    This paper aims to examine the possibility of spiritual values that is integrated with subject-matter of general subjects, especially science (IPA). The method of analysis in this paper adopts the basic principles of values education in Islam is monotheism, science and morals, which is based on the integration of knowledge between public science with the science of religion (non-dichotomous). Integration of Islamic values in the science learning manifest in the pattern of the overall science learning (integral-holistic) appreciates the existence of a general science or science as the study of Islamic religious knowledge as well as responding to the needs of society and the family.     Based on the contradiction among educational experts in interpreting the word al-qalb on the Holy Quran . Most interpret the "mind" and others interpreted with “heart†as there is no common word. On that basis, this study aimed to dissect the meaning of al-qalb on the Holy Qur\u27an with semantic approach . The method used in this study is a content analysis. The method is appropriate for the aspect of sentence context surrounding the word al-qalb in a variety of verses and letters . From the results of the study concluded that the word al-qalb on the Holy Qur\u27an contains three meanings: 1) the place of faith and emosion ; 2 ) mind, and 3 ) the spirit or lives . Thus, the contradiction among educational experts can actually be met within the context of the sentence in the Holy Qur\u27an. This also has implications for understanding the cognitive aspects of education, especially coaching (sense) and spiritual aspects (faith)

    HUMAN NATURE BASED ON AL-QUR’AN AS THE BASIC OF EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT

    This research focuses on perspective of human nature based on Al-Qur‟an as the basic of education development. It used descriptive qualitative method of research as well as library research which aims at collecting data and information from various literatures available in the library such as books, magazines, scripts, notes, histories, and other documents. The results of this research are drawn into conclusion, among others: first, based on all terms refering to human meaning, it can be defined that human nature required in Al-Qur‟an apparently leads to the term al-insân. On the other side, from human structure‟s perspective, Al-Qur‟an describes human as a creature consisting of physical and spiritual elements. Meanwhile from his position and role, human nature based on Al-Qur‟an is described as Allah‟s servant and Allah‟s khalifah on Earth. Second, there is a close relationship both directly and indirectly with education concept in Al-Qur‟an. Third, the concept of human nature in Al-Qur‟an which cannot be separated from its education concept, thus, has a basic implication toward all education aspects, especially, in vision, orientation and objective of education, curriculum, methodology of education and evaluation on education. Fourth, process of education development based on concept of human nature in Al-Qur‟an including objective, curriculum, methodology, and evalution of education aspects, basically, is understood as efforts or ikhtiar to develop all human existences in the term of totality, structure, position, role and other their own potential values

    This study aims to explore the instructions of the Qur’an on epistimologi education of children. Based on the idea that childhood is a phase of life that is very important and influential on subsequent periods. Educational success in childhood will have a positive impact on the personality and life of the child in the future. As well as failure. This study is the library research with a qualitative approach. The primary data sources are the Qur’an and Tafsir. While the secondary data sources are books related to the theme of research. The research results showed that the Qur’an very concerned about the education of children and encourage parents and teachers to carry out such a comprehensive education. According to the Qur’an children can be jewelry of the world (zînat al-hayât al-dunyâ), a gem that boast (qurrata a’yun), trial for parents (fitnah), and enemies (\u27aduww). Several things related and affect a child\u27s education is the goal, materials, methods and educator. Everything has to be integrated in an integrated manner for all the requirements are met properly.Â

    KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT IN ISLAMIC HIGHER EDUCATION (A Case Study on Implementation of Knowledge Management Tools in UIN SGD Bandung)

    The demand on the implementation of knowledge management is even greater at higher education institutions as an institution that intersect with many academic activities and the development of a scientific assessment as occurs in UIN Sunan Gunung Jati Bandung. This study tried to explore and analyze how UIN SGD Bandung run management practices and various activities in it, especially within the framework of the management of intellectual assets owned as an important step of applying the knowledge management. More specifically, this study used a qualitative approach with descriptive-holistic methods and case study analysis, have tried to analyze the use of knowledge management tools in UIN SGD Bandung. This study in its analysis found that there are many deficiencies essentially and conceptually in the implementation of knowledge management conducted by the management UIN SGD Bandung. Some knowledge management tools, such as technology infrastructure, collaboration tools, taxonomy, also has not been applied properly. However, the cycle of activities related to the conversion process of knowledge, such as socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization, has been done in UIN SGD Bandung

    The Relevance of student graduates with the job they achieved are very important. This condition meets both the the hopes and ambitions of students and parents. It goes without saying that this is one indicator of the success of education program. The study was aimed at determining the preparation of the government to implement the curriculum in 2013, investigating the strategy to build the relevance between education and work, scrutinizing students’ mindset concerning the relevance of education and work. This study used descriptive analysis which is qualitative approach in nature. The findings of this study show that the government has prepared the curriculum gradually in 2013, and the government has administered 9 years school program, some district-State has already applied the 12 years education program, as well as it has spent education funding by 20%, and it has opened the program Vocational High School (SMK). Students’ mindset graduated from SMK has shifted from job-seeking to job-creating because they have sufficient skill. The degree of relevance between what students learn and what the society need is dependent upon collaboration among all stakeholders.Â

    The Internalization of Islamic Values in Pesantren

    This article aims to describe the internalization of Islamic values in fostering akhlak (morality) of santri (Islamic boarding school students) in Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) Miftahul Muhajirin Cidadap, Pagaden, Subang. The Internalization carried out in the forms of religious activities such as fará¸u prayers in congregation, sunnah prayers Qiyãm al-lail and Ḍuha, sunnah fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, and recite Yasin after dawn. The Islamic internalization process of Islamic values takes several steps namely transformation values; transaction values; and trans-internalization values. The overview of akhlak santri from internalization results obtained from questionnaires data distributed to 53 santri. From the questionnaire data, it was obtained the categories of akhlak santri; excellent students (52.83%), good (45.28%), and quite good (1.89%).Â

    This study explains the development paradigm of Islamic studies in the College (PTAI) that is inspired by the transformation of science that has developed along with the demands of a globalized world which is marked the transformation of information technology or information civilization. This study is a library research at IAIN Ambon. The research resource includes the book of the Scientific Development Paradigm at IAIN Ambon with hermeneutic and deconstructive approach and critical analysis. Based on the research concluded: (1) Scientific paradigm developed in Ambon IAIN is interconnected-integrated paradigm in the metaphor of bees, where all sciences are closely related each other; and (2) the development of integrated-interconnected paradigm at Ambon IAIN conceptually is not fully relevant to the idea of founding fathers on this paradigm. It seems immature and not yet supported by the strong philosophy principles

    MERANCANG TEKNIK PENILAIAN BERBASIS KELAS: Kasus Guru Fiqih Tsanawiyah

    Previously, the teachers of fiqh at Madrasah Tsanawiyah still have the difficulties in correctly measuring the competence and student learning outcomes. It means, the validity of the result of teacher assessments is still in doubt. It’s caused the lack of knowledge and variation in assessing their learning outcomes. The teacher of Madrasah Tsanawiyah on average are not familiar with classroom-based assessment techniques that have not mastered the basic techniques required in the assessment of classroom-based assessment techniques, such as product assessment, portfolio, project, performance, attitude and personal assessment. This paper aims to introduce a class-based assessment techniques and then describe of fiqh teacher competency in designing classroom-based assessment techniques. This research uses qualitative-descriptive method, where instruments for data collection are observation/observation sheets and test. The results of data processing indicates that after receiving the learning materials about classroom assessment techniques, which include product assessment techniques, portfolios, projects, performance, attitude and self-assessment, the competence of fiqh teachers in designing classroom-based assessment techniques is considered at the average level
