PENDAPATAN DAN TINGKAT KESEJAHTERAAN RUMAH TANGGA NELAYAN TRADISIONAL DI KECAMATAN TELUK PANDAN KABUPATEN PESAWARAN
Get PDFThis research is to analyze income obtained by traditional fishermen from fish catching, their householdincome, the level of welfare, and factors influencing the welfare level of traditional fishermen households inTeluk Pandan District. This study was conducted in Sukajaya Lempasing Village, Teluk Pandan District,Pesawaran Regency with a survey method. Respondents were 48 traditional fishermen who used netfish andwere selected using simple random sampling method. Household income consists of on farm, off-farm, andnon-farm. Household welfare level is analyzed by Central Agency on Statistics 2014 and the Sajogyo 1997criteria. The factors influencing welfare are determined using binary logistic regression. The resultsshowed that the income obtained by fishermen from fish catches in the western season was Rp6,570,375, inthe eastem season was Rp25,452,214, and in the normal season was Rp15,229,771. The contribution of fishcatches income (on farm) was 91.01 percent, the contribution of bussines income in the agricultural sectoroutside the fish catches (off farm) was 5.55 percent, and the contribution of business outside the agriculturalsector (non-farm) was 3.60 percent. As many as 68.77percent of the traditional fishermen households areclassified as unprosperous yet and 31.25 percent are prosperous based on Central agency on Statistics 2014criteria. Get PDFThe purposes of this study are to determine the communication behavior of pepper farmers, characteristics of pepper farmers and analyze the correlation between farmers’ characteristics and communication behavior in fulfilling pepper farming information. This research was conducted in Sukadana Baru Village, Marga Tiga District, East Lampung regency in August 2018. This location was chosen purposively with consideration that Sukadana Baru Village is a village with the largest area and pepper production in East Lampung. The number of samples in this study were 43 pepper farmers. This study used a survey method, and data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and rank Spearman test. The results showed that all respondent farmers were at the productive age level with an average age of 42 years, average level of basic education of 9 years, the average cultivated area of 2.00 hectares, pepper farming experience 22 years, and the average monthly income of Rp2,591,382.00. Communication behavior of farmers in fulfilling pepper farming information fell into the medium category. There was a significant correlation between farmer's age, land size, and income with communication behavior in fulfilling pepper farming information.Key words: communication behavior,farmer characteristics, peppe
PROSPEK PENGEMBANGAN PALA RAKYAT DI PROVINSI LAMPUNG
Get PDFThe aim of this research is to analyze financial feasibility and development prospect of nutmeg farming in Lampung Province. This research was conducted in Gisting Subdistrict, Tanggamus Regency and data were collected in September - October 2017 using a survey method. This reaserch used primary and secondary data. Primary data were used to analyze financial feasibility and obtained by interview technique using questionnaires. The samples size of this research were 30 nutmeg farmers taken using simple random sampling. Secondary data were data in the past seven - nine years to find out the prospect development of nutmeg farming. The data were analyzed using financial feasibility and time series linier with ARIMA model analyses. The results of the study showed that the nutmeg farming was feasible, and development prospect of nutmeg farming based on production and nutmeg seeds export had a good potential for the future.Key words: ARIMA, development, financial, nutmeg, prospec

Get PDFThe objectives of this study are to find out the profit, the farmers’ perception, the farmers’ interest of industrial cassava farmers, and to analyze factors affecting of the farmers’ interest for the industrial cassava. The locations of this study are chosen purposively in Sukadana and Rajabasa Batanghari Villages, Sukadana District, East Lampung Regency. The number of respondents were 64 farmers selected using simple random sampling method. The data were collected in September - October 2018. The profit is analyzed descriptively, the farmers’ perception is analyzed using the Likert Scale, and the factors affecting farmers’ interest are analyzed using binary logistic regression. The results of this study showed that the profit was IDR10,355,938.25 per hectare. The farmers’ perception of the industrial cassava farming was easy because of its the easiness of cultivation, the reliability of market, the availability of the agricultural extension, and the fulfillment for the farmers’ needs. The farmers’ interest in cassava farming was low. Get PDFThe study aims to analyze the level of income and standard production cost of etawa goat milk business in the Maju Jaya farmer Group in Batanghari Sub-District, East Lampung Regency. The research method used is a case study in the Maju Jaya farmer Group. Determination of the location of the study was carried out purposively. The total respondents in this study are ten members of Maju Jaya farmer group. Data are analyzed using financial analysis. The results showed that the standard production cost per liter of etawa goat milk is IDR. 14,860. The business of etawa goat milk in the Maju Jaya farmer group is a profitable business. The level of profit, per one goat, generated by farmers is IDR. 1,168,038.50 over cash costs and IDR. 638,281.40 over total costs.Key words: etawa goat, income, standard production cos

Get PDFThis study aims to study the halal certification process of banana processed products at the Institute forFood, Drugs, and Cosmetics Studies of The Indonesian Ulama Council (LPPOM MUI) Lampung Provinceto find out the increase in sales of banana chips after obtaining a halal certificate, and to explore consumer behavior of Lampung banana chips branded KPS, PD. AS, and KPKK. The research is conducted by surveymethod. Data collection was conducted in March 2019 in which 45 people were selected by using accidentalsampling. The data are analyzed by descriptive analysis and Attitude model of Multiatribute Fishbein. Thehalal certification process carried out by LPPOM MUI Lampung Province on banana chips agroindusty hasseveral online steps on web regs.e-lppommui.org. The increase in sales after obtaining a halal certificate is an increase in the number of production with the turnover reaching 40 percent. When purchasing bananachips, halal is highly considered by consumers. Consumers at KPS, PD. AS, and KPKK are satisfied andmay repurchase.Key words: banana chips, consumers, halal certificat
PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN KEDISIPLINAN TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA PT XXX
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the motivation, discipline, and the employees’ performance in PT XXX, the effect of work motivation on the employees’ discipline in PT XXX, and the motivation on the employees’ performance both directly and indirectly through discipline in PT XXX. The data collection was conducted in March 2017. The method used wasa case study because this study involved all members of the population from the study area. The available number of respondents in this study were 38 people. The first purpose was analyzed descriptively. The second and third purposes were analyzed using path analysis. The employees’ work motivation in PT XXX was included in the medium category (good enough). The discipline of the employees was inthe good category for each dimension of three, namely working time, carrying out the work, and obeyingrules. The employees’ performance in PT XXX was included in a good enough category. In this study motivation did not affect the employees’ discipline in PT XXX. Discipline had the biggest direct influence on the performance by 65.90 percent, compared with motivation by 36.50 percent, the indirect effect value of motivation on performance is 11.30 percent. KETAHANAN PANGAN RUMAH TANGGA PETANI SEKITAR TAHURA WAN ABDUL RACHMAN (WAR) DI DESA KEBAGUSAN KECAMATAN GEDONG TATAAN
Get PDFThe research goals were to determine the level of food security, farmers’ household dependences on Tahura WAR, know the relationship between income and household expenditure and the level of energy consumption. This research was conducted in Kebagusan Village, Gedong Tataan Subdistrict with respondents of 76 farmers around the Tahura WAR, which utilized the tahura and joined farmer groups. Data were analyzed quantitatively and statistically, i.e. the first goal with cross-classification between the share of food expenditure and household energy consumption level, the second by measuring the value of income contribution from Tahura WAR and other sources toward total income, and the third with the Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results showed that farmer households who achieved the level of food security as withstand was 17.11%, as vulnerable was 26.32%, as less was 34.21%, and food insecurity was 22.37%. Farmer households around Tahura WAR have a dependency on Tahura WAR which is indicated by the amount of income contribution from Tahura was 62.51%. Income has a negative relationship with food expenditure, but a positive relationship to nonfood expenditure. The income does not have a significant relationship with the level of energy consumption. PENDAPATAN DAN NILAI TAMBAH AGROINDUSTRI GULA KELAPA SKALA RUMAH TANGGA DI KECAMATAN SIDOMULYO KABUPATEN LAMPUNG SELATAN
Get PDFThe purposes of this research are to analyze the income and added value of household scale coconut sugar agroindustry in Sidomulyo Subdistrict of South Lampung Regency. This research is conducted by a survey method in determining the sample. Respondents are the owners of coconut sugar agroindustries. Data were collected in January - February 2019, and analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that income over cash costs amounted to Rp2,976,013.89 and income over total costs amounted to Rp529,747.40. Coconut sugar agroindustry was profitable with R/C of 3.66 over cash costs and 1.15 over total costs, it was worth cultivating because it had positive value-added, namely raw material of Rp949.84/ liter.
