    Penerapan Internet of Things Untuk Monitoring Kinerja Sensor Untuk Deteksi Dini Kebakaran

    Fire can happen anytime and anywhere without knowing it will happen. Fire incidents can cause significant losses, both material losses and human losses. Fires can occur due to various factors from electrical short circuits to individual negligence which can cause sparks that can result in the formation of a fire triangle that causes fire. This study aims to create an effective fire detection system by utilizing distributed multi-sensor technology in a microcontroller and then sent to the cloud so that it can be monitored in real time. The method in this research stage starts from needs analysis, design, implementation, integration & testing, verification, maintenance. The system built utilizes various sensors, namely the MQ135 smoke sensor, UVTron fire sensor, DS18B20 temperature sensor, BME280 air humidity sensor, wind speed and direction sensors. The data collected from these sensors is processed and then displayed via a web interface using the Laravel framework that can be accessed by users. The results of this study indicate that the system is able to provide effective and reliable early warning in potential fire situations

    Variasi Tegangan Pompa Terhadap Kinerja Mesin Sepeda Motor Honda Scoopy

    In this study, the effect of pump voltage on engine performance and fuel consumption on the Honda Scoopy motorbike was investigated. The voltage value is between 5 volts and 7 volts for the fuel pump pump pressure. Based on the results of the influence of variations in the voltage electrical fuel pump on engine performance on Honda Scoopy motorcycles by looking for some data, namely; Voltage supplied to the fuel pump, engine RPM, and fuel consumption. From some of the data above, results with the following values are obtained; The voltage values used are 5.80 V, 6.54 V, 7.34 V, 6.68 V, and 7.10 V. The RPM values obtained are 1200, 2607, 3289, 2802 and 3210. The pressure values at the fuel pump obtained are 20 Psi, 21.5 Psi, 27.5 Psi, 22.5 Psi and 25 Psi with an average fuel consumption value of 12 ml/minute for all variables. The results of the study show that the pressure on the fuel is affected by the voltage which affects the engine rpm. Furthermore, the voltage does not affect the value of fuel consumption on the machine

    Prediksi Laju Infiltrasi Metode Flooding Ditinjau Dari Karakteristi Tanah pada Kawasan Banjir di Kota Balikpapan Tengah

    Floods are the thiird highest natural disaster occurrence in Balikpapan City after landslides (38.36%) and fallen trees (35.85%). Flood locations experienced an increase in incidence, one of which was in Sumber Rejo Village, Central Balikpapan, Balikpapan City. In 2020 increased to 7 events (an increase of 25.71%). Central Balikpapan District is a flooded area that has a lot of land covered with morphological conditions located on a steep slope, having an area of 2,205 Km2. The high intensity of rainfall has caused some parts of this area to be affected by floods it can disrupt the activities of local residents. This study was conducted in a high-flood area, namely in the sub-district of Central Balikpapan, using the Horton, Holtan and Philip Method of analyse and the flooding method. Based on the result of the analysis and testing on the studies that have been carried out, the land cover for the measurement location of Land (TK), Angsana Tree (PA), Shurbs (SN), Jackfruit Tree (PN). Soil classification is sandy loam and clayey sand, and porosity category are low and medium. Analysis of the actual infiltration rate for location PN 8.52% cm/hour (slightly fast), SB 4.32 cm/hour and PA 2.55cm/hour (moderate) and TK 1.98 cm/hour (slightly slow). Horton’s model is suitable for use in this location because it can be applied to variants in land cover. The results of the analysis of the method starting at the 10th minute to the 180th minute still occurred inundation even though the inundation condition decreased. This shows that the four-measurement location in the flood of Balikpapan City have very small infiltration rates

So that employee attendance can be easily monitored by superiors directly both when they come, when they go home and work location. This research activity is SMK Negeri 1 Balikpapan as a partner to implement a web server and website attendance information system for teachers, education staff and other employees. The problem faced by partners is that for employees working at SMK Negeri 1 Balikpapan attendance attendance only uses a fingerprint and retrieves data using a flash drive manually not integrated directly into the server automatically so that leaders cannot monitor and also when working outside the office cannot make attendance at at that moment. This research aims to help an easy system for teachers and education staff who are working outside the city with camera features and location points so they can take attendance. The results of this study are that it runs well without problems and can make it easier to recap the results of employee absences and reduce fraud that will be carried out in the absence of teachers and education staff at SMK Negeri 1 Balikpapan

    Sejak terbukanya ruas jalan tembus jalan Sinarmas Land lambat laun mulai menimbulkan titik kemacetan baru, seperti pada ruas jalan menuju gerbang Grand City dari arah MT Haryono. Dari hasil identifikasi awal ditemukan antrian kendaraan terjadi dari arah RS Kanujoso menuju simpang wika dan dari arah Perumahan Wika menuju simpang Grand city, antrian umumnya terjadi dalam rentang waktu yang cukup panjang khususnya dari arah Wika. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap kondisi simpang sehingga dapat diketahui panjang antrian kendaraan yang dapat terjadi di masa yang akan datang terutama jika masa pandemi covid sudah berakhir, agar dapat direncanakan rekayasa lalu lintas untuk mengantisipasi antrian panjang di masa yang akan datang. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam mengevaluasi kinerja simpang tidak bersinyal Grand city adalah metode Sistem Dinamik (dynamic system) dengan menggunakan alat bantu aplikasi VISSIM. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan data pengukuran langsung di lapangan yakni dengan melakukan survey volume lalu lintas, survey antrian kendaraan, serta data geometric simpang dan tata guna lahan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh nilai tundaan 21,01 detik pada hari jumat sedangkan pada hari senin adalah 22,38 detik, menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kinerja simpang pada hari Jum’at lebih baik daripada kondisi kinerja simpang pada hari Senin dengan selisih tundaan 1,37 detik. Selain itu, panjang antrian yang terjadi pada hari Jumat lebih pendek daripada panjang antrian yang terjadi pada hari Senin yaitu 30,98 meter dan 55,04 meter dimana panjang antrian pada hari Jumat lebih pendek 24,06 meter. Sesuai dengan Pedoman Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Manajemen dan Rekayasa Lalu Lintas bahwa Simpang Grand City memiliki tingkat pelayanan C. Hal yang sama juga disampaikan Dalam American Highway Capacity Manual (AHCM) 2010 dimana tundaan sebesar 22,38 detik masih masuk dalam tingkat pelayanan C untuk simpang tidak bersinyal

    The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that smartphone usage data can be used to make predictions and find the best classification method for Credit Scoring even if the sample dataset is small. The study used a classification algorithm to divide customers into paying and arrears customers using mobile data, and then compared the predicted results with the actual results. There are several related works that are publicly accessible where mobile data has been used for Credit Scoring, but all of them use much larger data samples. Small companies cannot use large data sets as used in previous studies. In this paper the author tries to argue that there is data smartphone has good predictive power even though the dataset is small. The author concludes that with a sample data consisting of smartphone data as many as 5,702 debtors can still predict credit risk well.     Analisis Karakteristik Pompa Air Type Sentrifugal Kapasitas 34 Liter/Menit Dengan Daya Pompa 125 Watt

    Pompa merupakan salah satu mesin fluida yang termasuk dalam kelas mesin kerja. fungsi pompa adalah untuk memindahkan fluida dari satu tempat ke tempat lain dengan meningkatkan tekanan fluida. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik pompa air tipe sentrifugal berkapasitas 34 liter/menit dengan daya pompa 125 Watt. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, data penelitian dianalisis dengan mendeskripsikan dan meringkas hasil penelitian dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa putaran pompa cenderung menurun mengikuti kenaikan head statis, putaran Ponpa tertinggi terjadi pada head statis sebesar 2,7 m, nilai putaran sebesar 2897,5 rpm. Laju alir pompa cenderung menurun mengikuti kenaikan head statik, laju alir tertinggi terjadi pada head statik 2,7 m, nilai debit 0,000407 m3/s. Daya air meningkat mengikuti kenaikan head statis, daya air tertinggi terjadi pada head statis 9 m, nilai daya air 27,17 Watt. Daya poros tertinggi terjadi pada head statis 9 m, nilai daya poros sebesar 203,73 Watt. Efisiensi pompa meningkat mengikuti kenaikan head sistem menjadi head statis sembilan meter, efisiensi pompa tertinggi terjadi pada head statis 9 m, nilai efisiensi 0,133%.Kata kunci: Karakteristik, Pompa, sentrifugal, dan efisien

    Analisis Kebutuhan Lubang Resapan Biopori Pada Daerah Rawan Banjir Di Kelurahan Batu Ampar

    Salah satu wilayah rawan banjir yang ada di Kota Balikpapan adalah daerah Kelurahan Batu Ampar. Masalah yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh banjir sangat merugikan masyarakat, oleh karena itu perlu solusi agar banjir yang terjadi khususnya di daerah Kelurahan Batu Ampar dapat teratasi. Salah satu metode untuk mengurangi potensi banjir adalah dengan pembuatan lubang resapan biopori (LRB). LRB dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan infiltrasi air pada tanah dengan cara pembuatan lubang resapan. Metode yang dilakukan untuk menentukan jumlah kebutuhan LRB pada Kelurahan Batu Ampar yaitu observasional kuantitatif. Terdapat tiga lokasi yang menjadi daerah rawan banjir pada Kelurahan Batu Ampar. Pada ketiga lokasi dilakukan perhitungan laju infiltrasi pada lubang resapan biopori menggunakan alat double ring infiltometer dan didapatkan laju infiltasi lokasi 1 adalah 0,108 m3/jam, laju infiltasi pada lokasi 2 adalah 0,087 m3/jam, dan laju infiltrasi pada lokasi 3 adalah 0,105 m3/jam. Pada ketiga lokasi pengamatan ditentungan juga debit air limpasan menggunakan periode ulang hujan 2 tahunan didapatkan debit limpasan pada lokasi 1 adalah 263 m3/hari, debit limpasan lokasi 2 adalah 933 m3/hari, dan debit limpasan lokasi 3 adalah 46 m3/hari. Berdasarkan luas wilayah, laju infiltasi, dan debit limpasan didapatkan keperluan jumlah lubang resapan biopori pada Kelurahan Batu Ampar pada lokasi 1 adalah 2.442 buah, lokasi 2 adalah 10.635 buah, dan lokasi 3 adalah 47 buah

This research is a type of experimental research, including the addition of a guide vane or wind direction consisting of 3 variations of the pitch angle on the guide vane, including 30 °, 60 ° and 80 ° with variations in wind speed using a variation of the distance of 150 cm, 180 cm and 200 cm from the source. wind in the form of a blower to the Savonius Type U wind turbine by testing using a generator and without a generator and comparisons with the data without using a guide vane on the Savonius Type U wind turbine. The observed and measured factors are wind speed, power, rpm (rotation per minute), torque and Cp (coefficient of power). The results of the experimental research carried out obtained maximum data results on the Savonius Type U wind turbine on the variation of the addition of a 40 ° pitch angle guide vane with a distance of 150 cm, an average wind speed of 7.6 m / s to 7.9 m / s with a turbine rotation. equal to 218.1 rpm the power generated is 61.70 Watt with a Cp of 0.88%, torque of 3.46 Nm using a load of 12 Watt LED lights.
