PERANAN ANGGOTA KELOMPOK WANITA TANI (KWT) DALAM MEWUJUDKAN DESA AGROWISATA SUNGAI LANGKA KECAMATAN GEDONG TATAAN KABUPATEN PESAWARAN
Get PDFThis research aims to determine the role of Woman Farmer Group (KWT) members and factors related to the role of KWT in actualizing Sungai Langka as an Agrotourism Village. The research location was chosen purposively in Sungai Langka Village of Gedong Tataan Sub-district of Pesawaran Regency. Respondents were 61 respondents using Proportional Random Sampling. This research was conducted from January to February 2018. Data analysis method used descriptive method with quantitative approach. To answer the first purpose used descriptive analysis, and the second goal by using a quantitative approach of Rank Spearman analysis method. The results indicated that the role level of KWT members in mini jackfruit planting and handicraft production is included in a low classification, the roles of KWT members in the manufacture of vegetable quoting galleries, fruit pickling and in Small and Medium Enterprises processing of agricultural products are included in medium classification, KWT in actualizing as Sungai Langka Agrotourism Village is generally included in the middle classification. Factors associated with the role of KWT members in actualizing the Agrotourism Village Sungai Langka are the motivation, cosmopolite character, and the level of knowledge. Whereas, the age and level of education were not significantly related to the role of KWT members in actualizing Sungai Langka Village as the Agrotourism Village. ANALISIS EFISIENSI PEMASARAN AGROINDUSTRI KLANTING DI KECAMATAN NEGERI KATON KABUPATEN PESAWARAN
Get PDFThis research aims to know how much income of producer of klanting agroindustry, marketing channels, and the efficiency of klanting agroindustry marketing at Karang Rejo Village, Negeri Katon Subdistrict, Pesawaran Regency, and Lampung Province. The research is conducted by a survey method. The total of respondents is 32 producers and 146 merchants. The research data was collected in December 2016 until March 2017 and analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The result showed that the amount of klanting agroindustry producers’ income was Rp2,018,932.67/month with R/C 1.38 on cash and Rp1,649,645.49 /month with R/C 1.29 on total cost. It meant that the klanting agroindustry was feasible to be run. In addition, there were four kinds of marketing channels on klanting agroindustry at Karang Rejo Village. Get PDFThis study analyses the roles of AEWs, the level of implementation of the five-farming-system of paddy, the level of paddy productivity, the relationship between the roles of AEWs and the level of the implementation five, and the relationship between the implementation and paddy productivity. The research was conducted in the West Metro District of Metro City. The samples are 72 farmers of randomly selected respondents. Methods of data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis, table analysis, and Rank Spearman correlation. The results indicated that AEWs have done their roles well, especially as educators who teach and educate farmers about the implementation of the five-farming-system of paddy. The five-farming-system of paddy has been applied well. Most farmers realize the importance of implementing the five-farming-system of paddy in accordance with the advice of AEWs to improve productivity. The average productivity of paddy is 6.46 ton/ha or in the medium class. The higher the role of AEWs, the higher the level of application of the five-farming-system of paddy. PENDAPATAN USAHATANI POLIKULTUR UDANG WINDU–IKAN BANDENG DAN EFISIENSI PEMASARAN IKAN BANDENG DI KECAMATAN PASIR SAKTI KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMUR
Get PDFThis study aimed to analyze income of tiger shrimp–milkfish and marketing efficiency of milkfish in Pasir Sakti subdistrict of east Lampung Regency. The research location was choosen purposely in Pasir Sakti Subdistrict Lampung Regency. Data of this research was collected during November-January 2016. Respondents of this research were 64 cultivators and 40 traders. This research used survey method, in which samples were chosen by simple random sampling and snowball sampling. The collected data, included primary and secondary data, was analyzed by descriptive qualitative analysis, income analysis, and marketing margins. The results showed that tiger shrimp and milkfish aquaqulture were profitable. There were 2 channels of marketing of milkfish but both of them were inefficient. Marketing margin and profit margin ratio on marketing of milkfish were not prevalent.Key words: Income, marketing efficiency, milkfis
ANALISIS KEBERLANJUTAN USAHATANI KOPI SERTIFIKASI COMMON CODE FOR THE COFFEE COMMUNITY (4C) DI KABUPATEN TANGGAMUS PROVINSI LAMPUNG
Get PDFThis research aims to analyze farming income and sustainability of farming practices of coffee certification farmers and coffee non-certification farmers in Tanggamus Regency. This research used survey method. The numbers of samples in this research were 44 respondents of certification farmers and 24 respondents of non-certification farmers. The data was collected from August 2017 to November 2017. The data was analyzed by quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that farming income of certification farmers were higher than non-certification farmers. Socially and environmental sustainable farming practices of certification farmers were more sustainable than non-certification farmers. Sustainability of economy, social and environmental aspects of certification farmers were more sustainable than non-certification farmers. Total of farming income of certification farmers and non-certification farmers were Rp16,330,309 per hectare and Rp10,637,482 per hectare. About 93.20% of certification farmers’s farming were sustainable, while about 91.70% of non-certification farmers’s farming were quite sustainable. OPTIMALISASI PENGUSAHAAN LAHAN PETANI KELAPA SAWIT SWADAYA DI KABUPATEN TULANG BAWANG PROVINSI LAMPUNG
Get PDFThis research aimed (1) to analyze optimal income obtained by farmers with optimal use of labor and land both in mineral and in peat land, and (2) to identify palm oil marketing channel in Tulang Bawang District. The research was conducted by survey method in Penawar Tama and Gedung Aji Baru Subdistricts of Tulang Bawang District Lampung Province in July 2017. The sampling was done by census to 17 self-help palm oil farmers. Data were analyzed by using linear programming model, land productivity, farm income, and descriptive analysis of marketing channel. The results showed the optimal income that could be achieved in Scenario 1 was Rp32,805,860.00 with optimal labor usage of 120.28 HOK, whereas in Scenario 2 the optimal income that could be achieved was Rp46,976,300.00 with optimal labor usage for 125.2 HOK. There were 2 marketing channels of palm oil established in Kabupaten Tulang Bawang. Channel 1 with 76.47 percent of farmers started from the farmers, distributed to the wholesalers and then to palm oil mill. Channel 2 with 23.3 percent of farmers started from the farmers, distributed to the middlemen, to wholesalers and to palm oil mill. Key words: land optimalization, palm oil, marketing channe
ANALISIS EFISIENSI PEMASARAN GABAH DAN NILAI TAMBAH BERAS DI KABUPATEN PESAWARAN
Get PDFThis research aims to analyze the efficiency of paddy marketing system and value added of rice in Pesawaran District. This research was conducted by survey method. The research location is chosen purposively i Kota Jawa Village and Gunung Sari Village, Way Khilau Subdistrict Pesawaran District with consideration that the location is one of the central of paddy production. The samples of this research were 51 paddy farmers who were selected by simple random sampling. The research data was collected in June–July 2017 and analyzed by descriptive and quantitative analysis. The method used in this research is the analysis of the model of S-C-P (structure, conduct, and performance) and used Hayami method to determine the value- added of the rice. The S-C-P model was used to analysis marketing system efficiency. The results showed that paddy marketing system in Pesawaran District was efficient, it could be seen from the producer’s share who greater than 50%. ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN NILAI TAMBAH AGROINDUSTRI KERIPIK PISANG DI DESA SUNGAI LANGKA KECAMATAN GEDONG TATAAN KABUPATEN PESAWARAN
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to study the income and added value of banana chips agroindustry. The research location was chosen purposively at Sungai Langka village Pesawaran District by consideration that Banana Chips Agroindustry at Sungai Langka village was active routinely produce and also has a potential to be developed. Respondents were the owners of banana chips agroindustries. The data were collected in Desember 2017 and analyzed by a quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of the research showed that the income based on total cost per month of banana chips agroindustry was Rp1,366,46.,67. Banana Chips Agroindustry was viable because it has positive added value amounted Rp3,758.26/kg raw material and favorable for its R/C value of more than one which are 1.37 at cash cost and 1.35 at total cost.Key words: added value, agroindustry, banana chips, incom

Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to assess implementation of Upsus Pajale Program, participation of farmer group members, and analyse factors related to the participation of farmers group members in the Upsus Pajale Program. This is a survey which is purposively undertaken in West Metro Sub district, involving 52 farmer households. The study was carried out from September to October 2017. Data are analyzed using qualitative-descriptive analysis and Rank Spearman correlation test. The results show that factors related to participation of farmer group members were farmers frequency in attending agricultural extension meeting and level of motivation. However, farmer’s age, formal education level, and land ownership have no relation with participation. Overall, participation of farmer group members in Upsus Pajale Program in West Metro Sub district is quite active.Key words: participation of famer group members, Upsus Pajal
