The practicality results of the QR code-based practicum manual were 95.09%, the results of students 'mastery of concepts were 8437%, and the results of students' science process skills were 85.59%. Based on the results of the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Biology students and teachers at Public Middle School 2 Samarinda, it can be concluded that the QR code-based practicum manual on Biology Science learning is suitable for use as a practical learning media
PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE SMARTPHONE ADICTION OF ISLAMIC SCHOOL STUDENTS
Smartphone addiction is a phenomenon that is developing very fast due to easy accessibility and unique internet-based applications. This study aims to determine the effect of psychological factors (self-control, loneliness, and sensation seeking) on smartphone addiction amongst Islamic school (madrasah) students. This study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 327 students of Islamic School (Madrasah) taken with a non-probability sampling technique. Measuring instruments used in this study were Smartphone Addiction Scale (SAS), 24 Attitudinal Items, UCLA Loneliness Scale, and Sensation Seeking Scale V. Data analysis techniques used multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of the study indicated a significant influence of self-control, loneliness, and sensation seeking on smartphone addiction. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, there are four significant variables, namely self-control, intimate others, social others, and boredom susceptibility. Other variables such as affiliation, belonging, thrill, adventure, and experience seeking are not significant to smartphone addiction

EFFECTIVENESS OF SYNTHETIC-BASED CREATIVE WRITING LEARNING MODEL: (Improving Students' Writing and Creative Thinking Skills)
This research was conducted as an effort to develop a learning model that can improve students' writing skills. The underlying problem of research is the gap between curriculum demands and the condition of students' writing ability is still low. The fundamental problem in this research is how is the model of creative writing learning in accordance with the characteristics of students and how also the learning model is synergized with the synthetic approach. Therefore, this study develops a creative learning model based on synthetic writing to improve writing skills through learning activities in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum. To answer the above problems used research and development methods (research and development), namely research that uses a process to develop the validity of educational products. Developed products include not only learning materials but also procedures and processes defined such as methods, media, learning organizing strategies, and evaluations. The product that will be generated from this research is a creative learning model based on syntheti
