Result shows that body weight at group control 3120.00±431 whereas at treatment group 3193.33±257 with value p=0.57. Circumference of baby head newborn at control group: 31.20±431 and treatment group: 33.07±997 with value p=0.743. Conclusion there is a asignificant difference between control group and treatment group in body weight but not in circumference of baby head

Shortage of flour in the water can cause dental caries, and if the excess flour can cause spots on tooth enamel formation occurs at the time of the email (fluorosis). For it is necessary for the measurement of fluorine content of drinking water. Measurement of tissue levels of flour local water company in the study was conducted at nine locations including sources of water, well pump, and installation of network local water company in District Sumbersari Jember. This study was undertaken to know about the effect of adrenalin addition 1:80,000 in Lidocain 2% on blood pressure in dental clinical use. Material and Methods: A total of 222 healthy volunteers were included in this randomized double blind clinical trial. They were locally injected as block anaesthesia of the lower jaw. Blood pressure (diastole and systole) is measuremed pre and 5minutes post injected. Result: Mean of blood pressure pre injected 110.14/74.77 mmHg, and blood pressure 5 minutes post injected 111.14/74.35 mmHg. There was statistical and clinical not significantly difference on diastole (p>0.05). There was statistical significantly difference on systole (p<0.05) but noton clinical only 1 mmHg differenc

Validity is an index which shows that the measurement equipment measures the data correctly. Validity test may use product moment correlation technique for each score questionnaire’s numbers with total score (total of score questionnaire). Instrument is valid if correlation value (pearson correlation) is positive, and probability value [sig. (2-tailed)] is less than significant value (α 0,05). Reliability is index which show that equipment research can be to beleaved and trade on. Reliability test may use Cronbach’s Alpha method. The questionnaire is reliable if Cronbach’s Alpha value is more than r table value

Get PDFMental retardation or commonly known as Mental Retardation (RM) is characterized by general intelligence functions that are below average and is accompanied by reduced ability to adapt or behave in adaptive. As a result of the disorder can affect the growth and development. The purpose of this study was todetermine the nutritional status of patients with RM. This study is an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional data retrieval. The study population is students SLB Dharma Wanita Sidoarjo regency. Large study sample was 37 students were randomly taken proportionately based on the severity of the RM. The data retrieved are age, TB and BB. Further data are calculated using the nutritional status of index TB / U and BB / U based on the size of the Z-score WHO NCHS. Analysis of the data using Kruskal Wallis test followed by Mann-Whitney test. Statistical test results showed that there are significant differences in the examination of TB / U in 3 groups of RM. But on examination BB / U data analysis showed no significant difference. Furthermore, the data TB / U were analyzed again using the Mann-Whitney test and found that there are significant differences between mild to RM medium and heavy. There is no official standard measure of nutritional status of patients with RM, so that the measurement is compared to the size of the WHO standard. In anthropometry, most RM patients included in the normal range and tend to be obese. RM moderate and severe sufferers tend to be different, because the more complex as well etiology factors consequences thereof. Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to provide controlled release dosage by avoiding first pass metabolism and enzymatic degradation. Propranolol hydrochloride mucoadhesive buccal tablets was prepared by direct compression method using carbopol and CMC Na as buccal mucoadhesive polymer. Buccal mucoadhesive strength measured using buccal mucosa of gout. Testing the release of propranolol hydrochloride was determined by dissolution test using phosphate buffer solution pH 6,8 for 8 hours. Dissolution efficiency (DE) was calculated to describe the overall release profiles and used in determining the optimum response. The optimum region is determined using factorial design with the design criteria of response force for 20-40 grams of mucoadhesive buccal and DE480 between 45-55%. The amount of carbopol that can provide the optimum response is between the range of 53,27-55 mg while the amount of CMC Na can provie the optimum response range is between 70-100 mg
