    Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan minat baca adalah membudayakan kegiatan literasi dikalangan anak-anak. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah menyediakan sarana dan prasarana literasi anak. Beberapa komunitas di masyarakat di Kota Padang sudah mencanangkan budaya literasi, diantaranya Komunitas Tanah Ombak dan Komunitas Lentera Kuning. Komunitas Tanah Ombak sebagai mitra 1 dan Komunitas Lentera Kuning sebagai mitra 2 sudah mencangkan budaya literasi dengan menyediakan sarana perpustakaan. Buku-buku diperpustkaan banyak dibaca anak-anak, tetapi kegiatan membaca tersebut hanya untuk bermain. Kegiatan membaca akan lebih bermakna jika dikaitkan dengan pengetahuan sehingga dapat menunjang kemampuan akademik anak-anak Tanah Ombak dan Lentera Kuning. Metode yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra dilakukan dengan pembinaan kegiatan membaca yang bermakna dengan menerapkan strategi Cognitive Academic Language Learning Approach (CALLA). Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut cukup baik, yaitu adanya peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan membaca pemahaman dari sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan kegiatan literasi dengan Strategi CALLA

    The 2013 curriculum requires the teaching of each subjects are integrated, known,. This means that on one theme may link some subjects in it. After evaluating in implementation, curriculum  2013 revised edition provides the exceptions of teaching mathematics to be taught in separate. The main problems faced by teachers, especially in the teaching of mathematics are; less mastering the basic concepts of mathematics, there are still materials that do not know taught and often there are math problems that are difficult to solve. This devotional activity aims to help upper class teachers in the sub district of Bacukiki Town of Parepare (partner)  in understanding the basic concepts of mathematics, helping to solve problems that are considered difficult and difficult math material taught.Activities in the form of workshops reinforcement of mathematical material on groups of partner teachers. Interactive teaching methods, joint research and self-assignment proved to improve knowledge and understanding of basic mathematical concepts for partner teachers

    The results of the situation analysis related to mathematics learning in 2 partner schools in the cluster II of the West Amanuban sub-district, namely SD Inpres Oenali and SD Inpres Oefatu showed that the implementation of abstract mathematics learning and sticking to textbooks was very minimal, the existence of mathematics teaching aids was minimal, the teacher's ability in the manufacture of mathematics teaching aids is still lacking, KKG meetings and district-level trainings are more directed at learning administration activities and have not touched on the essence of mathematics learning such as teaching aids design. The solution to this problem is the transfer of science and technology to teachers in the form of mentoring in the making and application of mathematics teaching aids. The method of implementing this activity is in the form of training and mentoring carried out by adopting action research steps through four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and evaluating and reflecting. The results of this activity are increasing the ability and skills of teachers in the making and application of mathematics teaching aids that allow students to do mathematical activities by using teaching aids in classroom learning

    Pendampingan Aplikasi Chem Draw untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Guru dalam Menerapkan Bahan Ajar Student Centered Berbasis Informatika

    Kualitas karakter, kompetensi dan literasi dasar sehingga peserta didik cakap dalam memecahkan masalah, berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, dan berkomunikasi merupakan kecakapan yang dibutuhkan di abad 21. Studi ini bertujuan mengetahui hasil dari pelaksanaan pelatihan yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas karakter, kompetensi dan literasi dasar profesionalisme guru di abad 21. Pelatihan tersebut ialah pendampingan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan bahan ajar Student Centered berbasis informatika melalui aplikasi Chem Draw. Pelatihan ditujukan ke guru MI dan SMP di Depok sebanyak lebih kurang 30 peserta. Dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan telah diperoleh data kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan bahan ajar Student Centered berbasis informatika melalui penggunaan aplikasi Chem Draw. Sebanyak 63,34% peserta mendapatkan nilai di bawah 60, sedangkan yang mendapatkan nilai di atas 60 hanyalah sebanyak 36,66%. Peserta yang mendapatkan nilai di atas 60 semuanya dari guru MI. Guru MI yang mendapatkan nilai di atas 60 lebih banyak dari guru kelas, dimana guru kelas adalah guru yang mengampu hampir semua mata pelajaran di kelas. Berdasarkan hasil pengisian angket tampak jelas bahwa rata-rata seluruh persentase tanggapan positif lebih besar dari 70% dari jumlah total guru MI dan SMP. Dari uraian hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan berhasil memenuhi tujuannya

    This study aims to determine the application of the contextul approach (CTL) performed a lecturer in improving student learning outcomes in learning PKn1. This is done to determine the direction and policies in improving student learning outcomes On learning PKn1. This study uses kualitiatif approach, this type of research is action class research which is located in Prodi PGSD UNM Kampus Parepare. Site selection based on the consideration of researchers looked at the application of a contextual approach to teaching and learning (CTL) in a Civics course, the lecturers are still less able to be applied properly. The study procedures that (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. Data collection techniques used in this study include (1) observation, (2) Documentation, (3) Interview, (4) tests. Data analysis is an effort to improve student learning outcomes with the application of a contextual approac. The results on initial tests showed that students' ability to understand the subject matter is still lacking in that category, after learning showed a significant increase with the evaluation results on the cycle I was on the qualifications sufficient (c), continued research on the cycle II because researchers have not puasdengan results obtained in cycle I, the evaluation results on the second cycle showed a significant increase in the category of very good results. This shows that the application of a contextual  approach  to  learning PKn1 can improve learning outcomes of students in Prodi PGSD UNM Kampus Parepare

    Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Melalui Problem Based Learning berbasis Critical Thinking

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika kelas III SDN Salatiga 1 melalui model Problem Based Learning berbasis Critical Thinking. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan variabel tunggal, yaitu hasil belajar kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika kelas III. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, lembar aktivitas siswa, lembar observasi. Data hasil tes dan pengamatan dianalisis dengan teknik stastistik deskriptif berupa rata-rata hitung dan persentase. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika kelas III tergolong baik. Namun untuk mewujudkan harapan orangtua yang tertuang dalam program sekolah menjadi sekolah unggul, perlu adanya peningkatan hasil belajar. Sekolah dianggap unggul jika telah melampui standar nasional dan di atas dari yang sekolah lain. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, dapat direkomendasikan kepada semua pihak dalam dunia pendidikan agar lebih berupaya dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbasis Critical Thinking. Peningkatan penelitian ini dapat terlihat dari nilai rata-rata 83,64 dengan presentase ketuntasan 82% pada siklus I menjadi nilai rata-rata 91,07 dengan presentase ketuntasan 90% pada siklus II.  Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbasis Critical Thinking pada setiap siklus

    MIM Jagalan (1950) and MIM Jumoyo (1968) is a Basic Education Institution in Salam Sub-district, Magelang. Although it has been half a century established, but until now still experiencing a number of obstacles, among which are 1) the low knowledge and understanding of the National Education Standards (SNP) so that the impact on the implementation of quality education process; 2) the existence of gaps in the implementation of primary education (MI and SD) in Salam District Magelang regency; 3) The objective conditions of teachers and human resources and the resources of instructional media for educational visual aids (APE) so as to impact on the limitations in supporting quality learning process; 4) The lack of support of madrasah stakeholders in the development of madrasah both morally and materially. In relation to this matter, it is a community service activity that aims to improve the quality of madrasah to madrasah with quality education process. The method to be used in the achievement of the objective is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) participatory community empowerment model. The method is divided into three stages: preparation, implementation and mentoring, and preparation of reports. The preparation phase begins with permission, preparation through Forum Group Discussion (FGD) division of implementing tasks with partners. Implementation phase begins with socialization, SNP evaluation, document quality assurance, APE development assistance, strategy training and learning method, final stage of preparation of final report

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meminimalkan kesalahan-kesalahan pada pembelajaran, meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika siswa Kelas III khususnya pada Kompetensi Dasar “Operasi Hitung Campuran, dan melatih siswa agar terampil menggunakan media. Manfaat penelitian ini bagi guru yakni terampil dalam menggunakan alat peraga/media Kartu Domino dan menerapkan metode diskusi. Bagi siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuanya menerima pelajaran Matematika pada Kompetensi Dasar “Operasi Hitung Campuran”. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang timbul sebagai upaya pemecahanya adalah dilaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dibagi dalam dua siklus.Simpulan yang diperoleh setelah penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan alat peraga kongkrit/media Kartu Domino dan metode diskusi hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat

    Bullies assume that violence and intimidation are compatible to be applied as the problem solving to achive they wish. This encourages violence properties that will carry over into adulthood. Thus unwittingly making school or other educational institution as a training ground for potential thugs who would later become their profession adulthood. Widely accepted definition is that a state that the student is doing the bullying when a child repeatedly and at all times behave negatively to one or more other children. Here is a negative action when someone intentionally hurt or try to hurt, or make someone uncomfortable. The point is not directly implied in the definition of aggressive behavior. This can affect the character of the child to grow up, the character is moral and mental qualities that formation is influenced by congenital factors (natural) and environment (socialization or Education - nurture). Islam provides a potential explanation that has good character of human beings before birth, but this potential must be constantly nurtured through socialization and Islamic religious education in schools, while Islamic religious education should be done in a planned, systematic and measurable in order to prevent and deal with bullying behavior child
