Tradisi lisan sebagai bahan pengembangan materi ajarPendidikan IPS di SMP: sebuah telaah literatur
In addition to models, methods, and media, another aspect that is also very important in social studies is teaching material. As an essential element in the learning process, teaching materials must have adequate quality. Accordingly, this article is intended to offer a literature overview of oral traditions as material development for social studies in junior high schools, as well as to design conceptual models related to their application. This article is a conceptual article compiled based on the results of literature studies (books, journals, etc.) and document analysis (Core Competencies, Basic Competencies, Syllabus, etc.). There are three findings offered by this article. First, oral tradition is a potential source to be developed into social studies in junior high schools as it contains values of local wisdom and moral teachings which are relevant to the vision of social studies, namely as civic education. Also, oral traditions, which are part of anthropology and history, share the same nature to social study materials-combination of social science disciplines. Second, from several oral tradition variants, the most potent type to be inserted in social study materials are traditional expressions, folk poetry, folklore, and folk songs-by considering three things, namely: a) curriculum relevance; b) richness in value content; c) school environment-related issues. Third, three stages can be done in developing oral traditions as teaching materials, namely: a) analysis stage (identification of oral tradition and its relevance to curriculum); b) design and development stage (determining the form and structure of teaching materials required); and c) implementation stage.DOI: 10.17977/um022v5i12020p05
Strategi pemuda Gang Tato Desa Kemantren Kabupaten Malang melawan stigma sosial
This thesis attempts to review how the Young People of Tattoo Alley interpret tattoos and social movements carried out to fight stigma. The process of extracting data is done through a qualitative approach. This study uses data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The research location is in Tattoo Alley, Kemantren Village, Malang Regency. The process of data analysis is done through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, the validity of the data was examined using source triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that: First, there are two types of meaning of tattoos that are distinguished by phase, namely the first phase of meaning of tattoos tends to be negative, while the second phase of tattoos is more positively interpreted. Second, forms of social movements undertaken by Tattoo Alley Young People to fight stigma and discrimination include: conducting tutoring, training in mask craft, training in traditional musical instruments, and implementing teaching programs conducted by thugs. Studi kapasitas masyarakat sebagai mekanisme bertahan menghadapi bencana banjir di Desa Sitiarjo, Kecamatan Sumbermanjing Wetan, Kabupaten Malang
The aim of this study was to determine the capacity of communities as a mechanism to withstand floods Sitiarjo Village, District Sumbermanjing Wetan. This research is descriptive qualitative. The research phase was divided into three, i.e: (1) pre-field observation; (2) field observation; (3) data processing. The method used in data collection is FGD (Focused Group Disscusion) and in-depth interviews. The results of the study indicate that the community has a strong capacity in social, cultural, economic and government aspects in dealing with floods. In the socio-cultural aspect, the community develops a local early warning system through "titir" and a communication chain involving the community along the Panguluran watershed armed with traditional technology, as well as the mutual development of a public evacuation site in the form of multi-storey buildings, in addition to every family capable of building terraced houses . In addition, the community has the capacity to survive in saving economic assets by creating "plenggrongan" and planting calendar systems for crisis management. Pembelajaran Sejarah di SMK era revolusi industri 4.0: tantangan dan peluang
Vocational High Schools (VHS) are currently facing challenges in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, this is responded by the government by issuing one of the regulations, namely Peraturan Dirjen Dikdasmen No. 07/D.D5/KK/2018 which changes the curriculum structure in VHS. One of the subjects affected is Sejarah Indonesia which currently only gets 3 hours in class X. Though history is important to learn for show its identity as a nation. The purpose of this study is to examine the challenges and opportunities that faced on history learning in VHS at the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, so that the application of history learning becomes effective and efficient. This study uses qualitative method by conducting interviews with four teachers and documents study about regulations of curriculum and reviewing other studies. The results found that teachers can use technology in learning, such as Whatsapp, Instagram, Edmodo, Prezi, documentary films, and visit local cultural heritage sites and museums as a media and source of history learning, so that can also be delivered effectively and efficiently. Finally, the goal of history learning to show its identity as a nation and also the integration of Indonesian nation can remain in the midst at the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0.DOI: 10.17977/um022v4i22019p05
Pengaruh kemampuan dasar Matematika terhadap hasil belajar Akuntansi mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan IPS UIN Maliki Malang
Matakuliah Akuntansi pada program studi pendidikan IPS banyak berkaitan dengan operasi hitung dan simbol matematika. Matematika dibutuhkan dalam akuntansi karena keduanya memiliki kesamaan karakteristik, yaitu sama-sama menekankan penggunaan logika, sama-sama menggunakan simbol, sama-sama memiliki rumus-rumus pasti yang hasilnya tidak bisa diganggu gugat. Karena banyak kesamaan dalam matematika dan akuntansi, sehingga dapat dikatakan pelajaran matematika harus dapat dipahami mahasiswa sebelum mempelajari akuntansi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara kemampuan dasar matematika mahasiswa terhadap hasil belajar. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tidak adanya pengaruh positif signifikan kemampuan dasar matematika terhadap hasil belajar akuntansi. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa mahasiswa tidak perlu khawatir jika tidak menyukai matematika, ternyata masih bisa mengikuti mata kuliah akuntansi dengan baik. Karena perhitungan dalam akuntansi adalah perhitungan dasar, seperti penjumlahan, pengurangan, perkalian dan pembagian. Selain itu, mahasiswa juga harus mengubah gaya belajarnya yang hanya mengandalkan pertemuan kuliah di kelas tanpa persiapan materi sebelumnya.DOI: 10.17977/um022v4i12019p02
Meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) menggunakan media “ATM BCA”
Learning models or media that are appropriate to the characteristics of the material, and students can increase the effectiveness of learning. Models that can involve students can improve understanding of the material and the same conditions also apply to media that are by the characteristics of the material. Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model using the media "ATM BCA" through the steps: (1) Information, (2) Grouping, (3) Planning, (4) Acting, (5) Organizing, (6) Presenting and Reward, (7) Evaluating is an effort to achieve that goal. This research is action research carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Eksistensi home industry berbasis gender di Kota Malang
There are many industry sector in Malang City, one of them is Cornflakes Industry which located on Kelurahan Pandanwangi, Kecamatan Blimbing, Malang City. This industry, is running for over 25 years and must facing business competition in industrialized era. For their sustainability, this industry is supported by social capital strengthness. In order to preserving home industries which producing cornflake, there are some components in society who directly supports such as: business owner, employee, and laborer. Research was conducted by qualitative research with gender approach. This research aims for analyzing social capital role on cornflake home industry in Malang City, elaborating social phenomena in industrial sector with economy sociological context and identifying how social capital works on cornflake industrial relationship in Malang City. Research was found that social capital among industrial relation are created social bonding among societies which created by kinship and neighborhood system, then, strengthening cooperation between employee, employer, labor, supplier, consumen and Malang City government for supporting each other due to local commodity from home industry sector. Finally, research finding if social capital will determined industrial existences in the future based on product necessity like cornflake as local commodity has declared by Tourism Indonesia Government as premium local food product from Malang City.DOI: 10.17977/um022v4i12019p03
Studi kesesuaian dan strategi pengelolaan ekowisata Pantai Ungapan, Kabupaten Malang untuk pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan
Salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan sumberdaya pesisir dan laut di Kabupaten Malang berupa pengembangan kawasan wisata pantai. Dalam hal ini bentuk wisata pantai yang dikembangkan adalah kegiatan rekreasi pantai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesesuaian wisata rekreasi dan merumuskan strategi pengelolaan kawasan wisata pantai. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pantai Ungapan di Desa Gajahrejo, Kecamatan Gedangan, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif denganteknik analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan data primer dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rapid integrated survey sumber daya alam wilayah pesisir, observasi dan wawancara. Pengumpulan data sekunder bersumber dari studi pustaka dan dokumen dari instansi terkait. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu perhitungan Indeks Kesesuaian Wisata (IKW) untuk rekreasi dan metode SOAR. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan IKW, Pantai Ungapan termasuk kategori sesuai yang dapat dijadikan kawasan ekowisata pantai dengan nilai 93%. Strategi yang dapat diterapkan di Pantai Ungapan yaitu mengoptimalkan seluruh potensi yang ada dan kerjasama seluruh stakeholders pariwisata untuk mewujudkan pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Pembangunan keberlanjutan merupakan upaya terpadu dan terorganisasi untuk mengembangkan kualitas hidup dengan cara mengatur penyediaan, pengembangan, pemanfaatan, dan pemeliharaan sumber daya secara berkelanjutan.DOI: 10.17977/um022v4i12019p04
Urgensi pengelolaan pariwisata Kampung Heritage Kajoetangan Malang
Malang City as one of the cities of cultural tourism and history in East Java has its own charm, one of which is village tourism. Village tourism with the feel of thematic cultural entertainment named Heritage Kayutangan Village has not been well managed since it was founded a year ago. This research method is qualitative with observation and interviews. Kayutangan Malang Heritage Village has a unique appeal with the classic nuances of the past. Kampung Kayutangan offers several facilities such as village lines, old house visits, photo spots, traditional game spots, past photo galleries, antique galleries and ancient culinary variety. The potential of Heritage Kayutangan Village has not been managed properly. Two historical tourism management strategies offered are setting appropriate city government policies and effective promotions to increase tourism attractiveness.DOI: 10.17977/um022v4i12019p01
Pengaruh kecerdasan adversitas dan kecerdasan emosional melalui model inkuiri sosial terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa
The research purpose is to know the effect of adversity intelligence and emotional intelligence through social inquiry models against social skills. The research method used ex post facto — the collection data technique using questionnaires. The taking sample technique is approached by simple random sampling. The amount of sample is 104 students on SMP N 10 Bandar Lampung. The data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The research result shows that there are a definite relation linkages between endogenous variable, exogenous variable, and intervening variable. Through the social inquiry model, intelligence and emotional intelligence adversity will play a role effective in improved the skills of social. It would be useful for a student to are learning success in classes and the future. It is expected that schools can optimize emotional adversity intelligence and intelligence to enhance their social skills and skills students academics. It can be concluded that if adversity intelligence and emotional intelligence through social inquiry model against social skill.DOI: 10.17977/um022v4i22019p06
