    THE SCIENTIFIC VIEWPOINT IN STATE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY IN INDONESIA

    This paper aims to reveal that this family of general (secular) scientific and religious scientific can be integrated into such a view of the epistemology of science as applied institute non-dichotomous state Islamic University or UIN. Basically is Law No. 12 in 2012 and the decision of the Director General of Islamic Education No. 3389 Year 2013 The method used is content analysis approach to the study of philosophy and Islamic education policy. The analysis showed that the Islamic colleges that have shaped the university can be in organizing educational and scientific development of both general and religious clumps. This is called the integration and interconnection (non-dichotomous) scholarly knowledge of Islam among the general sciences. Scientific form of integration is reflected in the naming of the faculty (eg. Tarbiyah and Teaching Science, Adab and Humanities, Faculty of Da\u27wa and Communication) and the distribution of subjects. In essence, in each course served at UIN containing core Islamic sciences, both normative and descriptive

    SUPERVISION IMPLEMENTATION IN MANAGEMENT QUALITY: AN ATTEMPT TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LEARNING AT MADRASAH ALIYAH DARUL A’MAL METRO

    The primary purpose of this qualitative study is to identify and analyze supervision by implementing management quality to improve the quality of learning at Madrasah Aliyah Darul A’mal Metro, Lampung. The quality of management implementation is elaborated in the steps of assurance of learning quality. Two instruments, which consist of observation and questionnaire, were used in this study of which each instrument was analyzed based the deductive framework. The results of this study from each instrument revealed four steps of assurance of learning quality, among others (1) by socializing academic supervision program and its advantages to all stake holders, and (2) by implementing stages of assurance through academic supervision by the principals of Madrasah Aliyah Darul A’mal and supervisor, (3) performing supervision that is equipped with valid instrument to measure learning success, (4) performing the follow-up program by clinical and group discussion to provide appropriate model of performance

Many people were interested of the existing education to put the appropriate status of the student activity. In this case, the researcher wants to discover the role of student activity in Arabic Intensive Program student academic achievement at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang, using descriptive approach, and concluded that the Arabic Intensive Program has placed the student activity in special attention equal academic student activity, the student activity in the Arabic Intensive Program has an active role in raising academic achievement for university students

    This writing describes the prossibility to have Islamic education established as transdiscipliner: that is, omitting the dichotomy between religion knowledge and general knowledge, and developing the understanding that the relatedness between the two. The method used in this study is a discourse analysis. A number of references is discussed and analysed based on the direction and purpose of the transdiscipliner concept. In fact, in the context of Islamic education, transdiscipliner curriculum that must be developed should be holistic—covering a number of problems that are closed to human and being able to develop as human resource. Human as mysterious being cannot be approached from one single discipline. Human should be understood from transdiscipline. The expected ability in Islamic education in transdiscipliner concept is the ability to view the world as a value system with its different function and task but they are still related. This connection and interconnection system should be placed in the frame of faith and good deeds

    This paper intends to specifically want to reveal the value of education in the spirit of true jihad includes the struggle in all aspects of life. The method used is the interpretation and hadith Tarbawi. After the September 11, 2001 in the U.S, the Islamic religion is often labeled as a brutal, militaristic, which declared war as a holy way. Though jihad into the spirit and the spirit of the teachings of Islam, is not synonymous with war (qital), because in the real jihad embodied educational values. Educational values contained fairly universal jihad, including the spirit of struggle in all aspects of life, including the struggle for moral and spiritual struggle to uphold truth and justice or commanding the good and forbidding the evil. Jihad build together without discrimination, to uphold justice and remove all forms of tyranny, greed and lust limit. This is the real meaning of jihad akbar well as the shape of the universe kerahmatan the ideals of Islam as hinted in Surah al - Anbiya \u27 (21): 107

    JUNIOR-SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL BASED ON PESANTREN BOARDING SYSTEM

    The study is aimed to uncover that a boarding system in junior-senior high school (SMP-SMA) Semesta Billingual Boarding School (BBS) Semarang adopted the pesantren style. This is evidenced by the fact that, like pesantren, the typical of boarding school in BBS Semarang puts more emphasis on strengthening the affective (akhlÄq) aspects, because of; 1) the curriculum of all subjects in school mutually integrated, 2) the curriculum design by the development of self-habituation, 3) design through creating climate and culture, 4) constitute the hidden curriculum, 5) more "mutually adaptive" and dominated by transmission model rather than transaction and transformation model, 6) can be used as an eclectic systems, between constructivist and non-constructivist, the social and personal model, the information and processing model, the humanism and behavioral oriented. The main purpose of the schools adopts the boarding school system to maintain and improve the quality of learners morals. However by adopting such system, learners can be monitored for almost 24 hours because they had been living in the college. Thus, adopting a boarding school system can be a solution to overcome and reduce morale among students dekandensi Indonesia and even in other countries.Â

    This study contradicts the fact that nowadays many educational institutions conducting an intensive program that is effective for improving the quality of learning Arabic. The goal is to prepare students to have the ability to compete in the face of competition in the future. Therefore, STAIN Tulung manage intensive Arabic program with a clear vision and mission, strategically where, the participation of all elements of the school to make the maximum contribution to the strengthening of institutions. The problem is a graduate of the institution have not reached a satisfactory quality, are still required to efforts to improve the quality of learning Arabic. The method used in this research is grounded research. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that penyenggaraan intensive Arabic program at STAIN Tulung remains effective for several reasons, in ataranya there is no compatibility between the various elements in the institutions and the lack of continuity between the material being taught with the use of language in learning.Â

    Fulfillment of children\u27s rights has been a concern of Indonesia stated in the ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and Act No. 23 of 2002 on Child Protection. However, violence against children is increasing each year. The most dominant violence emerged in recent years is sexual abuse committed against children aged 5 to 11 years, and the perpetrators of sexual abuse are close with the children. Concern about cases of sexual abuse in early childhood and their impact, should be followed by an effort to develop a variety of approaches and methods of sex education in accordance with religious and cultural values in which children live.  Â
