    This study aimed to analyze the marketing channels on the traditional’s marketing channel through intermediary traders and to analyze the marketing channel through farmer’s are reviewed from a marketing margin spread, farmer share, and to find out which channels more efficient in Mandor District, Landak Regency. This research shows that the marketing margin in channel II is fewer than channel I and the farmer’s share in channel II is larger than channel I.  So this research conclude that the marketing channels II (via farmer’s group) is more efficient compared to the channel I (through intermediary traders) in the Mandor District of Landak regency. On the marketing channel I, the marketing process is still efficient but the farmers receive less price share than in channel II. On the marketting channel II become priority because its more efficient, the farmers receive more profit.Keywords: Marketing rubber, margin, efficienc

    Strategi Pengembangan Agribisnis Gula Aren Di Kabupaten Sekadau

    Aren is a type of palm that has a highly potential economic value. Semabi, Sekadau Hilir Sub-district is the largest producer in the District of Sekadau; however, it is only processed to produce molded sugar. This study aimed to formulate a strategy for the  palm sugar agrybusiness development in Sekadau District. The research method was a   quantitative descriptive, and the data were processed using IFE/EFE, SPACE and SWOT. The values obtained from IFE and EFE matrixes were 2.57 and 2.65 respectively. From the SWOT analysis, alternative strategies were obtained, namely, SO Strategy: expanding the location of the area sugar palm cultivation, increasing production capacity, and improving the quality of product. WO Strategy: increasing of human resources (farmers), developing a partnership and developing a market information network. ST Strategy: government policies that supporting, increasing the added value and production. WT Strategy: building a support facility of   sugar palm agribusiness, increasing coordination and cooperation among stakeholders in strengthening palm agribusiness, and increasing marketing and promotion for the expansion.  Keyword: Aren (palm),  agrybusiness, IFE/EFE matrixes, SPACE matrix, and SWOT analysis

    The purpose of this research is to describe the factor of imitation behavior of women farmers on the decission making process for their farm management. This research was conducted with descriptive method to describe the relation between social environment and the farming decissions making for women farmers who cultivated horticulture on the peatland area at Limbung Village, Kubu Raya District. The result of the research showed that on the imitation behavior factor related to the decission making process by women farmers based on the social environment. Eventhough not all the decission was based on the behavior of other farmers, but the women farmers still considered other farmers decission.     ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL USAHA PEMBUATAN TEMPE KEDELAI SKALA MIKRO DI KECAMATAN SEMARANG BARAT

    This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the financial business of making micro-scale tempeh in Semarang Barat Sub-district in 2018. This research is a quantitative study using a survey method with 30 respondents with criteria as experts in business tempeh agrondustry in Semarang Barat Sub-district. Investment feasibility analysis uses Net Present Value (NPV) analysis, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and R / C Ratio analysis to find out whether there is a business tempeh agroindustry in Semarang Barat Sub-district that is feasible or not. The results of the feasibility analysis of tempe making business for 3 years, the business tempeh agroindustry is feasible to be developed, this is based on the results of research that shows the NPV (+) value of Rp. 61,730,980 which shows that the industry is feasible for investment. While the IRR (65.8%)> interest rates on commercial bank loans (DF = 11%) indicate that the business of making tempe is feasible for investment. And the value of R / C ratio (1.156)> 1, which means that the business tempeh agroindustry in Semarang Barat sub-district is feasible.Keywords : Agroindutsry, Financial feasibility, Tempe

    This study examines the strategic comoditas price movements of food and  food price volatility of strategic comoditas include sugar, eggs, cooking oil, onion and chilli major upset in the Market  Famboyan Pontianak. Quantitative analysis and modeling methods Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARMA), evaluation models korelogram ACF and PACF and strategic analysis of commodity price volatility sugar, eggs, cooking oil, onion and chilli furious with Heteroscedasticity Conditional Autoregressive models (ARCH). Here are the results the development of strategic commodity price red chili, onion, cooking oil, sugar and eggs in the last 5 years ie in 2010 and 2014 showed that certain strategic commodity prices are highly volatile. Weekly food commodity prices in the market positioned Flamboyan Pontianak to commodity sugar, eggs, cooking oil, onion and chilli major upset occurred volatile. It is evident that since the reform of commodity prices weekly positioned in Pontianak Flamboyan market so volatile commodity prices occurs. Even the prices of strategic commodities sugar and red chili, volatilasnya improvement tends to be sustained. Factors affecting price volatility in commodity markets staregis flamboyant pontianak the previous period and the volatility of the price of a variant of the previous period. So it can be interpreted if the prices of strategic commodities today are the price and the residual value of the price variance is relatively large, then the level of strategic commodity prices tomorrow will tend to be large.Keywords: commodity prices, price volatility, arma model, arch mode

    PERAN PERUM BULOG DALAM PEMASARAN BERAS DI KABUPATEN WAJO

    The purpose of this research is to analyze the marketing margin of rice that generated by farmers on Belawa, Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi Province. This research used cross-section data based on the time dimension. This research used snowball sampling to determine the sample. There are 25 people as respondent sample. This study used in-depth interview method, and analysis tools such as marketing’s margin function, classic assumption test, F-test, and t-test. Public Corporation Logistics Agency (Bulog) acts as a provider of rice in the form of realization to meet food. Bulog is expected to control the supply and distribution of grain and rice in region IV of Wajo sub-division. There are four grain/rice marketing channels on Belawa, Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Bulog has not played a sufficient role in the grain/rice marketing channel on Belawa, Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi Province; even though the highest marketing margin is Rp 4,167/kg with a 52.75% farmer share.Keywords: Bulog, Marketing, Rice

    Market was an important things in economic especially traditional market, which many vegetable street vendors sell in this market everyday. Every single of them have to pay many cost meanwhile the vegetable which they sell was cheap. The aim of this research to know the profile of the vegetable street vendors in the traditional market of Kemiri, Medan Kota District, Medan City. This research used structured interview methods and in-depth interviews. The number of samples of vegetable street vendors was 10 sample. The results showed that trade income was enough for daily expenses, the education of vegetable street vendors children was fulfilled, all vegetable traders had decent house and all vegetable traders had good health. However, there’s something have to noticed they don’t have of legal certainty in trading, the widespread practiced of illegal levies, there’s absences of training and assistance from the government in trading, and social interaction with neighbors who have never been carried out.Keywords : Vegetable, Street Vendor, Traditional Markets, Social, Economic

    ASPEK PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP DAN KETERAMPILAN PADA RESPON PETANI TERHADAP UPJA DI KECAMATAN TOHO

    The use of agricultural tools and machinery has become a primary needs of farmers in processing and increasing their farming production, this activity encourages the emergence of agricultural tools and machinery service unit (UPJA) that has an intention in assistaining farmers in achieving time and energy efficiency and also in order to overcome scarcity of farmer resources in processing their farming. However, the delayed development of UPJA in several regions has encouraged this research in order to analyze farmers' responses to the use of agricultural tools and machinery service unit. Research method: This study was conducted at the Bukit Raya UPJA Village Pak Leheng Toho District from January - March 2018. This research used the descriptive analysis data, which was displayed in table form with several categories that have been determined based on aspects of knowledge, attitude, and skills. Response measurements were carried out using a Likert scale (scoring) with a score of 1-5. The results of the all of the farmer showed that the response analysis from the aspects of knowledge, attitude, and skills of UPJA Bukit Raya amounted to 3.48 in the good category, which means that farmers generally gave a good respond to the existence of the UPJA Bukit Raya Village, in Pak Leheng Village, Toho District.Keywords: Agricultural Machinery, Farmer Energy Efficiency, Likert Scal

    ANALISIS KELAYAKAN INVESTASI PERUSAHAAN PERKEBUNAN PT. LADANG SAWIT KENDAWANGAN DI KABUPATEN KETAPANG

    Investments in oil palm plantations should be carefully and thoroughly, because the large funding needs and continuous fund spending. The research goal is to determine the feasibility investment Ladang Sawit Kendawangan Plantation on condition decline of CPO and Kernel selling prices. This reseach used a combination of secondary data from relevant agencies and primary data by collecting some opinions from the plantation Manager and  Ladang Sawit Kendawangan Plantation employee subdistrict Kendawangan in Ketapang.The analysis method used is the investment criteria analysis which consists Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net B / C Ratio, Payback Periods and Sensitivity Analysis. The results from analysis feasibility of PT. Ladang Sawit Kendawangan Plantation an area of 2,485 Ha are still feasible, the feasibility level is indicated by the value of NPV  Rp 56,553,315,900 for 25 years earning period, IRR 22.05%, Net B / C ratio 1.24 and a payback period 4.6 years, The results of the sensitivity analysis with three scenarios: 1) a decrease in the price of CPO and Kernel 10%. 2) 10% increase in input costs. and 3) a decrease and cost increase of respectively 10%, showed the plantation is still feasible.Keywords : Investment Feasibility, Sensitivity analysis, Ladang Sawit Kendawangan Plantatio
