SIMULASI PROSES BONGKAR MUAT PETI KEMAS DI PT. PELABUHAN INDONESIA SORONG
PT. Pelindo Sorong is a company in West Papua that offers loading and unloading services using containers. Although the company has implemented  a queue distribution pattern in handling containers, it needs process improvement.One method to overcome is problem is to use Promodel 2016 software and SPSS version 22 as a tool to determine the optimal timing of the ideal loading and unloading process. The container handling equipment observed in this study were a crane, tractor trailer and reach stacker. The field survey in February 2020 was conducted to measure the handling time of dry containers.The simulation results show that the optimal average loading process is 2.32 minutes and the loading process time is 3.08 minutes. And the highest level of utility for the loading process is 25.24% and for the loading process is 53.30%. From the analysis using promodel 2016 software, it is known that the highest utility value of the two processes is below 100% so that there is no bottleneck. If the utility value of both processes reaches 100%, there will be a rush in the queue system. ALISIS SIFAT MEKANIK RANTAI TIPE 428 PADA SEPEDA MOTOR PRODUK YAMAHA MX135
The motorcycle chain is one of the most important parts of the motor which has a function to transmit power from the engine to the wheels. In this study, an analysis of the mechanical properties and chemical composition of the plates and pins of the Yamaha MX 135 type 428 motorcycle chain and other motorcycle chain products was carried out. The methodology used is hardness testing, microstructure testing and chemical composition testing on the two motor chain products and comparing them with the standard.The results obtained show that the chain plate hardness value for Yamaha products is 44.35HRC and other products of 44.4 HRC have exceeded the SAE 1050 hardness standard of 30 HRC. The hardness value of the Yamaha motorcycle chain pin is 427 HB and the motorcycle chain pin of other products is 428 HB which has met the AISI 15B25 standard of 131 HB. Thus, the value of the tensile strength of both plate and chain pins for Yamaha motorcycles and other products obtained from the conversion of hardness values also exceeds the set standards. The results of microstructure testing for plates and pins of motorcycle chains for Yamaha products and other products contain ferrite and pearlite phases with uneven distribution. The results of the chemical composition test show that the Yamaha motorcycle chain plate has met the SAE 1050 standard while the other product motorcycle chain has a C element content of 1.44% exceeding the standard which is 0.48-0.55%. In the motorcycle chain pin, Yamaha products have a C content of 0.4% and in other products it has a C content of 0.43%, which is greater than the AISI 15B25 standard of 0.22-0.3% C
Penerapan Metode HIRARC untuk Analisis Risiko Keselamatan Kerja Pada Penambang Emas Rakyat di Ratatotok
 Traditionally, small-scale mining industry organized by the community is a typical industry that has a high risk of work accidents. Related to efforts to minimize the risk of mining activities in traditional mining businesses, this study aims to identify various safety risks in the traditional gold mining process in Ratatotok, North Sulawesi using the HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) method. The results of the application of this method indicate that the most critical risk of work accidents is the danger of being hit by a hole buffer tool and being pinched by rocks and the danger of being buried by landslides due to continuous rain with the largest risk score of 25.Â
PENGARUH KECEPATAN ALIRAN PENDINGIN TERHADAP PANAS PEMOTONGAN PADA PEMBUBUTAN BENDA KERJA SILINDRIS
The lathe machine is a machine tool that rotates a workpiece to perform cutting. Lathe it self constitutes a procces that cuts rotating workpiece used chisel that moves parallel with rotating axis. The cutting process will generate heat. The lathe machines is equipped with liquid direct contact cooling system to cooling the chisel and the workpiece. This research, observed the effect of cooling liquid flow rates toward the heat, generates by cutting procces of a cylindrical workpiece.The are two aims of this research. The first aim, is to calculate the gerenates by the cutting process of a cylindrical workpiece. The second aim, is to know the number of cooling liquid flow rates that is good to cooling the chisel and the workpiece. Experiment were done by three variations of cooling flow rates, that is regulated by the open angle of cooling liquid’s ball valve. There are three open angle variations that are 300, 600, 900.From the experiments, the used of the cooling liquid is able to cooling down the high temperature due to cutting process. At 900 open angle of cooling liquid’s ball valve showed a better effects of cooling process. However, the decreases of temperature done by 300 and 600 open angle position of cooling liquid’s ball valve are not significant. ANALISIS DEFLEKSI BENDA KERJA DITINJAU DARI KEDALAMAN POTONG PADA PROSES BUBUT
The purpose of this research is to obtain relations of workpiece’s deflection toward cutting force related to gripping distance, and to analize deflection towards parameters of the depth cutting and cutting rotation velocity at 300 rpm and 1600 rpm. The first result, is the deflection of workpiece is getting larger by the depth of cutting is increases. The second result, is the difference of deflection towards cutting rotation velocity variations. Number of workpiece’s deflection, showed small reduction at 300 rpm towards 1600 rpm. However, deflections numbers remain constant showed by the statistics data, because of the small variation. This research showed that, at the low cutting velocity the workpiece’s deflection is larger compare to high cutting velocity. SIMULASI PENGARUH JUMLAH DAN PANJANG SUDU TERHADAP DAYA TURBIN ANGIN TIPE POROS HORISONTAL
Wind power is a power plant that uses wind as an energy source to produce electrical energy. This plant converts wind energy into electrical energy using wind turbines or windmills. The purpose of this study was to obtain the simulation result of comparison wind turbine power on variations number and length. The conclusion of this study is increasing number and length of sudus in the Ansys 2020 R1 simulation, the greater power produced. ANALISIS LAJU PENDINGINAN DAN KONSUMSI ENERGI LISTRIK PADA MESIN PENDINGIN LUCAS NULLE TYPE RCC2 MENGGUNAKAN REFRIGERAN R-600A
Refrigeration machines already play an important role in the lives of modern society. In order for a cooling machine to be utilized optimally, the cooling capacity of the cooling machine must be in accordance with the heat load and electrical energy consumption it overcomes. This research aims to find out the performance of cooling engines in terms of cooling rate and electrical energy consumption when using R-600a refrigerant in Lucas Nulle type RCC2 cooling machines at Sam Ratulangi University Mechanical Engineering Laboratory, using temperature data from refrigerant R-600a as well as electrical current data. The observational values of the data were obtained by three prominent data, each experiment was conducted for 90 minutes on refrigerant variations.The results of observation of data for the average temperature decrease, which can reach a temperature of 4.1 ° C. The relationship between coldbox temperature and time. R-600a refrigerant has an average temperature drop of 0.0398 °C/s. And the rate of cooling to electricity consumption when the cooling machine began to operate increased where at the starting point of 1.04 A with a temperature of 28 ° C, to the end point of 1.3 A With a temperature of 4.1 ° C the average increase in electricity consumption was 0.0038 A / s
AUTOMASI ALAT UJI TARIK TIPE TERCO MT 3017 BERBASIS MICROCONTROLLER
This research is to modify the TERCO MT3017 type tensile test equipment which is still manual by using supporting components of the Stepper Motor, Pressure Sensor and Distance Sensor, so that the tensile testing instrument is developed into a test tool that becomes more efficient in terms of object testing.The purpose of this research is to design and build automation Tensile Test Equipment based on a microcontroller, using a drive component and a pressure reader so that it can get more efficient data.The results obtained from the TERCO MT3017 type tensile testing tool are getting a composite test specimen diagram in general where the tensile force increases in accordance with the extension of the test specimen. Keywords: Tensile Test Equipment, Microcontroller, Stepper Moto
RANCANG BANGUN BANTALAN MAGNET PERMANEN UNTUK RODA DAYA SEBAGAI BATERAI MEKANIK
The flywheel as a mechanical battery is an energy storage device that is superior in terms of charging and discharging compared to other energy storage devices. In this research the dimensions of the mechanical battery are design in a such a way as to make it easier to use in daily life. On other side the mechanical battery is designed using permanent magnet bearing in the hope that it can minimize the occurance of frictionthat can reduce the power of the battery.The research was made in a Design and ConstructionLaboratory, Majoring in Mechanical Engineering UNSRAT. In this research the shaft material used is carboon steel type S30C which is heat treat with normalization. The shaft diameter is obtained 18 mm and flywheel diameter is 100 mm. Magnet capacity on the shaft as many as 28 magnets on each ring. So the total magnet on the shaft are 224 magnets. Aside on that in this research the diameter of the bearing is 30 mm with magnet capacity is 40 magnets on each ring. So the total magnet on the bearing are 320 magnets.The final result of the mechanical battery dimensions is 110×120×105 mm. the magnitude of the magnetic support force on each ring is 900 gr with the total bearing support force is 7,2 kg. PERENCANAAN PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA SURYA PADA GEDUNG GEREJA GMIM PNIEL BAHU
This research aims to make simple technical planning of Solar Power Plant system to meet the electricity needs of GMIM Pniel Bahu Church building. This research was carried out in several stages, namely literature studies, data collection, data processing, analysis and discussion, and most recently conclusions.           The data required in this study are data on the use of electrical equipment obtained directly at the research site, as well as radiation data and clearness index manado city obtained from NASA Surface Meteorology and Solar Energy database. Data processing is done using HOMER(R) 2.86 software.Result simulation with homer software(R) 2.86   for on-grid system shows that    for on-grid system, electricity needs of GMIM Pniel Bahu Church building are met by PLN network of 31,529 kWh/year (99%) and PLTS of 170 kWh/year (1%). The PLTS used consists of a 0.1 kW PV and a 0.1 kW converter. As for the off-grid system, the power supply for gmim pniel bahu church building is provided by PLTS consisting of 30 kW PV, 208 pieces of Trojan T-105 battery and 15 kW converter capable of producing electrical energy of 51,107 kWh/year
