Full text linkThe purpose of this research is to analyze the income and technical efficiency of corn farming. The study was conducted in Bandar Sribhawono Subdistrict East Lampung Regency from January to March 2020. The study involved farmers and traders as participants. In this study, 45 respondents from farmer groups were chosen using a straightforward random procedure. The data utilized were primary and secondary data. The data analysis method employed income analysis and linear programming. The findings indicate that corn farming in Bandar Sribhawono Subdistrict is feasible and economical, with R/C values greater than one. Full text linkThis study aimed to examine business partnerships and analyze the profitability of rice seed breeding at CV Maju Sejahtera Inti (CV MSI). The research employed a case study approach, conducted at CV MSI in Central Lampung Regency. This company is notable for its extensive farmer network, spanning several districts in Lampung Province, and its involvement in the rice seed breeding business. Respondents included the owners and employees of CV MSI. Data collection was conducted from November to December 2023. Business partnerships were analyzed using an interactive descriptive qualitative model. Profitability was assessed using the R/C ratio for the Goal, Mentes, and Marqy seed brands over two planting seasons in 2022–2023. The results showed that the business partnership between farmers and the company followed a sub-contract model. The R/C ratios based on cash costs for the three seed brands were 1.21 for Mentes, 1.13 for Goal, and 1.13 for Marqy, respectively. Key words: Partnership, Profits, R/C ratio, Rice See

Full text linkThe stability of rice price in Indonesia is an important issue as is the price flow or price transmission between farmers and rice consumers in Indonesia, both prior and during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to determine trends in rice price at farmer and consumer levels, and to examine the transmission of rice price between the rice market at farmer and consumer levels, both in the same situations: prior and during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The method used to analyze the price trends was the Least Square method, while the process used to identify price transmission between markets at the farmer level and markets at the consumer level for the period before and during the COVID-19 Pandemic was the Engle-Granger Cointegration Test and ECM estimation. The research results show that the trend in rice prices at both farmer and consumer levesl has a positive orincreasing trend before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The price transmission that occurred between the rice market at the farmer level and the rice market at the consumer level or vice versa before the COVID-19 pandemic is significant, or in other words do not experience a spurious phenomenon (meaningless regression), and price changes are asymmetrical. ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL PEREMAJAAN USAHATANI KELAPA SAWIT DI KABUPATEN LAMPUNG SELATAN
Full text linkOil palm farming in South Lampung Regency was started in 1997, and as it due to economic age, replanting phase is urgently required. This research aims to analyze the financial feasibility of replanting oil palm farming and its sensitivity to various changes. The research was carried out in Katibung District and Candipuro District, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province from December 2023 – January 2024, with a sample size of 63 oil palm farmers. The data utilized included both primary data and secondary data. The data were analyzed quantitatively using NPV, IRR, Net B/C, Gross B/C, and Payback Period. Based on the research results, the replanting of oil palm farming is financially feasible to carry out. The sensitivity results show that palm oil production costs increased 5.95 percent, palm oil production drop 37.39 percent, and FFB selling prices fell 47.84 percent, replanting palm oil farming is still financially feasible to carry out. Full text linkThis study aims to analyze the cost of production, income and marketing mix of tempe agroindustry. This study uses the census method for household clusters according to BPS which are classified into 3 levels, namely small, medium and large. Determination of the research location was chosen purposefully. The population in this study were 19 tempe agroindustries. Respondents in this study were the owners of the tempe agroindustry in Yosodadi, East Metro, Metro City. Field data collecting was carried out in August 2019. The data collected in this study were primary and secondary data. The data was analyzed with quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The results showed that the cost of production of tempe agroindustry in Yosodadi, East Metro, Metro City in the small cluster was IDR3,399.40/kilogram, while in the medium cluster was IDR3,521.97/kilogram and in the large cluster was IDR3,351.05/kilogram, tempe agroindustry in Yosodadi Village, East Metro, Metro City is a profitable industry and the marketing mix applied by tempe agroindustry in Yosodadi Village, East Metro, Metro City is not using the cluster method because the types and prices of products in all agroindustries are almost the same.Keywords: agroindustry, cost, income, marketing mix, temp

Full text linkThis research aims to analyze the process of procuring raw materials and the performance of rice mills at different business scales in East Buay Madang District. This research used a case study method on rice mills with different business scales in East Buay Madang District, East OKU Regency, South Sumatra. The rice mill owner was the respondent in this research. Data collection was carried out from March to April 2021. The data analysis method used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the procurement of raw materials for rice mills at different business scales was not appropriate because there were several components that are not optimal. The performance of rice mills in East Buay Madang District is not yet optimum, because one the four production performance indicators, which is indicator of capacity at small scale rice mills, still needs to be enhanced to be more optimum. .Key words: business scale, performance, procurement, rice mil
ANALISIS TINGKAT KEPUASAN KONSUMEN PADA RUMAH MAKAN PADANG DI DESA BALUNIJUK KABUPATEN BANGKA
No full textThis research aims to describe the consumer characteristics and analyze the level of customer satisfaction. This research was conducted in August 2023 in Balunijuk Village, Merawang District, Bangka Regency. The method used in this research is purposive sampling. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, questionnaire, and interview. The data analysis method uses quantitative descriptive statistics and Customer Index Satisfaction (CSI) analysis with a Likert scale. The results of the study show that the consumer characteristics at Putra Minang restaurant and Minang Maimbau restaurant are predominantly students aged 18-21 years, female, have pocket money per month of less than Rp.1.000.000, come from Bangka Belitung University, live in boarding houses and reside in Balunijuk Village. The CSI calculation results at Putra Minang restaurant are 80.53% and at Minang Maimbau restaurant are 79.81% at the satisfied level

Full text linkThe purpose of the research is to investigate the performance of coffee agribusiness system at the cooperative namely Produsen Srikandi Maju Bersama. The method used in this study was a case study method, involving 71 coffee farmers members of the cooperative Produsen Srikandi Maju Bersama, five cooperative managements as processor, and three retailers. The samples were selected by snowball sampling method. The data analysis was carried out using the agribusiness index system. The data were collected from May to - July 2022. The results show that subsystem index for the procurement of production, farming, processing, facilities, and supporting services are in good categories. In the meantime, the marketing subsystem’s index for the coffee is categorized as not good. Overall, coffee agribusiness system at the cooperative Produsen Srikandi Maju Bersama is categorized as good with total score of 11,95 (79,68 percent) from a maximum score of 15,00. keywords: agribusiness system performance, coffee, cooperativ
