s performance in influenced by leadership styles, compensation, and work enviroment, while the rest is influenced by other variables that are not studied; 3) artial test shows that leadership styles, compensation, and work enviroment have signifficant influence on official’s performance with signifficant value of 0.004, 0.001, and 0.023 respectively

The results showed that of the five indicators to measure performance In the Village Consultative Body Function Implementation Legislation in District Talatako using Agus Dwiyanto theory that productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability. The performance of the five indicators, three indicators of productivity, quality of service and responsiveness not working well or still worse. While responsibility and accountability is already well underway. It can be concluded that the performance in the Village Consultative Body Function Implementation Legislation in District Talatako Tojo Una-Una is still not good
