BUILDING EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING THROUGH GRATITUDE: A STUDY AT SD NEGERI 1 BRANGSONG
Educational assessment often emphasizes cognitive aspects, while affective aspects, such as gratitude, receive less attention. However, strong cognitive abilities do not always reflect students’ ability to apply knowledge in everyday life. The affective domain, including the cultivation of an attitude of gratitude, is important because learning that begins with positive feelings tends to be more effective. The curriculum in Indonesia should integrate both direct and indirect learning to balance students’ spiritual, social, intellectual, and psychomotor aspects, including the development of an attitude of gratitude. At SD Negeri 1 Brangsong, gratitude has been assessed through direct observation and comprehensive assignment records. The research method used is qualitative and presented descriptively. Observations involved 211 children and all teachers as respondents during the 2021-2022 period. This study found that teachers at SD Negeri 1 Brangsong paid significant attention to students’ affective aspects, especially gratitude. This focus contrasts with the traditional paradigm, which often prioritizes cognitive development while neglecting affective dimensions. The results showed that the methods used to record and assess students’ gratitude attitudes were well-implemented, yielding measurable and comprehensive results despite several revisions. Overall, students demonstrated a better understanding of gratitude indicators after the teacher conducted multiple evaluations. Ultimately, students were able to consistently apply these attitudes in their daily lives, thereby enhancing their resilience and well-being in facing complex life challenges
MENINJAU ULANG TRADISI MENGHAFAL DALAM KURIKULUM LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM INDONESIA
Perdebatan seputar penting tidaknya menghafal telah menjadi perbincangan yang serius akhir-akhir ini. Beragam tanggapan telah dikeluarkan oleh para pakar pendidikan, baik yang mendukung maupun yang menolak, tetapi suara dari praktisi pendidikan Islam belum terdengar. Artikel ini ingin mengisi kekosongan ini dengan melakukan penelusuran sejarah atas praktik penghafalan di institusi pendidikan Islam dari era Ottoman hingga contemporary Indonesia. Kajian kepustakaan ini juga mengangkat isu yang tak kalah penting, yaitu devaluasi nilai menghafal al-Qur’an pada maraknya rumah-rumah tahfidz di Indonesia belakangan ini. Artikel ini menyimpulkan tiga hal penting: Pertama, hafalan telah menjadi dan akan selalu menjadi metode pembelajaran yang menyatu dalam kurikulum pendidikan Islam. Kedua, hafalan tidak menegasikan dengan sendirinya proses pemahaman. Pertentangan dua hal ini hanyalah bagian dari kerancuan cara berpikir kita yang bingung membedakan antara ontologi system pendidikan Islam dan pendidikan Eropa. Ketiga, embodiment al-Qur’an dengan diri seorang Muslim adalah sebuah tujuan mulia yang selama sekian abad menjadi trademark dari institusi pendidikan Islam, dan terancam hilang. Dalam konteks pendidikan di Indonesia, tiga temuan ini relevan untuk mengusung setidaknya dua strategi pendidikan: jenjang Pendidikan Islam yang berkelanjutan dan urgensi mempertahankan sistem pendidikan yang indigenous dari rahim institusi pendidikan Islam
RAUSYANFIKR: GERAKAN INTELEKTUAL SYIAH DI YOGYAKARTA
Rausyanfikr merupakan lembaga kajian yang bergerak pada ranah filsafat, terutama filsafat Islam. Berdirinya Rausyanfikr yang diinisiasi oleh Romy Fibri dan kawan-kawan pada tahun 1995, bertujuan untuk memberikan pencerahan kepada para mahasiswa dari berbagai kampus. Penamaan Rausyanfikr sendiri diambil dari konsepnya Ali Syariati di mana bertujuan akan hal yang sama, yaitu seorang intelektual yang mendapatkan pencerahan. Mengambil fokus utama pada kajian filsafat dikarenakan menanggapi respon dari mahasiswa yang mengalami gejolak pemikiran, antara pemikiran Islam dan pemikiran Barat. Selain itu, Rausyanfikr juga memiliki perpustakaan dan cabang kajian, seperti Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa (PPM) Muthahhari dan JAKFI (Jaringan Aktivis Filsafat Islam). Bahkan kajian ini tidak terbatas pada golongan tertentu, karena setiap tahunnya para mahasiswa dan akademisi semakin tertarik dan berminat dalam kajian filsafat Islam. Adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi lapangan dan metode kualitatif. Landasan teori yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah gerakan sosial, sosial intelektual, dan peranan. Bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana pengaruh pemikiran Islam, khususnya dari para pemikir Iran kepada para akademisi maupun mahasiswa di Indonesia, terutama di Yogyakarta yang bertepatan di jalan Kaliurang. The establishment of Rausyanfikr, which was initiated by Romy Fibri and friends in 1995, aims to provide enlightenment to students from various campuses. The name Rausyanfikr itself is taken from Ali Syariati's concept which aims at the same thing, namely an intellectual who attains enlightenment. Taking the main focus on philosophical studies is due to responding to responses from students who experience fluctuations in thought, between Islamic thought and Western thought. Apart from that, Rausyanfikr also has a library and study branches, such as the Muthahhari Student Islamic Boarding School (PPM) and JAKFI (Islamic Philosophy Activist Network). In fact, this study is not limited to certain groups, because every year students and academics are increasingly interested and interested in the study of Islamic philosophy. The types of research used are field studies and qualitative methods. The theoretical basis used in this research is social movements, social intellectuals, and roles. The aim is to see the extent of the influence of Islamic thought, especially from Iranian thinkers, on academics and students in Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta which coincides with street Kaliurang. THE RELATION OF MALAYSIAN MALAY ISLAMIC CULTURE TO NATIONAL IDENTITY AND IDEOLOGY "PILLAR OF THE NATION"
Islam and Malays in Malaysia are inseparable, having undergone a lengthy process of integration and leaving enduring legacies for Malaysia, the archipelago, and beyond. They collectively define the nation's identity, endorsed by the government. As a multicultural country, Malaysia affirms its adherence to Islam and the Malay heritage, with Malays playing a crucial role in maintaining political stability and preventing racial conflicts. Central to this harmony is the steadfast preservation of Malay culture by its people. Malay Islamic culture is preserved not only in the social life of society but also at the stage of constitutionally applicable legislation. The existing culture assimilates previous religions that have stopped and developed in Malay. Amid the onslaught of globalization which is being followed by all countries including Malaysia, Malay Muslim culture remains the characteristic of the Malaysian Malay nation. Malaysia as a democratic country has an ideology to be the basis for determining the direction of development steps. This paper is focused on finding compatibility between Malay Islamic culture preserved from generation to generation with the values of national identity contained in Malaysian legislation and the basic ideology of the state known as "Rukun Negara". It is a concept that binds the state with religious and ethnic entities to enhance the moral integrity of the nation.

FOSTERING RELIGIOUS MODERATION: INTEGRATING VALUES INTO THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING CLASSROOM
Indonesia's diverse religious landscape, notably Islam, often grapples with extremism, contributing to socioeconomic disparities and a tarnished perception of faith. Such extremism poses a threat to national unity and the well-being of youths. In countering this trend, fostering religious moderation emerges as a pivotal strategy, discouraging the glorification of extreme doctrines. Education emerges as a crucial tool in instilling religious moderation values. This study investigates how religious moderation values integrate into English teaching settings. This study employed qualitative research. It involved three levels of Islamic institutions: Islamic elementary school (madrasa ibtidaiya), Islamic junior high school (madrasa tsanawiya), and Islamic senior high school (madrasa aliya) in Ponorogo. The researchers collected the data through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data, then, was evaluated thematically. This study revealed that religious moderation values were instilled into the lesson plans, learning materials, teaching-learning activities, and assessments in the English language teaching classroom
PENGUATAN MODERASI BERAGAMA MELALUI INTERFAITH DIALOGUE BERBASIS CANGKRUKAN DAN FILANTROPI PRODUKTIF DI DUSUN SODONG KABUPATEN PONOROGO
Indonesia as a multi-racial, ethnic and religious country is ambivalent. On the one hand, it has a positive value because it shows Indonesia as a multicultural country, but on the other hand, this diversity also often triggers conflict. One of the government's efforts to minimize conflict due to religious diversity is by massively campaigning for the concept of religious moderation on various fronts. Both in educational institutions, government and political policies. The implementation of religious moderation at the village government level has been practiced by residents in Sodong Hamlet, Ponorogo Regency, East Java. Living with two religions in one village is acknowledged to often give rise to various clashes of interests. Therefore, this research aims to explore the strategies implemented by the people of Sodong Hamlet, Ponorogo Regency to internalize the value of religious moderation as an effort to foster peace between Buddhists and Muslims in the Hamlet. Through qualitative researce and data mining in the form of interviews, this research produces two conclusions; First, strengthening the value of religious moderation in Sodong Hamlet, Ponorogo Regency is carried out through Cangkrukan-Based Interfaith Dialogue. This program has proven successful in reducing the conflicting interests of the two religions. Second, strengthening religious moderation is carried out through productive philanthropic activities. Indirectly, this philanthropy program has opened a space for dialogue between Muslims and Buddhists. GAYA SELEBGRAM BERHIJAB: PENERIMAAN ATRIBUT KEBERAGAMAN PADA INTERAKSI MEDIA SOSIAL
Komunikasi era digital lebih mampu mempengaruhi secara psikologis dengan adanya kecanggihan teknologi dan memudahkan menggiring opini secara mengglobal. Kekuatan warganet dalam memberikan reaksi berbentuk kalimat, emoticon dan fitur-fitur komunikasi digital semakin memperkuat kreatifitas berkomunikasi pada media digital. Setiap orang bisa menjadi pesohor dadakan dengan tayangan yang menjadi viral di masyarakat melalui media sosial. Munculnya selebgram berhijab yang berasal dari media sosial Instagram dengan unggaha konten yang menarik, mampu mengumpulkan pengikut yang berasal dari berbagai agama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka untuk menganalisa secara deskriptif dan lebih fokus penelitian para selebgram berhijab di sosial media Instagram. Melalui penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa kemajuan komunikasi digital dengan minimnya literasi akan rentan timbulnya noise dan hoax. Munculnya para pesohor dadakan melalui media sosial Instagram,yang dikenal sebagai selebgram dengan gaya berhijab dan segala aktivitas yang diunggah di akun Instagram nya mampu mempengaruhi para pengikutnya dan berdampak pada peningkatan penghasilan dengan melalui endorse produk di akun media sosialnya. Social framing sengaja dibentuk untuk selalu dapat mempengaruhi para pengikutnya dan menambah pengikut barusehingga pamor seorang selebgram tidak pudar. STUDI HOLISTIK PERBEDAAN KONSEP MANUSIA DALAM PSIKOLOGI BARAT DAN PSIKOLOGI ISLAM
This article analyzes the differences and integration of human concepts in Western psychology and Islamic psychology. This study uses a library research method by collecting data, analyzing data, and concluding the analysis of the text. This approach was chosen because it allows researchers to explore and compare various theories, views, and existing research without being limited by time and geographical space. This study produces an analysis that Western Psychology, which developed from classical Greek philosophical thought to modern theories, emphasizes an empirical and scientific approach in understanding human behavior. In contrast, Islamic psychology offers a holistic perspective that combines spiritual, moral, and psychological aspects. This study aims to understand the fundamental differences in the two approaches and explore the possibility of integration to develop more inclusive and effective psychological interventions
KEPENTINGAN HOUTHI YAMAN: BLOKADE LAUT MERAH, SERANGAN DRONE DAN PENEMBAKAN RUDAL BALISTIK KE ISRAEL
Reaksi tegas Houthi memblokade laut Merah dengan menarget kapal-kapal kargo yang berkaitan dengan Israel serta melakukan serangan militer secara langsung menggunakan drone dan rudal balistik ke wilayah Israel, merupakan aksi nyata kelompok ini dalam membela rakyat Palestina. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepentingan nasional yang melatarbelakangi tindakan reaksioner kelompok Houthi Yaman melakukan blokade laut Merah yang merupakan jalur perdagangan internasional, serta serangan militer secara langsung ke wilayah Israel. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif-analitis. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori kepentingan nasional yang terdiri dari kepentingan pertahanan, kepentingan ekonomi, kepentingan tatanan dunia, dan kepentingan ideologi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan; pada kepentingan pertahanan Houthi berupaya menunjukkan kekuatan militernya pada Amerika dan sekutunya serta untuk memperkuat aliansinya dengan Iran sebagai mitra pengembangan teknologi drone dan rudal balistik mereka, pada kepentingan ekonomi Houthi memiliki kepentingan untuk memutus jalur perdagangan internasional bagi kapal-kapal kargo milik Israel, Amerika dan sekutunya guna melemahkan ekonomi Israel serta memutus suplai logistik dan peralatan perang yang berusaha dikirimkan Amerika ke Israel melalui jalur laut, pada kepentingan tatanan dunia Houthi memiliki komitmen yang sama dengan kelompok Hisbullah di Lebanon, dan Iran untuk terus memberikan dukungan kepada pejuang Hamas baik secara non-militer maupun serangan militer secara langsung, sampai Israel menghentikan serangan ke Gaza Palestina, dan pada kepentingan ideologi Houthi membutuhkan bantuan dari negara Iran yang merupakan negara mayoritas Syiah untuk menancapkan pengaruh ideologi Syiah mereka di negara Yaman sekaligus mendorong dunia internasional mengakui mereka sebagai pemerintahan Yaman yang sah.

PEMENUHAN KEWAJIBAN ORANGTUA PENYANDANG TUNAGRAHITA TERHADAP PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ANAK
The obligation of parents in caring for and educating children is explained in Law number 1 of 1974 concerning marriage, namely in Article 45 paragraphs (1) and (2), also explained in the Al-Qur'an Al-Luqman verses 12-19 concerning the obligations of parents in providing monotheism, faith and morals education to children. Furthermore, what if the obligations as parents are carried out by mentally retarded couples, of course it is different from normal people who are considered to understand state law and are burdened with religious law. Meanwhile, from the data the researchers obtained from 2018 to 2022, there were 7 (seven) cases of marriages of mentally retarded couples in Karangpatihan Village, Balong District, Ponorogo Regency, of course the mentally retarded couple can be said not to carry out their obligations as parents in caring for and educating children like normal people in general. This research is a type of qualitative research with an approach to laws and the Koran. The data collection method was carried out by observation and interviews. The data description method is described descriptively. The purpose of this study is to examine how mentally retarded couples in Karangpatihan Village fulfill their obligations as parents from the perspective of the Marriage Law and Al-Qur'an Al-Luqman verses 12-19 based on the analysis of Ibnu Katsir's interpretation.
