Simulasi Kontrol 2 Pompa Supplay Air Bersih Menggunakanrelay Change Over Dan Floatless Level Switch (Sebagai Modul Praktek Mahasiswa Ps Teknik Pendingin Dan Tata Udara)
Sistem supplay air bersih pasti ada dipasang disuatu gedung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan modul praktek mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Pendingin dalam mata Kuliah Praktek Utility Gedung dan BAS. Sehingga kompetensi mahasiswa tentang utility gedung, khususnya dibidang system pompa supplai air bersih bisa tercapai dengan lebih mudah. Modul praktek ini menggunakan 2 buah pompa, 2 buah tangki air, 1 sebagai tangki sebagai tangki underground tank dan 1 lagi sebagai tower tank. Menggunakan WLC (water level control) untuk mengontrol hidup mati pompa berdasarkan level air pada tangki tower. Dan menggunakan Relay Change over untuk merubah pompa on duty secara otomatis. Hasil uji kerja alat simulasi ini, saat level air pada tangki tower low level, Pompa 1 akan hidup sampai level air mencapai upper level dan akan Off, secara otomatis Relay change over merubah pompa on duty dari Pompa 1 ke Pompa 2. Pada saat level air mencapai low level lagi di tangki tower, yang hidup adalah Pompa 2
Penyediaan Air Bersih Mandiri Permukiman Pesisir Kota Balikpapan berdasarkan Tingkatan Partisipasi
Kelurahan Baru Tengah is a sub-district in Kecamatan Balikpapan Barat which is the coastal area. This sub- district is dominated by settlement activities. Based on the Spatial Plan of Balikpapan City Year 2012-2032, the target of providing the needs of clean water of Balikpapan Barat reach 100% in 2030. However, Kelurahan Baru Tengah is an area that until now the providing of clean water needs has not been evenly distributed. In addition, there has been no guidance of community participation in the provision of clean water in this area. This study aims to formulate the guidance of the water supply community-based participation by using Analytical Hierarchy Process. The result of the analysis that has been done is the communities in Kelurahan Baru Tengah can participate at the level of Delegated Power in the form of their idea. The results obtained from this research are expected to be a reference for the provision of clean water in Kelurahan Baru Tengah which involves local community participation.Keywords : clean water provision, community participation, coastal area, analytical hierarchy process
Kuat Tekan Batako Ringan dengan Material Latrit dan Foam Agent
This research intends to improve laterite material as an alternative filler composite mortar bricks, began with analyzing substitution of mortar sand composite, to its concrete mortar composite according to characteristic and compressive strength, as comparison for common bricks building materials had done. This research was pointed, to maximize the bricks compressive strength with laterite addition by experiment method. Samples were made with two variations, which is normally and laterite bricks (as sand substitution is 50%) and the compressive strength gain normal mixture was at 25,09 kg/cm2. Meanwhile, by using 50% bricks substitution and 50% sand substitution, the results was 28,56 kg/cm2. It can be assumed that compressive strength material can increase the compressive strength
Investigasi Proses Kristalisasi Logam Paduan Amorphous Mg58Cu31Gd11
Bulk Metallic Glass (BMG) gains attractions as a candidate for future material in various applications due to its physical and mechanical properties. The fundamental characterization of the crystallization of Mg58Cu31Gd11 has been performed using in-situ synchrotron radiation technique complemented with differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The glass transition temperature was detected and the occurrence of two step crystallization found during the process. The existence of Mg2Cu and other more complex compound is suggested. Analisa Potensi Angin Dan Cahaya Matahari Sebagai Alternatif Sumber Tenaga Listrik Di Wilayah Laut Sawu
Perairan laut Sawu yang terdiri dari Pulau Kupang, Sumba, Rote, Sawu dan Timor memiliki potensi sumber daya energi terbarukan yang berasal dari angin dan intensitas cahaya. Energi tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber pembangkit listrik yang ramah lingkungan untuk industri pelayaran, termasuk kapal feri yang merupakan moda transportasi utama untuk menjamin konektivitas wilayah laut Sawu. Untuk dapat memanfaatkan energi terbarukan di kapal, maka analisa potensi angin dan cahaya matahari perlu dilakukan termasuk skema distribusi daya pada kapal feri tersebut. Penelitian ini membahas pengolahan data kecepatan angin dan intensitas cahaya yang diperoleh dari BMKG setempat. Proses perhitungan daya dilakukan dengan metode distribusi probabilitas Rayleigh untuk mengetahui nilai optimal yang dihasilkan oleh turbin angin dan modul surya yang kemudian disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan daya untuk penerangan dan navigasi pada space kapal feri eksisting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa satu unit turbin angin dapat menghasilkan 13.3 kWh sedangkan panel surya sebesar 2.62 kWh per unit. Sehingga dengan menggunakan 4 unit turbin angin dan 56 unitpanel surya sesuai dengan space yang tersedia di kapal feri eksisting, dapat menghasilkan daya sebesar 200.08 kWh yang dapat digunakan untuk suplai kebutuhan listrik untuk penerangan dan navigas
Analisis Pengendalian Kualitas dengan Menggunakan First Pass Yield dan Fishbone Diagram Pada PT X
Industrial competition in the current global industrial era is not only influenced by product prices but also influenced by customer satisfaction with the products, one of the factors that influence customer satisfaction is the quality of the products, for which quality control is needed. This studies aims to measure the level of quality control as seen from the percentage of defective products and customer satisfaction. This research was conducted at PT X which is a cable producing company. The method used in this studies is the First Pass Yield to measure the percentage of defective products, Customer Complaints and production claims related to the quality of raw materials & haspels to measure customer satisfaction through questionnaires. From data processing, the average value of First Pass Yield is 94.2% which indicates the average rate of defective products per month is 5.8%. Customer complaints show customers are not satisfied with the Non Standard Length relating to the marker and cable length. So as to improve product competitiveness we provide several improvement proposals based on the fault categoriesthat arise
Perhitungan Lampu Penerangan Jalan Berbasis Solar System
Artikel ini disusun berdasarkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) yang pernah dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Darun Nafi KM.34 Samboja Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan adalah pemasangan lampu penerangan jalan berbasis solar system. Proses perhitungan dan pengujian lampu penerangan jalan berbasis solar system akan dibahas di dalam artikel ini. Lampu penerangan jalan menggunakan lampu dc 12 Volt, panel surya 50 Wp, charge control 10 A, dan battery 65 Ah. Lampu penerangan jalan digunakan selama 12 jam
Efektifitas Material Akustik Pengendali Kebisingan pada Ruang Genset di Pusat Perbelanjaan di Gorontalo
Shopping centers construction have to do a good building management so it would have a comfort for visitors. One of comfort things that should get the attention is audial comfort. In Gorontalo City, Most of the electricity users choose to use electricity from Generator set supply, this results an increase in noise. The rotors of the electrical generators basically can be controlled by the use of box silent that has been specially designed so that it can prevent noise. In addition on the control of noise to the same type of chambers electrical generators may also be convened with arranging in layer interior of the same type of chambers with the material acoustic absorbed sound. The use of acoustic material sound-absorbent can work effectively with right material, in accordance with the degree of hardness sound taking place in the room. This research takes the generator chamber in one of shopping centers in Gorontalo. Generator chamber in this study has been tasted in two treatment tests of space generator. In first test, the wall of the coated material dampers from Styrofoam with thickness 2 cm, and obtained percent reduction noise of 8,32 % , While in the second test by using layers Styrofoam and rugs are able to reduce noise into 17,58 %. The final result of the research found is that the previous noise of 95db can be reduced to 78,3db
Model Penyelesaian Determinan Matriks dengan Metode Eliminasi Gauss Melalui Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB)
AbstractMatrix determinant with the order 2 x 2 and 3 x 3 can be determined by certainly formula (Sarrus method). Nevertheless, that method can’t be used and applied to solve the biggest case such as matrix with order up on it. The Gauss eliminations method is used to finish the matrix determinant with the order 4 x 4 and 5 x 5 by using MATLAB. The calculation results show that the new matrix is produced by row operation elementary like that addition and subtraction between the row have the same determinant. The resulting new matrix determinant from the operation of the exchange between the rows of the matrix has the distinction of beginning so needs to be multiplied by -1. The number of -1 timer involved depending on the multiplicity of exchanges between the line that performed well in the initial matrix or matrix of operating results given. Walaupun demikian, metode tersebut tidak dapat digunakan dan diterapkan untuk memecahkan kasus yang lebih besar misalnya matriks yang berordo di atasnya. Metode eliminasi Gauss digunakan untuk menyelesaikan determinan matriks berordo 4 x 4 dan 5 x 5 dengan menggunakan MATLAB. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa matriks baru yang dihasilkan dari operasi baris elementer seperti penjumlahan dan pengurangan antar baris memiliki determinan sama. Determinan matriks baru yang dihasilkan dari operasi pertukaran antar baris memiliki perbedaan dari matriks awal sehingga perlu dikalikan oleh -1. Banyaknya pengali -1 yang dilibatkan bergantung dari banyaknya pertukaran antar baris yang dilakukan baik pada matriks awal maupun matriks baru dari hasil operasi yang diberikan.Kata kunci : Model Penyelesaian, Determinan, Matriks, MATLA
Pengoptimalan Air Leri dalam Pembuatan Sabun Pembersih Wajah Alami yang Ekonomis
AbstractSoap facial cleanser is needed to keep the facial skin to keep them clean and healthy. The purpose of this study to make soap cleanser with natural materials such as hard water deposits leri. This is because the use of leri water starch or starch granules of fine particles contained in water leri dansel dust can shed the dead skin on the face because of the essential amino acids contained can regenerate skin cells. In addition, water leri can brighten the face because the leri water oryzanol contain substances that can update the development and formation of the pigment melanin, which is effectively to ward off ultraviolet rays. The process of making soap using the principle of saponification reaction, namely the reaction between the oil and the KOH/NaOH. Facial cleansing soap made in this study is solid soap. Based on the results of quality test, soap solid leri water has a pH of 11.1, saponification number is 33, the water content of 46% as well as respondents to the test aspects of aroma and foam shows good results so this water leri treatment can be an alternative solution to prevent the use of soap facial cleansers that contain harmful chemicals. Keywords: air leri, soap cleanser, saponification AbstrakSabun pembersih wajah sangat diperlukan untuk menjaga kulit wajah agar tetap bersih dan sehat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk membuat sabun pembersih wajah dengan bahan alami berupa endapan air leri. Penggunaan air leri ini dikarenakan butiran partikel starch atau pati halus yang terdapat dalam air leri dapat merontokkan debu dansel kulit mati pada wajah karena asam amino esensial yang terkandung dapat meregenerasi sel-sel kulit. Selain itu, air leri dapat mencerahkan wajah karena air leri mengandung zat oryzanol yang dapat memperbarui perkembangan dan pembentukan pigmen melanin, yang efektif guna menangkal sinar ultraviolet. Proses pembuatan sabun menggunakan prinsip reaksi saponifikasi, yaitu reaksi antara minyak dan KOH/NaOH. Sabun pembersih wajah yang dibuat dalam penelitian ini ialah sabun padat. Berdasarkan hasil uji mutu, sabun air leri padat memiliki pH 11,1, angka penyabunan sebesar 33 kadar air 46 kadar air 46 % serta uji responden terhadap aspek aroma dan busa yang menunjukkan hasil cukup baik sehingga pengolahan air leri ini dapat menjadi solusi alternative untuk mencegah penggunaan sabun pembersih wajah yang mengandung bahan kimia berbahaya. Kata kunci: air leri, sabun pembersih wajah, saponifikasi
